I also think if we win versus Pats to get the two seed - we are likely to get the Steelers in the WC round. I don’t see Miami beating NYJ with a third string QB. Pitt and Cincy at home is a much easier path to the AFCCG than Balt at home and at Cincy.

I ran the ESPN playoff simulator for this scenario and the Bengals hold the tie breaker over us and would be the #2. Not sure what the tie breaker is that puts it in their favor because we would have same overall/conference/divisions records in this scenario. Maybe winning % against common opponents?

In this scenario wouldn’t they need to preserve the H2H games with the Bills and Bengals to preserve for tie breaker scenarios? In that case, they would have 13 (or 14) wins subject to elimination and just one loss…

I thought we should have traded for him at the deadline. I would think a 3rd maybe 4th would have done it and we would have got a comp pick back if he left in free agency. Regarding impending free agency - would not give a big contract to any RB given the current state of the NFL. I’d consider a two year deal if he would take below market value if he wants to ring chase.
