I didn't say there's been no pressure in the game, but he's taken off and run on a few plays with little pressure rather than stay in and make the best throw. Pats are dedicating guys to spy Allen and betting he can't figure out single coverage. So far they've bet correctly.

Dabol is in a tough position. Play calling right now is brutal but what is he supposed to do when his QB goes full on deer in the headlights? Josh needs to man up and show some mental toughness here. It's one thing to have a bad series or quarter but you can't completely melt down out there.

You wouldn't know it from the scoreboard but Bills D is winning the battle vs. Brady so far. He made one great throw (and White with an even better catch) vs. really good coverage. Outside of that play we're good.

Pats had that 3rd and 9 play well covered but it was single coverage. Get the ball out on time and let your receiver make a play. Josh is rattled and trying to do it all himself because he knows he's off to such a brutal start. He's making things so much harder for himself. That 2nd down hail mary throw looked like JuCo ball.

Watching the reply of that punt block and we're not even lined up correctly. DiMarco, our special teams captain, is way inside and blocking two right off the snap. Brutal. That's coaching.

On the bright side, our schedule is so soft this year we can get clubbed by NE and still make the playoffs.

I'm at a 3/10. I think we have the defense and the coaching to finally get it done, but our QB isn't ready. Patriots have an especially challenging defense this year and Belichick always finds ways to make things tough on young QBs who don't have the NFL quite figured out yet. There's a better chance we get held to under 10 points than win the game. I do believe the rest of the team will show up. We're legit good outside of the QB position.

I so badly want to bet the points in this one. Home dog + Bills D + McD's kitchen sink game plan + the fact we're so overdue vs. Pats should = cover...but...damn that that Pats D looks intimidating. I seriously question whether we'll be able to score points. Josh's decision making is iffy at the best of times let alone going against Belichick. I hate betting on the Pats.

Sometimes I still get mad about the Peters trade but I enjoyed EWood. Him and Richie and Shady were basically the whole offense for a couple years. But anytime you can trade away a HOF LT just entering his prime you just have to do it.

Why is that the worst part of the article? He is being asked to make easier throws because we're a more dangerous offense if we can sustain drives as appose to always taking shots down field. Also, Allen has proven the doubters right on the anticipation stuff. He very rarely throws unless/until he sees the receiver is open. That was a big issue in the Cinci game. Every announcing crew so far this year has called him out on it.

Somewhere on here I have a post lambasting the trade. Basically we chose Josh over Lamar Jackson + two 2nds + one 3rd + Cordy Glenn. I wanted Jackson at the time but I suppose there was no way of knowing leading into the draft that he'd he fall past our 22nd pick or whatever. Time will tell if we made the right move.

Hauschka missed the long one but he's been mostly reliable. Borjorquez is second last in the league in punt ave and dead last in the league in net punt ave. Our punting unit sucks.

I think he's done in Carolina. Vick called it first and I agree with him. Cam needs to sit out the full year and maybe more. He'll come back and be good again if he does that. Football is a rough sport.

He approached it exactly the way I would have but if you just want to focus on 2019: we're 6th in total yards allowed, 5th in points allowed, and 27th in offensive turnovers. His point holds up regardless of what time frame you're looking at (i.e. the defense has been really good given the terrible positions it's being put in by the offense).

I don't think we'll win but I like us to cover. McD will bring the kitchen sink in this one.

The worrisome part is it's his second bad game in a row. I thought he was worse vs. Giants.

Actually it's week 3 last year through three games this year. Our coach is the same. We returned 10 starters. It's basically the exact same defense.

Different networks (ESPN/CBS). I like our chances to hold the Pats under 25. McD has had some really good game plans vs. them the last two years. I'm less confident in our offense to keep it close.
