DirecTv Sunday Ticket- Potential big issues
PetermansRedemption replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This will be a non issue. Your thinking of two completely separate broadcast rights. The only thing that would be blacked out is local games, which were blacked out on DTV Sunday Ticket anyways. That amounts to two or three games a week subject to blackout, which are the two or three carried by your local CBS and FOX affiliates. The remaining games weren’t blacked out then, and will not be now. The local CBS and FOX affiliates only have the rights to air one game locally each at a time. Those will be the ones subject to blackout. -
NFL Network Top 100 Players - total snub?
PetermansRedemption replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Good Morning Football crew have been giving a lot of off season credit to Beane and have some pretty high praise for the team in general. They love Beane, McDermott, Allen, the free agent additions, and the draft picks. Pretty much once a week you can bet on the Bills receiving some high praise from the Good Morning Football crew. Schrager absolutely loved Beane’s “Don’t talk about Buffalo” press conference. -
Teams I expect to be worse this year than last: Dolphins: Did they even make any offseason moves? QB battle between the great Fitzpatrick and Rosen. The latter of which has the designation of being the only top 10 QB in NFL history to be given away after their rookie season. Giants: Gettleman... yikes. Sticking by Eli for one more year? Or go with the top 50 NFL prospect Daniel Jones. Receivers? Who needs receivers, we have Saquon to run and catch the ball! Good thing we took him instead of one of those heralded 2018 QB prospects. Maybe he can throw it to himself? Redskins: Will undoubtedly be starting a rookie QB this year, and we know how those seasons tend to go. Historical trends are not kind. Bengals: AJ Green already fighting the injury plague. Andy “Mr Average” Dalton still at the helm. Banged up OL. Ravens: Worse on D than last year. Starting a RB at QB again this season, and for the entire season. Stop Lamar’s legs and he isn’t going to beat you passing the football. Pull the Tyrod “Make him be a QB” defense out of the playbook.

Cable TV Versus Everything Else
PetermansRedemption replied to Formerly Allan in MD's topic in Off the Wall Archives
This is my issue as well. I tried, but could not find a streaming service that allowed me to have Sabres games on MSG and NFL Red Zone. Sure, I could go with multiple companies, or go with NHL Center Ice package and a VPN. But those aren’t really the solution I am looking for. -
Does anyone know if josh allen is top 100?
PetermansRedemption replied to Lafromboise's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I saw a stat today that Cousins is 5-25 against teams that finish with winning records. That’s horrendous. No idea why he would have been voted top 100, his contract maybe? -
What RB cracks first?
PetermansRedemption replied to Chicharito's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I recall correctly Eckeler has been pretty average to below average when thrusted into the starting rule due to a Gordon injury. -
Astro Notes: Bills Practice 1

I always wait for these to come out and read them through completely. Makes me feel like I’m at Bills camp even though I can’t make it. -

This DIRECTV CBS blackout is starting to get annoying. Luckily I had CBS All Access already for the Twilight Zone. I have been watching my CBS shows on there. -

Bills 2017 Draft - It Might Be Really Good
PetermansRedemption replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is absolutely true, we could have had them. My only problem is, I really would not trust Whaley to make a decision such as that. -

Revisionist history is fun, I wanna play. What if we traded that pick to Houston instead of Kansas City ? we could have had 4th overall in the 2018 draft! -
BBFS - 8 Wins sounds about right to me
PetermansRedemption replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s sad, but I’m with you. BBFS is alive and well. Extra scary this year the Bills could (should?) start 3-0. -
I feel he’s just being petty for no reason. I watched Hard Knocks and sure, Hue sucked as a head coach. Never should have been given the second year. But does Baker assume that’s Hue’s decision to make? It’s not like Hue hired himself. How about just being grateful a team took you first overall. Then, he stares down Hue and trash talks him for going to a “rival team” as if Hue had job offers from 31 teams after being canned from the Browns for being the worst head coach in NFL history. Just a lot of pettiness for no reason.

Reading comprehension I.E the very next sentence after the one you bolded. Also, I consider 2004 to be within the past 15 years ? ? -

Yes, he absolutely has. What’s a better offseason that you can remember in the last 15 years than the two Beane has orchestrated? Prior regimes did not give a bunch of draft picks to go and get their guy, they waited and panicked (Losman) or they reached massively (Manuel). Going up and getting their guy would have been giving up whatever it took to get Rothlisberger rather than panicking and getting Losman. By all reports that’s what happened to Arizona last year as well, how did Rosen work out in their minds? The free agent signings, that’s the nature of the free agent game, you overpay for mediocre talent. Beane identified holes and moved to fill them. What past GM’s have done that? I remember being able to sleep through free agency because you knew the Bills were getting bargain bin trash. In addition to that, most of these contracts are crafted so that the Bills can exit relatively painlessly. How was the Dareus contract structured? Don’t we wish Beane was at the helm during that time. In general, the proof is often in the pudding. For my money, Beane has done his job. He has filled holes as best he can and as economically as available. He has drafted well and is not afraid to go up and grab someone he wants. Give me Beane over A LOT of the GM’s in the league right now (Gettlemen running the Giants anyone?). In addition, even if Allen busts and doesn’t improve any further, he is still the most fun QB we have had the pleasure of watching in a long, long time. -

Unless there a package deal, if the team regresses this year, I would get rid of McDermott before Beane. This team is fairly well constructed. IMO Beane has done pretty darn good as a GM. It isn’t his job to get the talent to play well, it is his job to get the talent. He has done that. -
Biggest Bills Madden Snub?
PetermansRedemption replied to Haplo848's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Madden, while not the best, is light years ahead of their NHL franchise. EA NHL is literally recycled year after year. The best mode they ever had was GM connected and they got rid of it within two years. -
Biggest Bills Madden Snub?

Ranking Tre White as the 19th best corner is borderline criminal. Even the biggest Tre hater can probably agree he’s top 10.
