  1. Like I said earlier, I wouldn’t be surprised if AB doesn’t want to go anywhere at this point. I think he wants his outright release from Pitt and nothing else will satisfy him.
  2. What does this even mean? How is Pittsburgh’s owner having it both ways in this situation? He paid out money to Antonio Brown on his word that, you know, he would actually fulfill his contract that he willingly signed.
  3. Expensive? This area isn’t even close to expensive. You can buy a decent home here for 100k, a beautiful one for 350k and a literal mansion for a million (see Brandon Beane’s house). Sure, if you really hunt you can find select markets that are cheaper in the US. The vast majority of US real estate markets are far higher than the Buffalo area.
  4. Is there any way the NFL can push a contract fulfillment clause into the next CBA? Brown is disgruntled and wants more guaranteed money. He must have forgot about the signing bonus he got? Maybe take out signing bonuses from contract negotiations. Make the player actually play for every dime of the contract. It can still be guaranteed for injury. But Pitt is really left holding the bag. They have a worthless asset that they have already paid a ton of guaranteed money to, even if AB doesn’t see it that way.
  5. I don’t think Beane could back track and acquire Brown at this point even for a 7th. First of all, I doubt he would change his mind and come here. Second, it would look really really weak for the organization.
  6. I’m not sure Antonio Brown plans to report anywhere at this point. Maybe New Orleans or New England. If his end game is being released by Pittsburgh then he has played this entire situation perfectly.
  7. Brown has to be absolutely toxic at this point. Steelers are going to have to cut him (probably his end game), make him play, or give him away to the team he wants to go to.
  8. Shouldn’t people be happy that Antonio Brown (theoretically) informed the Bills he didn’t want to play here. He could have accepted the trade and then held out or given half effort.
  9. Because Eli has been a Star these past two years? Or because he’s been playing in warm weather. Plus he has a contract he is satisfied with. I don’t think there’s anyway OBJ doesn’t report somewhere he’s traded to.
  10. Pretty glad about this. Especially if Brown was going to cost significant compensation. He would hold out if he wasn’t the highest paid receiver in the league in a few years. If he isn’t getting enough targets he would complain. If he isn’t winning he would complain. He’s also older as far as receivers go. If the compensation was next to nothing (a 4th or worse) then I’m disappointed because it would have been worth the distraction.
  11. Absolutely, if not more. I was expecting Buffalo would have to make Paradis the highest paid center in the league if they wanted to get him to Buffalo. I’m thinking 12 per for Paradis now.
  12. Beane was absolutely a wizard on that one. And not just any third. The first pick in the round.
  13. What’s hilarious is they will have 40 million invested in basically Case Keenum. Yikes. Edit: looks like he is only going to count 3.5 million? Not a bad deal for what they gave up then.
  14. I thought this was a serious question and I was going to go with none other than Kyle Williams. Seeing the options ? probably Hillary Clinton.
  15. I cannot believe this guy has value beyond a 7th rounder. Good job by the Broncos getting something for him.
  16. Arizona too (ranked a 4), even though they may be actively trying to dump Rosen ?
  17. Usually that is how contracts work, since most are not psychic enough to predict the future ?‍♂️
  18. What does it say about the current state of the Bills WR position that we would actually see a massive improvement if we saw those numbers out of a WR next season.
