According to the suit, police helped the teen call the other players and Araiza to confirm the incident. During the taped phone call, Araiza told the young woman that he had tested positive for chlamydia, and asked her to get tested.

He then said, “So you know what to get tested for Ok, that makes me feel a bit better.”

    Disregard, someone posted and clarified.

Shiet, keeping up with this post is too much.  Time to drink my afternoon coffee and get ready for the game.

to be perfectly honest 2bd has been my focus. I'll look into it though. I know some SDSU alums  I could ask. I would think people are kind of like we here. Basically shocked and none too thrilled. It's  a terrible story by any account Ive heard ya know?

    m

I work with a few SDSU Alum's as well (Live in SD myself) and actually did discuss it.

They think it is horrible but due process still has to occur.

They both believe it looks really bad for SDSU.

Oh and neither are Bills fans by any means. Charger fans to be exact.

Araiza's lawyer, although if true, it's not clear that the NFL informed the teams.

So far I would suggest checking Tim Graham and John Wawrow twitter feed for the most effective and thorough "Bills Beat" coverage, and Times of San Diego for the most effective newspaper coverage - they seem to be providing primary source links to the actual text of the lawsuit, actual text of the university statements, etc.

I personally do not believe that lawyer for a second.

    Neither the victim's lawyer.

They both reek of rotten fish from being a shark in the water.

    Agree.

Hot take:  Daboll was comfortable running Josh to help his (Daboll's) career.  Pegs/Beane want a 10+ year career out of Josh so less running and leaping.  Nothing against Josh exploiting the obvious gaping holes.

Agreed - and it was his own fault there was also a lack of run game.

Also think Daboll was limited in his ability to install a good run game and blocking scheme, and I believe he kept Bobby Johnson around though the O-line overall was not performing up to standards.

Dorsey will have the advantage of having Kromer as his O-Line coach and I believe it will pay significant dividends

  5. My two cents...

I know it falls on Beane ultimately, but there was major input from the O-Line coach at the time, scouts, etc.   Now do I think Kromer recommends drafting cement feet with short arms, no, I think he wants someone more athletic.

It is the whole trust your staff to help you make the best decision.

  6. As someone that lost his younger brother last year at the age of 35 yrs old.  My heart aches for the Knox family.

Their faith and family will help them get through this time of mourning and grief and I can only hope they have some sense of closure when the time is right.

I haven't played Madden since the Donovan McNabb cover which I think was like 2004.

I've heard chatter that Madden has gotten worse.  What's the issues with the game now?

I tried playing it last year ( it was included in Xbox live subscription) and just felt it is too robotic and too many micro transactions.

They are saying it is a football simulator then make movement and stuff too scripted.

It’s quite humorous that you — with your techniques of outright dismissal, arrogance, know-it-all-ism, putting words in other people’s mouths, and frequent moving of the goal posts — would ever pretend to be the authority on adult conversation.

With regard to earning respect on this board, I think my reputation points (especially relative to my overall post count) compared to yours — and in 15 or so less years of membership — speaks volumes.

As for earning YOUR respect? Couldn’t care less. You’ve made it abundantly clear that you’ll always be rude and dismissive to me and attack me personally no matter what.

Just put him on ignore as he obviously thinks he is the smartest person in the room but is far from it.

Please feel free to point out where I said that the Bills made similar investments in improving their offensive personnel as they did their defensive personnel. You can't, because I didn't say it.

You don't get to accuse ME of mis-remembering or selectively remembering history and your opinions, as you have in the past, only to turn around and make up things that I never said just to further your agenda.

I had to just put some folks on ignore..  not worth the effort and time.

I played football as well and it makes you dizzy.

I won't even cut my grass right now because at 40, I could die.  It was 87 degrees at 10:30 last night.

Hence why I do not live in FL anymore.  I am 40 as well and F that heat.  When i go visit family in FL, I am always reminded of why I won't live there again.

Make the Bills have camp in Atlanta….definitely will puke.

I can say without a doubt, playing football in weather like that (played Football 10 years in FL), can make you puke and worse, dry heave.
