He was primarily a special teams player until he converted to OT and beat out the lamentable Mike Williams for the starting RT position (eventually moving to LT). Kudos to Buffalo's (usually-lamentable) front office and (no less lamentable) coaching staff for this one. By the time it's over he'll have gone from UDFA and the practice squad to Canton. EDIT: Buffalo's lamentable front office returned to form and wasn't willing to pay Peters. Eventually he was traded to Philly for a first round pick. While we were unhappy for years thinking that this stud should have finished his career with the Bills, we were very happy with the player we got with that first round pick - Eric Wood. Think about it: a UDFA turned into Peters and Wood who were mainstays of the OL from 2004 to 2017.
