It's not just for continuity. What decent OC would want to take this job when the previous OC was giving a QB that throws INT's at a historical rate, a raw rookie who wasn't supposed to start and a guy who was on vacation just 10 days ago....fired after 6 games?
There are several experienced coaches who would chomp at the bit to land a OC job in the
NFL.
They all don’t share your lack of confidence in this team.

Yeah. My taxes really went down with the orange clown. And hey the deficit is the lowest it’s been. I suggest you live in reality and not Fox News.
Wow. What a disrespectful post. Show some class.

We sorely need that second head coach leading the offense though. Looks like McD would very much like to just leave that entire half of the team to a competent playcaller, and it's very much needed. But I doubt Daboll goes after the offense we have this year, while a good amount of it is on him, he'll be able to ride the rookie qb train for this year at least.
That’s mcds problem. He doesn’t coach the entire team. He is 1/2 the man he should be.
He needs to rely on his coaches to make decisions on the offensive side off the ball, a recipe for failure.

Things would be much calmer around here if everyone would realize this isn't going to be a good year for them. The Bills need to clear cap space and right now they are playing with little to no talent at WR and OL. Doesn't matter who the OC was going to be they just don't have the talent on that side of the ball to compete.
The Bills are going to have cap space at the end of the year and will be able to address some issues in FA and they will have good draft capital to move around the board and get the players they want.
We made the playoffs last year, we were supposed to grow off that.
Never were expectations set as a rebuilding/ failed year.
Beane and Mcd tore this roster apart just to spite our previous GM. In turn, we have apologists, like you, making up excuses.
We need to improve on last year or some coaches could be fired.
Beane and McD seat is already warm...I think Dabs is the sacrifice/ excuse this year.

It wouldn’t be a good look for McD if he fires 2 OCs in 2 years. Probably wouldn’t be good for Allen either having to learn another offense.
Yeah. For the sake of continuity, let’s keep a failed OC, just because McD is worried about his reputation.
That makes a lot of sense.

There were rumblings just two day ago about this. Thank God McD didn’t hire him initially.
Hopefully Dabs is next...

It’s a fact the refs favor patriots* especially Tom.
In this scenario, yes, 100% a penalty.
If we are playing the Jets, it could go either way.
Refs have long been suspected of doing everything in their power to change the outcome of our games.
Bills are at the very bottom of the totem pole.

Let’s hope so.
McD starting Anderson is the writing on the wall. Nate is finished, he can now follow his passion.

23-10. Bills!!

It won't stop. The little ***** on here will just find someone else to B word about. We are far from average. From the coaches down to the players. So many players on this team are lucky to be collecting a nfl check.
Both points from this post is completely wrong.
That anxiety you feel from negative posters is similar to the Nate anxiety. Trying to control something that is uncontrollable. Let it go and either ignore or don’t let it get to you.

We have a lot of lame ass players on this team. That's why they suck.
I'm not sure what's worse, the play of Peterman or the constant bitching over him.
We are a competitive team. We don’t suck. We are better than a lot of other teams, we are average.
Peterman is by far the worse on the team. The guy is obviously not right in the head. I hope the bitchin stops once we cut him.

What’s up with McD herpes??
Stress causing a flareup?

Anxiety? It's just a game
The build up and uncertainty along with potential of disaster = anxiety
Anxiety is a broad/ general term. Could be as simple as butterflies in the stomach, could be as severe as constantly pondering the situation; regardless it’s anxiety.
We don’t want our season sabotaged by one lame ass player.

Who's our backup QB then? Logan Thomas?
We're in a crap situation with regard to QB, but we've put ourselves there and when I say "we", I mean Beane and McDermott
Logan would be an upgrade from the total liability we call Nate. He is a wasted roster spot.

No because they didnt bring in another QB to back him up on Sunday
The Peterman anxiety has got to go.
Hopefully he will be let go sooner than later.

Can we just cut Nate now.

Whats the most bills-like scenario that can happen?
Allen comes back for a meaningless game in December and reinjures his elbow requiring surgery?
Only to be out the 2019 season, our front office will refuse to draft another QB or address in FA and this vicious cycle repeats itself.
Spinning the wheels from irresponsible leaders.
-
Beaten and abused in prison also...
-
Sabres and Bills are on the same path. The owner is not intelligent enough to make his own business decisions so he trusts others to.
He couldn’t care less about the fans.
-
It’s unfortunate, however typical.
If you don’t like irresponsible leadership mixed with bad luck then I suggest finding a different team.
This franchise just spins its wheels with excuses.
Its primary concern is profit. Winning is not a priority.

If Peterman starts Against Indy I won’t be wasting my Sunday watching the Bills. First time since I’ve been a child since I missed a game but can’t sit and watch this team just fall apart on offense.
Good for you!!! Now that takes guts.

Read between the lines....
"We knew this year was going to be tougher than last year. We have a plan that we cannot say publicly. We will obviously rid ourselves of Peterman and Benjamin after the season. We are likely to trade 1 or 2 key pieces for personnel or draft picks (not sure when). Through FA and especially the draft we will address the WR and OL situations. Additionally, we'll add a top flight CB and DT. We are not thrilled with Dabol so far, but we understand he's working with some limited, and some inexperienced talent. We plan to fix that. There is no way we will fire Dabol, can you imagine how bad that would make us look? As long as we don't lose our fans or our jobs, we're secretly OK with losing these games. Higher draft picks means higher talent level moving forward. We've told the Pegula's our plan and they are on board. Next year is the year of the Bills. Just got to get through this year."
This is not reading between the lines. This is an opinion, a bad one.
-
Would be a HUGE upgrade of what we have now. Won’t happen unfortunately.
-
In round 1. I think we draft the WR out of Buffalo to help Josh. Maybe we pick up a qb in the later rounds but he won’t compete.
