I’ve been entertained so far. I’m a huge football fan at any level. High school to NFL and anything in between. Glad to have spring football. Interested to see if this league can last more than a year (or less like the AAF did).

I was shocking to find out the hull of the Sullivans is only 3/8 of an inch thick. That seems an unbelievable number. I assume to keep her light enough to maneuver, but man, one bullet probably could have had the power to sink her back in the war.

Especially since, from the accounts I heard, the ship didn’t even sink immediately. That would mean 442 were lost from the immediate impact of one Ukrainian missile. Like you said, seems impossible. I guess if they were all sleeping in berthing and the missile happened to hit right there? Then maybe? But not very likely. Like every single news report from this war, it’s all sensational propaganda. Everything is exaggerated one way or the other.

Not sure of the outcome here. Even if they can get her repaired with patch, it’s a band aid solution. Needs a long term solution that the naval park will likely never be able to afford. Something like an 8 million dollar coffer(spelling?) dam. Or a dry dock for the ships to be moored. It’s a feat of engineering they have survived this long given the brutal weather they endure.

Is DE a draft need? With Von Miller, Boogie, Epenesa, Shaq Lawson and Rousseau I think the position is covered.

Just finished up re-watching the first five seasons. Just in time for season 6. Think I’ll go right into re-watching breaking bad(four the 4th time) after season 6 of BCS ends. Kind of keep it continuous and get the whole experience.

I’d never try under any circumstances. Crossing a one lane road where cars are going 55 is difficult enough. Crossing 3-4 lanes of traffic with cars going 60-70? Nearly impossible. You will never realize how fast cars get to you at that speed until it’s too late.

But in the Bills case they also got lucky that they had the one GM in the league who picked the right Josh. Was it luck or skill, idk. I think very few GMs in the league would have made that same call. In general, I have to agree with the poster who said if teams just had a fan vote those teams would probably do better than the teams that employ scouting departments. It certainly wouldn’t do any worse.

I don’t even think they should get that choice. Want to play in the league? Sign with the team that drafted you or get them to trade you. Otherwise, have fun playing overseas.

I’d like this as an Eagles fan. I feel it’s very likely that 2023rd first ends up being much higher than either of the two picks they gave up. A Sean Payton-less team led by Jameis Winston? I don’t like those odds.
