  1. This is true, but I do remember that i used to be able to listen to Van and watch the game on TV. Maybe its worse for me because I have DirecTv. I don't even here the radio spots encouraging people to "turn down the sound" anymore, so they must be aware of the difficulty people face.
  2. But Cindy, you can't! As I said above, the TV and Radio synch are off (or were last saturday) by over 10 seconds. On one play, the radio had already run a play and the TV was still on a commercial break.
  3. To tell the truth, I enjoy him as a color man on regular season broadcasts, Play-by-play is a different world however and its easy to see why he may struggle at it. What sucks is you can't "turn down the sound" and put on the radio because (at least on Saturday Night) there was MORE than a 10 second difference between the radio and TV. Don't you all think that the radio feed losses a lot of listeners due to this huge discrepency. Does anyone know why they don't try to sych up better???
  4. COOL!!!.... I mean the TV part, not the Tasker part.
  5. IS this level of venom necessary. Hell, talking about something you find trivial doesn't necessarily make someone a douce bag! I'm sure as former HIGH SCHOOL football player your opinion and experience blows away anything that any of us may have, does that make US Douche bags as well???
  6. When Brad and Jeremy were together, they made a great team, they played of each other very well. That said, the people who listen to Howard, DO NOT want to have to listen to Jeremy's shtick on the show. They are like oil and water and this is one of those circumstances where the counter-personalities are not a good thing. Jeremy alone causes me to turn off Howards show many morning. For Brad.... its that stupid Lamar thing he does. Last night it was at least 3-4 minutes of that thing singing. In radio time 3-4 minutes is a lifetime, I turned off after that time and the radio never went back on. Had it not been for "lamar" I probably would have had his show on until 10.
  7. I heard reports on the radio that Haddad was taking snaps as the number 3 receiver with the first teamm offense yesterday. I personally think that the guy deserve a chance to prove himself as a possession receiver.
  8. #6- Announce that you just quit smoking weed 15 days ago and your really having a hard time dealing with unblurred reality.
  9. In other news, war supporting conservative Christians under the vail of night then stole the crosses and set them up on their church lawn to protest the murder of innocent abortion vicitms. No word on whether or not the guy with the truck has any issue with the crosses being used there instead.
  10. 34. "Oh, you look fine, we're just going to my mom's house for dinner, she doesn't see that well anyway"
  11. Apparently she thinks someone is so vain, but refuses to devuldge whom it is.
  12. 58. "Wow this has been great, no I really mean it, you're really special....I think I'm falling IN LOVE with you!!!!"
  13. I have to admit that I was pretty scared when Willis went hobling off the field I ran the play back on slo mo on my TIVO a number of times, and it was clear that he was hit on the outside of his right knee and that it buckled from he force quite substantially to the inside. I was thinking the worst, and was quite happy to see him return for another drive and have a nice run ta boot.
  14. Do the undrafted free agents who attend training camp get paid while they are there. I am sure they are somehow compensated, but how?
  15. Considering that this is just a scrimmage, I would venture to guess that there will not be live radio coverage.
  16. Nice! But a lesson...never send stickers in the mail!!!...... I mean cash.
  17. Peace to Hunter and strength to his family.
  18. This may be right on...the Winslow part. Was it Kijana Carter that the Bengals drafted first overall and he never made a full season.
  19. Bills get DT Corey Simon Eagles get bills 3rd rounder and Flyers get Martin Biron.
  20. Denver took the risk that his injuries were a thing of the past, it doesn't appear so. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-b...ov=ap&type=lgns Out 6-8 weeks. This guy was a major talent and injuries will completely rob him of ever having a chance to be a great player. Think of some of the others who "could have been great", but basically never had a career because of injury. Steve Entman(?) in Indianaopilis is another example.
  21. FYI Mammoth offensive tackle Jonas Jennings was held out of practice Wednesday due to a finger injury. The injury is not considered serious, although Jennings did undergo an MRI exam as a precautionary measure, according to the San Jose Mercury News. Jennings was the Niners' prize free agency signing back in March.
