  1. Never understood why everyone thinks the tuck rule is a Brady protection thing. It was directly in the rule book, in black and white. In fact, I think it was in there until around 2010. It was absolutely the correct ruling on the play. But a lot of people (not saying you, but a lot of people) think it was a rule made out of thin air to protect Brady. Brady’s intention is irrelevant with the interpretation of the rule. The correct interpretation was applied in that scenario.
  2. Rivers looks like such a B word on the field. Talks trash all the time, first to take his helmet off, always looks angry.
  3. Only interesting thing to come out of this game, is it the end of the Trubisky era?
  4. Some of these NFL rules are just stupid. The uncovered on the end of the line ?‍♂️ What is the point of that rule. Just go with high school rules. Eligibility is based on number, that end would never be an eligible receiver, so no need to have him covered. You can still keep the NFL “reporting eligibility” thing. But none of these ticky-tack calls that are pointless like the uncovered at the end of the line.
  5. Trubisky and Goff are completely average (or below average) QB’s.
  6. Have you watched Baltimore play lately? Sure, they could come out and lay an egg, that is always possible. Barring that, they are going to toast the Bills. The Bills have had troubles stopping the run, Lamar is probably the best runner in the NFL at this point. It just so happens he is a decently efficient passer as well. Oh, and they have a guy named Ingram who is also a pretty darn good running back. In addition to that, they have a solid defense. Just a bad matchup all around. I have a very difficult time seeing the Bills coming out with a W. For my money, the Ravens are the best team in the NFL this season.
  7. I don’t get the Duke Williams inactive either. He comes in his first game and plays like 60% (maybe even more) of the snaps. Then disappears because he becomes inactive. Weird situation in my opinion.
  8. Allowed 12 points in both those games too. Super impressive.
  9. I did not see Denver’s performance coming. Denver taking a 17-0 lead on the Vikings
  10. What’s worse is the Bills had a need at TE and passed on him ?‍♂️. Two hometown players (or at least big Buffalo ties) in recent memory that ended up being phenomenal. Mack and Gronk. Should have had them both.
  11. Disgusting Bills fact. Scott Chandler led the team in receiving yards in 2013 ?‍♂️
  12. Idk about that. How much of a different culture is it really? That big of a difference between 3-13 and 1-15? Other than losing the draft position. And does Miami even have anyone left they care about keeping? These guys are backups on most other NFL teams.
  13. I was thinking about this when he was talking up Sherman for “breaking up” a pass to Metcalf. Clearly pass interference and wasn’t called.
  14. I wanted him to take the job. That Haushka extension was always idiotic. He’s a kicker, he isn’t going anywhere. Dime a dozen. Not like another team was going to overpay for his services. Then it takes me back to the Rex days when he kept TWO kickers and a punter ?‍♂️
  15. That was one of the strangest sequences I’ve ever seen.
  16. Still shocked McLaughlin didn’t get an extended look to actually win the job in the preseason. The timing of Hauschka’s extension was always suspect to me. Why not wait until you see him this season. He’s a kicker, he wasn’t going anywhere unless you let him walk.
  17. Who? Does he have a Bills connection I should remember?
