  1. I believe if they make Anderson an official coach he is only allowed limited contact with Allen during the off season. He would have to be an independent contractor ala Jordan Palmer, and that is kind of going down a slippery slope considering he was just on the roster.
  2. I’m pretty certain Odells multiple 1000+ receiving yard seasons are what made him a superstar. Guy has put up 1000 yards, at least, in every season. Except two years ago where he was hurt and only played in 4 games. He has 44 TD’s in 5 seasons and that includes his injured season. His numbers speak for themselves, Odell is a superstar with or without the media.
  3. Bingo, we have a winner. Perriman backed out lf his deal signed with the Bucs
  4. I don’t like Anderson at all, but it’s clear this regime does. I have to believe behind the scenes he’s really helping Allen out. So you would be looking at Barkley being cut, which isn’t going to happen after that extension. If they could stash him on the PS I would be all for it. But no way a 4-5 round QB isn’t getting poached. UDFA on the other hand, not a bad idea to have one of those QB’s floating around the PS.
  5. I haven’t thought of it from this angle. Definitely makes the Patriots road a bit tougher. Jets and Bills aren’t 4 easy wins this year. Dolphins will be 2 easy wins, but everyone will be able to take part in that cake.
  6. They just extended Barkley and they still have Anderson on the roster.
  7. As long as it isn’t Morse, I wouldn’t be too shook up. Second would be Brown. I wouldn’t cry at all if it was Beasley or pretty much any of the other FA signings. I don’t see Morse changing his mind from being the highest paid center in the league. Especially when the Chiefs didn’t even want him anymore. I also don’t see Brown going back to a Lamar Jackson led passing “attack”.
  8. Could be eyeing anything at this point. No position would surprise me and no position would disappoint me. Draft day is going to be fun.
  9. Idiot without a doubt. Hitching his wagon to an aging Eli and not drafting Darnold was his first mistake. I don’t care if Saquon is the best running back in NFL history, the positional value just isn’t there. Could have easily took a Sony Michel or Nick Chubb and had Darnold. Trading OBJ was idiotic as well. Their new QB (Haskins?) was plug and play, set up for success with a good RB, WR and TE. Now that WR corps is awfully pedestrian. It can be cliche to say this, but, if he passes on a QB at 6 this year he needs to be fired on the spot.
  10. So, it just so happens that in back to back years the two strongest arms in recent NFL history come out? I doubt it. Allen’s arm was touted as one of, if not the, strongest ever. I highly doubt Tyree Jackson is better.
  11. Everyone should love that signing, except Jets fans. Such a ridiculous overpayment.
  12. No one. But the “deadline” for Bell to sign with the Jets was today. I guess they will rip up that contract offer now and go give the money to no one. They are a joke of an organization with this deadline.
  13. Well, I guess he isn’t signing with the Jets ?
  14. The team has a plethora of draft picks and a solid roster. If they get Bell I still think they are favorites to make the playoffs next season and do some damage. That being said. If the Bills were in that exact position I would be PISSED as a fan.
  15. Rapaport reporting that OBJ wants an alteration to his contract ALA Antonio Brown. Wants to be the highest paid receiver in the NFL
  16. I apparently failed counting ?
  17. ESPECIALLY if he is about to sign with the Jets for, say 13 million per year. Outbid them up to 15 and get a true weapon.
  18. I actually think that’s the reason it’s the perfect time to draft one. We have the WR’s signed where the draft pick doesn’t have to step up and be the #1 right away. He can have a “redshirt” type year playing in 4 and 5 WR sets and ease further into the lineup throughout this year and next.
  19. With who they signed in free agency, I think I would prefer to just draft one high if they want to find a number 1
  20. I would have thought long and hard about giving up 9th overall for OBJ. I probably would have done it.
  21. Really wanted him on the Bills. Hope the browns overpaid so I don’t feel terrible about it.
  22. Unless the contract is something ridiculous (like 4 years, 80 million, fully guaranteed) I want Le’Veon to stay far away from the Jets. No interest in facing him twice a year.
