  1. My absolute favorite weather conditions to watch a game in. Nothing like it.
  2. This is why I wish he didn’t get injured last season. Definitely an enigma at this point. You can’t go by combine numbers alone. We can’t go by 2018-19 college production either. Like you pointed out, his 2017 was nothing special. 12 games 39 receptions. Take away the first game against South Alabama (who?) and he goes down to 11 games and 31 receptions for the season. Had multiple one reception games as well. More to consider though, as a sophomore Julio Jones 13 games, 43 receptions, 4 TDS. Julio broke out his Junior year. DK Metcalf didn’t even get to play his sophomore year, nevertheless his junior year. Metcalf actually outproduced Julio’s sophomore year, and he did it as a freshman.
  3. At this point, with how Metcalf tested out, I have him pencilled into the top 8. That would easily leave Oliver for the Bills at 9 if they want him. I hope they do, I think he can be a difference maker at the NFL level.
  4. I am all aboard the Metcalf train, have been for a while now. That being said, I think I would rather him go to the Jets than a guy like Josh Allen. I would rather game plan to shut down a WR than have our QB get plastered by a formidable pass rush. I feel its easier to double team a Metcalf than it is to keep a RB in the backfield to block Josh Allen from getting to Josh Allen.
  5. I would cry tears of joy if Josh Allen somehow slid down the draft board because people are drafting QB’s and DK Metcalf.
  6. I find it hilarious that Gruden likely takes a pass rusher after trading away the best one in the league. Or a wide receiver, after trading away a darn good one.
  7. Might not be a bad thing given the seeming depth of WR in this draft. If Murray, Bosa, Haskins, Metcalf are locks for 4 of the top 8 picks. That’s going to leave a hell of a player for Buffalo at 9.
  8. With his combine, if he hadn’t been hurt this season and actually put up the numbers, we could be talking about him going first overall.
  9. Holy smokes. Does Metcalf even have a chance to make it to 9 at this point?
  10. And who came to the combine at 207 pounds to show he isn’t small, only to not perform any drills because he couldn’t at that weight ?‍♂️
  11. He has definitely shot up my personal draft board as well.
  12. I kind of hope he goes to the Dolphins and the Bills can muster a pass rush. A good pass rush would destroy statue Rosen twice a year.
  13. If Rosen were waived there would be 31 other teams putting in a claim for him. On a bargain contract for 4 more years. I think he easily fetches a 2nd in a trade. One of Giants, Jaguars, Dolphins, Redskins would be beating down the door at that price. Could also see Saints, Chargers and Patriots strongly interested.
  14. I am also in the Ed Oliver camp. Hopefully available at 9.
  15. Hock ran a 4.71 or 4.76. I forgot exactly which because they were talking about Ertz and Hock. One of those is Hock and one is Ertz.
  16. Really liking Hockenson’s 3 cone time
  17. 4.7’s. For both runs. Not super explosive. But has shown good route running ability. Ertz also ran 4.7’s so I’m not that concerned.
  18. Well, if you want a gamebreaker like Gurley is (was?) then you rarely find one of those in UDFA. IMO this would be a pretty good year for the Rams to try to grab one. They seemingly don’t have a super lot of holes to have to fill through free agency and the draft.
  19. Still want him with that 40 time. Rare combination of a guy who can block, run a good route, and catch anything. Great safety outlet for Allen for years to come.
  20. I would happily take a flier on Johnson in rounds 5-7 even with an injury question.
  21. Great analysis. Kind of where I am as well. Is it extremely uncommon to move on after one year? Sure. But Kingsbury and Heim could have (probably have) had a lot of conversation on this topic. Kingsbury could have an Air raid system he wants to incorporate and views Murray as the best chance to success given the status of the O-line in Arizona. It could all be an elaborate ruse to get someone (Giants, Jags, Raiders) to overpay for first overall. At this point I would say it’s 50/50. Easy to fall in love with Murray as a prospect, especially if he runs in the 4.3’s during his pro-day. Also easy to hate Murray as a prospect. Truly polarizing player.
  22. Wouldn’t be shocked to see the Rams draft a RB in rounds 1-3
  23. I am thinking his absolute top ceiling in trade value would be Miami at 13 or Washington at 15. Either one desperately need a young QB.
  24. If Murray goes first overall this will be an exceptionally entertaining draft. Could have 3 QB’s go top 10 if that happens.
