kb needs to step up and catch the ball

air Allen for 6

Hopefully the Bills figure out how to pressure the qb They got to Rivers some in the second half last week so maybe that continues. Cousins will force throws under duress.

not a Gruden fan He did win a super bowl but it was with team firmly in place from the previous coach Tony Dungy. I think giving him all the power is going to backfire.

Defense gets some stops. Bills are able to get some running game going. Josh Allen is able to convert some third down throws. Someone on offense breaks out and makes a big play to help the young qb. No injuries. The announcers call a game without irritating the crap out of me

JAG a bad pick even worse considering he was injured right from day 1 after being drafted Whaley was a epic fail

He was a top 5 pick on some draft board, but a 10 player on hardly any big boards.
Allen is a boom or bust prospect who history shows probably won't work out. I don't know why people get so upset when people are critical of him.
Maybe on ledyards board but then again he had paxton lunch and cardale jones ahead of Carson wentz. Mayock, Mcshay, walter football, kiper, pete prisco all had allen as a top 10 pick

Yes, of course they are and yes he does.
He was on with Schopp and Bulldog explaining his take on Allen quite well a couple of days ago.
Ad hominem attacks like we are seeing in this thread are a common logical fallacy widely practiced by your average Bills fan.
Ultimately, the source of the contempt for Ledyard is the poster's own fear that Allen isn't going to pan out.
He was considered a high risk project player by almost everyone, most had him as a 3rd round type gamble.
He is still exhibiting the same sorts of issues he has always exhibited, and his accuracy is all over the map.
It's just basic psychology. Rather than address these things head on, the typical fan attacks the source of the criticism.
He was a top 5 pick in almost every major draft board so I guess this guy is smarter than everyone else.

I dont think the Bears are any good. Not impressed at all with Trubisky but he gets another year or two to see where he's at

huge spread for a nfl game Vikes missing a tackle I believe and Dalvin Cook

The Mahomes comparisons are ridiculous. On guy has a established offensive line, Andy Reid who has developed several very good qbs and maybe the best set of skill position players in the NFL The other has a offensive line with new starters at almost every spot, a defensive mind basically rookie head coach and likely the worst receiving core in pro football. Anyone think Mahomes would be thriving if the situations were reversed?

Good for him. He's having fun and has made the most of his career. Lot of talent on offense in Tampa, I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps it going and finishes with his best year.

If the coaches lost the team you would have seen them collapse in the 2nd half Instead they came out and clawed back into with the defense Bills outscored the Bolts 17-3 in the 2nd half The sky isnt falling people

I don't think you even need all 22 film to see the line isnt very good . Not on every snap but certainly lots of protection breakdowns Maybe they gel and things improve. Lot of those sacks was two guys picking up one rusher and leaving someone free to buzz in on the qb Josh can help by making a decision and getting the rock out. Get that run game going and don't put all the emphasis on Allen and he'll be ok.

Assuming we finish near the bottom, we should be able to land the best OT or pass rusher available or possibly swap picks and fill two holes. I'd be ok with a lock down corner as well. Tre and another player of that caliber sounds pretty good to help the pass rush. Hoping a hyped up qb or 2 or three emerge. Lot of teams will be looking at qb Lot of older guys nearing the end (Roethlisberger, Eli, Brady, Rivers, etc) Add wr and OG in FA

If the Bills second half defense show up week in week out than Allen has a chance to win some games Run Chris Ivory more

The most sacked NFL QB in a season is David Carr.
Sacked 76 times in 2002.
Will Josh Allen take that record from Carr this season?!
The fact that Groy is terrible doesn't make Wood better.
He was not as good as his reputation suggested IMO.
agreed, never understood the love affair with Wood

I miss the old days when posters hated on Wood.
He used to get pushed around a lot as well Every time we played the Bengals Geno Atkins would throw him around a few times Not a Wood fan but he's probably better than what we got going now

Of all the throws he made, the one to Murphy was the one that bothered me the most. He just lobbed it when it should have been a dart. That was a QB aiming it instead of throwing it.
He might no trust Murphy's receiving skills He had a drop or two during the game Don't know how he catches in practice I would think a young qb might have a tendency to baby passes to guys once they drop a few
