  1. I count 5 in this graphic alone. And it doesn’t include Houston in 2019.
  2. Or coached his defense to not completely fold in multiple playoff games.
  3. He couldn’t have done this weeks ago? When the DC coaching pool wasn’t razor thin? Thanks bud, one last screw you after all the playoff performances.
  4. It really doesn’t take a genius to come to this conclusion. You really have to offer a professional athlete 10%+ over a Florida team to have them break even by accepting your deal. There’s a reason the majority fleeing NY are higher income earners. I make a small fraction of what Poyer makes and I’ve been seriously considering fleeing NY. When I was making 40k and had a 100k house the state income taxes and property tax savings wasn’t much. Now that I make more than that with a house much more expensive, it starts to make sense to move and save that 4-6% income tax and thousands in property taxes.
  5. 3 years ago this would have got you censored and damn near thrown in jail.
  6. I never, ever understood this. Russel was called old and washed up last season… and that season was light years better than anything Davis Webb could even dream of having produced. He’s also 6 years younger than Russ. If you’re Russ, how do you listen to this guy?
  7. They absolutely would not have made that a penalty if coaches are given the option to challenge anything. See the PI challenge experiment. You would need a missed open field tackle for them to have called a penalty that wasn’t called on the field.
  8. Just to confirm, you have to make 10 years of qualifying payments, correct? So, wouldn’t the loan be completely paid off in many cases anyways? Seems they should look to lower this to 5 years. As it stands, can you really qualify if you make a decent combined income? Or do you have to be on income based repayment to really take advantage of this?
  9. They wouldn’t have. It would have to be beyond obvious. See the pass interference challenge experiment for a real world example of how it would go.
  10. You mean you aren’t satisfied with taking Cody ford over AJ Brown? Lol
  11. I also like the way the XFL allows anything to be challenged. Even penalties that weren’t called that the coach may think was a penalty.
  12. It’s ok… we got Cody Ford so it all worked out.
  13. As long as the playoff defense doesn’t get blown up, I’m fine with a regular season defense that isn’t ranked number 1.
  14. You have a better memory than I do. I’m at remembering about two or three from that list.
  15. Surprised it took this long honestly. How many NFL coordinators/head coaches has this college really had? You’d think that alone would have got you in year one.
  16. Didn’t know any of this! Quite the track record. Reid seems to be an extreme enabler for a lot of terrible people.
  17. I’m not sure this applies to a punter. A QB? Absolutely. A WR? Probably. But a punter? The difference in average punt by 5 yards probably isn’t enough to move the needle in favor of signing someone who is going to come with a ton of negative publicity.
  18. Entertainment. Some people like to look at them.
  19. What is completely idiotic is that these leagues are going to cannabalize each other for the completely mediocre talent they have to choose from in the first place. I don’t know if one of these leagues could have ever succeeded. But TWO competing leagues? Not a snowballs chance.
  20. Jay Z was in the building! Why not convince him to come out for the “we gonna run this town tonight” song.
  21. Same solution I’ve been peddling for years. 1. Everything is challengeable and coaches only get two the entire game. No getting a third if you win two, just two total. 2. Plays are reviewed in real time. If it isn’t obvious in real time, it isn’t obvious. 3. There is a “shot clock” of 2-3 minutes. If there isn’t a reversal by then, the call on the field stands.
