If Metcalf keeps impressing he might not even last until 9. Gruden taking him wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

This would be incredibly stupid on Paradis’ part. Couple teams in the Bills and Jets with huge cap dollars to spend and a glaring hole at center. Both Paradis and Morse should be paid top dollar. Why return on a one year deal to hopefully get the same deal next offseason that you could take this offseason.

The list of QBs under 6 feet who succeed is definitely “short” I would absolutely love for this to happen. Would make for a super exciting draft. Send the Giants and Jags and maybe Broncos completely scrambling to grab Haskins or Lock.

Definitely. He is probably the best of the worst. I would rather take a shot on a younger guy like Humphries.

It’s always amazed me how they can say so much while in actuality say so little. I really hope McDermott was just blowing smoke here. Croom should be our 3rd TE going into next season. Any higher and it’s a disaster. 1 and 2 should be free agent TE and a drafted TE.

I feel Haskins and Murray will be highly coveted by a decent amount of teams. I think they both go top 11. I believe it’s a reach for both of them, especially Murray. Makes me glad the Bills got in on the QB draft last season. More to the point of the thread. I’m completely fine with Hockenson at 9. I think he will be there, but I don’t think he will be there much longer. I’ve seen a mock have Detroit take him at 8, I don’t believe it. No way that franchise takes a TE in the top 10 again after the Ebron disaster for them.

I am not a fan of any of those trade down names. If those are the options over the 6 “pick at 9” guys, I’m staying put.

Oh I think it will be forever brought up as a punch line. I agree it’ll be a non legal story, Kraft will get a fine from the police and from the NFL. But I know I’ll never see Robert Kraft on TV again without laughing while thinking of this story. I would imagine it’s the same for many football fans.

He will be “suspended” for a few games. Because, you know, it’s detrimental to an owner to have to watch from his mansion as opposed to his owners box.

But, what if that body builder physique comes WITH the quickness to burn? Obviously the combine will tell, but I believe Metcalf is projected to run in the 4.4’s? It’s just too bad he already has the injury history, would have loved to see his stats from a healthy college campaign this season. I usually prefer to stay away from college players who tend to be injured, it rarely seems to improve at the NFL level.

Should be interesting to see Memphis next week with Mettengerger at QB. Been a different offense since he came in. The defense has been solid throughout.

I’m surprised it took this long. That’s what most people don’t realize about this league I feel. The level of competition is often crapped on. But 80% of these guys have had a cup of coffee in the NFL. Take even the best college program, I doubt it’s anywhere close to 80%. IMO The level of competition in this league is not as horrendous as many believe. This is a great way for guys to get a second look from the league.

Speaking of. Gilbert is definitely going to get a look after the season he has had so far.

I’ve enjoyed each week. Looking forward to the NFL Network games tonight. I don’t care if it’s “minor league”, it’s nice having weekend football in February.

I’m super intrigued by DK Metcalf, but believe Nkeal Harry should be the top target. I will not be disappointed with either one.

This doesn’t seem right. Did they really plan on making 250 million opening weekend? Otherwise the cash shortfall makes no sense because it shouldn’t have been planned on in the first place.

I like Kneal Harry the best of the WR group. But would not be angry with Metcalf as the big. Without being injured this season I feel Metcalf would have put up big numbers. You rarely get a receiver with his size and his speed. 6’4 225 is usually a big bodied receiver. Metcalf can do that, and he can also blow past you with 4.4 speed. Rare physical freak combination.
