My thoughts for this draft as well. Only position I see really good value and a stud player at 9. Especially if the 2 QB’s expected to go top 10, go top 10.

At least at 9 you are probably getting your “pick of the litter” at OL. But I just don’t see any value this year in taking an OL at 9. I would prefer a guy in the 2nd if you want a really good young OL to bring along. This is the same argument I have against a receiver at 9, I just don’t see the value there. If they are going to go OL or WR at 9 they can trade down as many as 10 spots and still get a really good one at either position.

If it takes that to get Williams and Paradis/Morse, I give them each 13 million per. This is pretty much the only way to upgrade the offensive line this off season. Otherwise you are drafting a OL at 9 out of necessity, then still adding a depth OL in round 3-7. And there is still a good possibility your line sucks next season.

I think the cost would be astronomical considering his age and production. I do think he would come here though. I would also bet money the Bills have at least called the Giants about him.

He would cost a ton of money. But it has to go somewhere. If the Bills get turned down by Morse/Paradis and Williams then I would be a fan of over paying Flowers.

Definitely. He has next to no chance of living up to that deal. Ironically his deal just eclipsed Nate Solder, another Brady product.

With Shady’s cap hit, this better be his last year in Buffalo. If they had their eye on a good free agent I’d cut him today. He was horrendous last year. I hated watching him get the ball. I had the same feeling when Tolbert got the ball the year before.

If the Bills are interested he will certainly sign here. Because I doubt anyone else is interested.

Why? Just draft one in round 4-7 or take an UDFA.

How does Frank Gore fit on this team at all? Who is being cut?

I rarely advocate for overpaying in free agency. However, this year, I would have wrote Paradis and Williams a blank check. I would have made them the highest paid players in the NFL at their position if that is what it took to get them to Buffalo.
