Week 14 Gameday Bills at Buccaneers Postgame thread
CaliBills replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
you are exhausting with your view on McD. He literally coached this team to the playoffs multiple years and an AFC Championship in just a few years compared to many coaches out there. Guess you wanted one of our past HC's to still be here? maybe rex? maybe Dick Jauron? Maybe Gregg Williams? So yeah, lets get rid of them for an up and down year after going to the AFC Championship. He will adjust if this year doesn't pan out. Give your stupid hot take a rest and go outside for a walk..... -

See a LOT of bad takes in this thread but that is expected after a loss. How bout some of you sign off, go hang out with a significant other or friend or something, and just not think about a game. Let me repeat it, a GAME.. -
Better off sitting Edmunds this week and letting him get healthier

NFL Trade Deadline: The Bills Trade Rumors Thread
CaliBills replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
just a thought. Considering the talk of Trubisky possibly being traded. I believe Henry's injury this past Sunday had a significant impact on talks inside the building. The what-if's and if we had to have a backup QB step in, who would we rather have in there, Mitch or our other options. Which possibly lead to Beane asking for a lot for our backup QB. Like, yeah we are always listening but if you want us to separate from our safety net then you will have to pay the price for it. Like i said, just a thought -
Have a feeling he will struggle against McDermott's zone's and if he is holding the ball too long, I expect more pressure/sacks this game.

Records against winning records/losing records mean little until the end of the season. KC goes on a run and ends with a winning record then we are 1-2 Titans go on a losing spree and we are 5-1 against teams with losing records. Stats are funny like that, easy to find agendas in a small sample size

Beane's Draft Picks: Is Allen His Only Success?
CaliBills replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
I find it interesting on trying to say if a draft pick is successful or not. Because in my opinion, it depends on the method on which a GM drafts players. Some GMs look for the most "NFL ready" players. While Beane looks at ability/size and says "I trust our coaches to bring out the best and teach them" which I am sure is the fundamental agreement between Beane and McDermott. If the coaches do their jobs, then these draft picks can become something special. Examples: Knox, Edmunds, Allen, Rousseau, Spencer Brown Then they sign vets that are proven to help develop those players along as well. Success vs Failure is not just a 1 person thing. It falls on GM/HC/OC/DC/Assistants/Teammates/Executives/Scouts/hell maybe even the ball boys or equipment managers lol.
