    Drunk and squatting like that, a slight breeze could have knocked her over. He was stupid and it cost him his job. That is very fair retribution. He can take the rest of the year off and think about what he had done. Maybe he won’t do it again. I’m just saying, this is far from an assault that looks prosecutable.

    PRISON! Let’s be a little realistic here. It was investigated and no charges filed. It would be a stretch to even get him on misdemeanor assault for the shove and extremely weak kick. I highly doubt the woman had any injuries.

    New York already takes much more than they should in taxes and gives me very little benefit back. They are just going to squander it anyways, might as well have something tangible in the area to show for it.

    The way I understand it, when a runner is in a pile he is not directly being assisted, so legal play. The foul occurs if the runner is running and someone pushes him from behind to give him an extra burst of speed. Pile= not pushing the runner directly No pile= aiding the runner directly, resulting in a penalty

    Saints look unstoppable this season. They are winning at will.

    IMO ESPN is unwatchable. For NFL coverage NFL network is far superior. For NHL, ESPN is not even in the same stratosphere as NHL network. I don’t watch NBA or MLB, but I imagine NBA and MLB network are better as well. It is no wonder ESPN is hemmoraghing money and losing subscriber base.

    The problem is, they don’t always slide. NFL should make it mandatory for running QB’s to give up slide. Otherwise how can you expect these defenders to know? If he decides not to slide he gets extra yards because you didn’t hit him.
