  1. Its hard not to love this guys motor, he hits and is a tackling machine, but in terms of football smarts, he is killing us. -kicking the football -Taking the ball away from kick returners and returning it himself -2 personal fouls in the first 15 minutes (even if one wasn't deserved, it still happened) -Fumbling the ball out of the end zone. It was this last play that really, to me, exposes his greatest weakness. On that play he reached backwards with the ball in an attempt to break the plane of the goalline stretching the ball into the air. As he was doing it, he gets hit and fumbles away the game. If he had simply gone down and let the offense back on the field, the play COULD NOT have been reviewed, because the Pats were out of challenges. The part of the play that annoyed me the most was him getting up and celebrating even after he saw that the ball had crossed the end line. Was he celebrating the fact that the Pat's were getting the ball back? NO. He was celebrating the fact that HE got a fumble recovery for his stats. I just don't see a smart player in that situation taking the risk of stretching for the end zone, backwards, with the ball now on the three and your team down by 7. Each one of the four points above show us (week-to-week) how the came to London, is about London, not his team.
  2. This is EXACTLY what I was gonna say!!!!
  3. SHE jumped on the hood of his car while the car was in drive, but simply coasting at idle speed. She then tried to sue him for millions for injuries and the case was thrown out of court. I wouldn't apologize either. As for Moss. I even love seeing clips of his days at Marshall. He was making those same acrobatic catches there. Anything thrown his way was in caught.

  5. THAT WAS AWESOME!!!! The whole video was great. Thanks for posting that.
  6. LIstening to the afternoon show further solidifies my arguement about the pathetic morning show. In one hour I've heard a discussion of the whole league, How good are the Bills in comparison to how well their competion has played etc. The morning show at WGR is like Freshman football compared to Varisty, yet pathetically they still play them on the air.
  7. I too enjoy the other shows on the station. But again my complaint is not them ONLY talking about the Bills, They aren't! All they are talking... Arguing about is benching Bledsoe and Playing Matthews in the morning. Hell, there was a bye week and they picked up today right where they left off Friday as if the Bills had played and lost again.
  8. While this may be true for the most part, on game day, I see people discussing other games, the players in those games, hell even baseball. WGR in the morning for the past week has been ONE topic, all the time!
  9. In Buffalo, we are in a sports talk/programming vacuum. Compare 5 years ago to today. Did you think it could have gotten THIS bad?? I'm acually rooting for one those Fox sports outlets to move in here if Empire is going to continue to fall apart. They only have at this point an hour and a half of live programming a day (not including the SimonCast which he pays for himself).
  10. It goes beyond not knowing waht they are talking about. THEY DON"T TALK ABOUT ANYTHING!!!! Do these guys have compromising pictures of the radio station GM? How do they keep their jobs with such a TERRIBLE show. I actually hear Schoop and Bulldog rip on the morning show on the air.
  11. I am DESPERATE for real sports talk. Listening to WGR in the morning has become painful. Since LAST MONDAY(!!!!!) all they have been having is this same argument: Kevin: Bledsoe's our best shot at winning Puff: Put in Matthews Kevin: You're nuts Puff PuFF: Put in Mathews. Now to our special guest from ESPN Sean Salsbury: Should we bench Bledsoe and start Shane Matthews? Sean Salsbury: Thats it!!! Thats all they have been saying. Every time I turn on the radio as I'm getting dressed, driving to work, whatever, the same agrument for over a week!!!! There were what, 10 footabll games yesterday, a great quarterback shootout, a game in a hurricane, Jamal Lewis almost running for 200 again, did I hear ANY of this talked about....NO!!!!!! Just Kevin: Bledsoe's our best shot at winning Puff: Put in Matthews Kevin: You're nuts Puff PuFF: Put in Mathews. If the people from that station actually do read this board, YOUR MORNING SHOW SUCKS!!!!!!!
  12. Shaw: What do you see in the clouds Drew? Drew: I see an offensive line........ or..... cotton balls.
  13. Shaw: What do you see in the clouds Drew? Drew: I see an offensive line........ or..... cotton balls.
  14. I've enjoyed the play by play, but being able to watch the game and "turn the volume down" and listen to the radio call has been impossible, the TV and radio are out of sink by almost 5 seconds. Yesterday I was hearing the call of the tackle before the ball was even snapped. I don't ever remember it being so bad.
  15. The coolest car I ever drove is the one that I brought to work today, 1969 Red, chrome bumbered, 350 hp, Corvette convertible. The only TRUE American sports car! B)
  16. I saw the picture of Lisa, but the caption said R. Rich was in it too, but I only see Leon Seals. Whats the deal???
  17. Hey steve, That picture of Lindell in your avatar bears a striking reseblence to the OLD pervert that used to grace that spot in your profile. (The cameras under the desk pervert for those of you who don't remeber). Coincidence???? Are they one in the same????
  18. AAAHHHHH!!!!! God Damn it I looked at Poojer's profile and forgot that the picture was there. Now that's burned into my brain for the rest of the day. stevestojan!!!!!
  19. This loser has purchased all available seasons of the Simpson's on DVD and all the commercials that originally aired are there, but in 3D.
  20. I didn't get to meet you, but I got to hear you on the radio!!! Great job! Hope to meet you next time.
  21. I want to support the "free stevestojan" campaign, I really do, but I no longer feel that in good conscience I can. I finally have trained all the people in my (real) life what I mean when I say stevestojan in conversation. They just couldn't handle the confusion if a new filter was created.

  23. The blood can't be that bad, they brought him into training camp as a "kicking consultant". However I heard Paul Hamilton say last night that the injury he had to his back last year has pretty much ended his career.
  24. This is going to sound lame, but its true. I was walking the dog last night and saw a shooting star. My first thought was that I get to make a wish. At the time I couldn't think of anything to wish for so I thought to myself that I could save it for later. I would have never thought of it agan if I hadn't seen this thread. I'm sending the wish your way to use as you see fit. My thoughts are with you.
  25. Drew has been talking up how much he appreciated Travis being there (even after the injury) to help him with preperation, game planning etc. Does this mean Travis is gone, not allowed in the "office" any more?
