  1. THis was a fun one. -Went to a coworkers PC and did a Print Screen from his desktop, this copies a picture of the desktop. -I then pasted the image into word and then saved the image. -Took all of his desktop icons and put them into a folder in his My Docs folder. - Then made his wallpaper the picture of his desktop. It was a hell of a lot of fun watching him double clicking, trying to drag and such and nothing was happening.
  2. Your posts are making you sound like an idiot. Numerous media reports have stated the the charities in SE Asia have MORE money than they know what to do with right now (or can spend). As a matter of fact, Doctors without Borders has asked that people NO LONGER send them money earmarked specifically for the Tsunami, because they have received more for that effort than they can spend. They have asked for general donations only that DWBs can earmark as they see fit. I personally after the Tsunami made a donation to my LOCAL United Way because of a report that due to the massive outpouring or funds to Tsunami relief contributions to local charities have ground to a halt. Think before you post!!!
  3. For better or worse, free speech means we have to allow everyone to "speek" whether we agree with them or not. We could form a group called "KKK are A$$Holes" and sponser the stretch of road right before or after theirs.
  4. There is NO way that the production Wiley has put up the past couple of years warrents him demanding a big money contract. He will end up signing in the mid to low range of free agent contracts.
  5. A Star Fish (they are now refered to as sea stars, because they are not really fish) can have a leg cut off and regenerate a new one. If the leg is cut off with some of the body attached, it will grow a new BODY with 4 more legs. Complete regerneration time in both situations is about 5 years. They can live to be 50 years old. (Had a sleepover at the Aquarium in Niagara Falls last weekend with my son and his Cub Scout pack.)
  6. I'm looking forward to one of the fine upstanding citizens of Syracuse tracking this scumbag down and "reminding" him that it is a good idea to be charitable once in a while
  7. Good to hear from you Jay! The more i think about it, the more I like the idea of building a team around these three young studs (McGahee, JP and Evans) NOW! I guess the question I keep asking myself is what upside does Drew give me that merits him starting for another year over our (possible) franchise QB of the future. Bledsoe only seems to be good for handing off and the long throw. Rubeo is right, his short passing game is just terrible. Bounce passes, overthrown screens, passes behind receivers... These things more than anything else Drew does are killing us. It think JP can be taught to play a "safe" game as his skills are further developed.
  8. A well prepared and thought provoking response.
  9. When Tops was bought by that Dutch (?) company (Ahold limited I think) it was all down hill for them. Their stores are so sterile feeling. Its like being in a Hospital corridor and no one (who works there) seems too happy to be there. One thing I've noticed about Wegmans v. Tops. The Brown and Orange tones inside Wegmans give it a very "warm" feeling. At tops, its white tile floors and white florescent light. A very cold feeling. That may seem insignificant, but I don't mind being in Wegmans, where as Tops, I really feel like I want to get out of there as quickly as possible.
  10. It is not, and that probably is what creates such a great relationship between the employees and ownership. I worked at Wegman's (Dick Road in Buffalo) growing up and loved it. They paid HALF of my college (Buffalo State) tuition with their scholarship program and I had health insurance and paid vacation time... All as a part timer. The people I knew who worked at Tops as part timers paid Union dues and because they were part time STILL had to pay extra if they wanted insurance. Congratualations Wegman's. They've been working their way up the top 10 list for a few years.

  16. Great post Rudy! I share that same "secret pride". People around me know I love the Bills, but they don't know HOW much. Its been nice in the past couple of weeks having people call and talk about how great the team is playing. I hope to hell I'm still watching a Bills game next weekend. I don't want the ride to end.
