Panthers @ Bills, Preseason game 3, Sat 8/24 1pm
wolfpack78 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was a walk on at Ohio State in the mid-2000s, and got a scholarship my senior year... these videos always bring a tear to my eye. Although, back in my day (old timer alert) we didn't have everything on social media and I didn't get some big production like this. My experience was very anti-climatic... I got a call from our compliance department asking for some information and that's how I found out. It was really cool when word got around the locker room and guys I had been killing myself against on the scout team for years came up to show their respect and congratulate me. -
This may get you the field clubs - which is a $15K PSL and has some pretty sweet amenities… all you can eat and drink - excluding alcohol, a pretty cool club area that’ll have a couple bars and even a DJ booth, and an area you can actually walk out onto the field behind the Bills bench. Told my rep I wasn’t interested in East Club seats (comparable to current clubs) but was interested in these Field Club seats. Make sure you turn them down so I have a better shot!

They gave me some BS reason as to why they kicked me to Rep B, but I truly think it's because I said I didn't want the $15K Club PSL. The irony is that I did express interest in another section with a $15K PSL, but they must think those won't be around by the time I'm back up. I had my experience on 6/19, told Rep A about a week later I was out for comparable clubs (East Clubs), but was interested in another section with a $15K PSL. I was informed I was kicked to Rep B mid-last week. The view from the East Clubs seats I was shown was not that great and not worth the $15K. I would rather have a non-Club seat with a better view at a lower price. The main amenity of the current Clubs I desire is that it's more 'tame' than the other areas. I'm hoping with the significant increase in prices and PSLs, this won't be as much of a thing in the new stadium. I also live in Ohio and only make three games a year (plus playoffs), so doesn't make sense for me to 'invest' $30K for the right to buy tickets when I only use a third of the tickets. To your point in a later message, was also surprised that the ticket prices were also doubling ON TOP OF the PSL price. I've had a pretty hard time selling tickets to games I'm not attending (I'm told from my buddy whose a local that there is a negative perception of Club seats, which may be part of it), so I don't think I'll be able to recoup costs down the road. I have Ohio State football season tickets and make a killing on those with no problem at all.

Never said I was “upset,” I said the process was “very annoying.” Once I told my first guy (we’ll call him ‘Rep A’) wasn’t interested in the new Clubs, he assured me he would work hard to get me something I’d like at a price point I was good with. Two weeks later, I was passed to another guy (‘Rep B’). Rep A clearly had no dialogue with Rep B about my experience nor what I was looking for, so had to explain my situation all over again to Rep B. While not upsetting, I found the false promises of Rep A and the time wasted re-explaining to Rep B to be very annoying.

Has anyone gotten training camp “lottery” tickets yet?
wolfpack78 replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm selling two premium, two GA and a parking pass for the Sunday July 28th practice I will no longer be able to attend. Send me a message if interested. -
Currently have seats in the Toyota Club and had my experience to purchase equivalent club seats. Told my rep I wasn’t interested in the clubs at the new stadium and they just kicked me down to a less experienced rep that has no idea about what I’m looking for and I’m having to explain it all again. Very annoying process.

Vikings 4th round rookie, Khyree Jackson dies
wolfpack78 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Had an old college football coach that said nothing good happens after 10 PM - the older I get the more I agree with him. -
Another interesting thing is the there will be window seating inside the entire length of the club (almost entire visitor sideline and some wrap into the endzone) that you can view the field from, versus now the inside of the club is obstructed by the luxury boxes and you can’t see the field. So in theory, you could buy one of the cheaper club sections just to get in there but post up at the window at the 50 yard line to watch the game.

Don’t think so. The view isn’t great so looking to “get back in” after the cycle the clubs. If I’m paying that much - rather have a great view and will sacrifice the amenities of the club. Mainly got into them so I could take my young daughters to game. Been to enough to know a lot of the stadium isn’t “kid friendly” and the clubs generally are great for bringing a child. I don’t think that will be as big of an “issue” under the PSL model. Couple that with living in Ohio and making only three/four regular season games a year and my difficulty in selling tickets I won’t use up there, don’t think I’ll do clubs. I’ll also add I thought these new clubs (called East Club) seemed kind of “country club-ish” and not something that really appealed to me. I definitely think they’ll sell well - just not the right value proposition for me.
-
These were probably around the five yard line to side of the endzone. The section over was further down from that. Rep called me yesterday and said some new clubs further down (would be around back corner of endzone at this point) opened up at $8K PSL.
-
Had mine today… section comparable to my current had $15K PSL and annual ticket price doubled (from about $2,400 to $4,800 per). Section over still in the Clubs was $10K and ticket price about $300 less.

I'm in Toyota Club section 237 and have my experience next Wednesday (6/19). Will report back.
-
Have two tickets in the Toyota Club 237 row 2 to most games. Only games not available are are KC and San Fran as I plan on going to those. All other games (including pre-season) are available. Send me a message and let me know what game(s) you are interested in and what you are looking to pay. Thanks and Go Bills!

When does the comp pick window close? Hoping we sign someone like Michael Thomas as long as it doesn’t hurt the comp pick formula.
-
How would you construct the 2024 Bills WR Room?
wolfpack78 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Take a flier on Michael Thomas on a one year prove it deal. -
Which round are the Bills more likely to trade up....1st or 2nd??
wolfpack78 replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I foresee a trade up if Odunze or Thomas falls within reasonable striking distance. If that doesn’t happen, then trading back and back up in a separate deals to get two picks in the 30s/40s and come away Leggette and then another WR or DT depending on value. -
Cutting Martin saves north of $1M.

Bills official offseason Cap moves thread.
wolfpack78 replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm expecting this year to be a mini 'reset' year, and Beane is going to have an eye on going all in for 2025. That said, think he's going to play the comp pick game and let folks like Gabe, Floyd and AJE all depart while bargain hunting in free agency. We can enter the 2025 offseason in good cap shape (see ya later Von, Tre and Knox), a ton of picks and a lot of game experience from the 2023 and 2024 draft classes. I think they're going to want to give it all they can for 2025 as the marketing department is cold calling everyone trying to sell PSLs. -
We’re cursed.
-
Can confirm the play it during most / all kicks offs for Ohio State football games as well.
-
I have no faith in him. I have no idea how anyone on the team does.
-
I have tickets in row 2 of 237 - and while not directly under the heaters, I do get some heat from them.
