Sean Payton the legend
PetermansRedemption replied to CommonCents's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m sure Goodell is crying himself to sleep tonight knowing that a head coach disapproves of his job ? I assume he thinks the commissioner should have taken the absolutely unprecedented, and dangerous, step of replaying the game with the no call enforced as a call. -

I was rooting for the Rams. Loved when New Orleans blew it. -
Rob Ryan hired as Redskins LB coach

This is absolutely incredible -
Completely agree. He is not good at all. Sign an UDFA to the practice squad, make Anderson a coach and use the roster spot on special teams. Everyone knows they could use the help.

Bills avoid London in 2019
PetermansRedemption replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ll third this sentiment. I love the London Games and wish there was one on every Sunday of the regular season. Can’t beat a Sunday that goes 9AM London Game, 11:30-ish buffalo kick off live, 12-1 nfl today, 1-4 Bills, 4-8 red zone, 8-11 Sunday night game. -
OT Rule needs to change!

Will be an interesting off season to see if the NFL deems this an issue and addresses it. I know at least one owner will be raising hell about it. -
7th in points allowed this year, but 21st in yards allowed per game. Maybe split the difference and call them an average defense. Welker’s production absolutely tanked after he left New England, Amendola was average with New England and average outside of New England. Edelman we will never know, but I suspect he would be another Wes Walker if he left New England. Hogan was average with Buffalo and still is now. The only true weapon Brady has ever had was Gronk. Brandin Cooks has proven to be a great receiver, both in New England and out of it. Still surprised Bill traded that man. At best, you can say Brady has had an above-average supporting cast over the years. He has elevated them to greatness.

D'Pez Poopsie - RB - Ol Miss

Brady’s O-line is anything but primo. Do we forget how quickly Nate Solder looked like trash without Brady? Brady has an impeccable internal clock that allows him to avoid sacks without being particularly mobile. That makes his O-line look good, not the other way around. He’s never had a top WR, look how great Danny Ammendola produced in Miami without Brady. Brady’s RB’s have rarely been top of the line. Sony Michel could turn into that, or it could be the threat of Brady’s passing game that opens up the run game. A good defense? The past two years the Patriots defense have been anything but top notch. Buffalo bias comes in huge with Brady, I understand that. But try putting it aside for a while and realize the best QB to ever play the game makes all the other facets of the team appear better than they are.

2019 Reese’s Senior Bowl Rosters Announced

I also don’t feel like any of ours are particularly good. Shady is not aging well and gets stopped for a loss a lot, Ivory is the best of the bunch, Murphy showed some bursts but not much else, Ford didn’t impress me at all. -

Simple answer. Go for an extra 15, opposite team receiving the ball for the start of that quarter. If still tied after that quarter, you coin flip again and go for another 15. However, I think the simplest idea that makes the most sense is college overtime rules. Each team gets a possession. If tied each team gets another possession until not tied. The only problem would be where to start the ball. I feel it would have to be around the 40 yard line with his good NFL kickers are. You need the FG to not be an easy one. -
Pretty much exactly where I am at. Wasn’t even rooting against them yesterday. Watching Brady and Belichick work is just poetry in motion. I always say, sit back and enjoy the ride. It isn’t like the Bills have been good at all. So really, if anything, the Patriots dynasty has helped the Bills draft stock each year by handing them two losses ?. Brady will lose it sooner rather than later and the Bills can (hopefully) take the mantle.
