I think Nick's Big News was he and Brad being gone from WECK. I heard from a birdy that WECK decided it would be cheaper to simply carry music and decided to change direction. Smart move, you know everyone looking for music is tuning to low-powered AM radio for their fix. Maybe the goal is to bring back their original 75-99 age bracket demographic. You know, the big spenders.

This is a sad day for local radio. The only talk alternative we had to WGR550 is gone. He's almost 4.... I exaggerate saying he won't retrieve, it more that once picked up he has no plans to GIVE the ball/stick whatever to me. He comes near and runs away each time I reach for the item. If I do get ahold he thinks its a tug of war.... damned dog.

BUt this is not just the same "style", it is the same commercial with a different product inserted into the "insert product name" here slot. I don't really care, but keep seeing the commercial every morning...

If you live here in Buffalo you may have seen these commercials. They are almost a word for word rip off of the Dos Equis commercials. Even ending with "Shop Easy my Friends". Don't you think that the company that spend millions on an advertising campaign would be pissed at some other company ripping it off "note for note"? And don't you think the local TV stations running the add face a problem for running them as well? Here is an example.... there are a few others

Bob Sanders is a sad example of a great player whose body cannot handle the requirements of being an NFL player. He is a small framed man who has put on tremendous amounts of muscle. His tendons are just not designed or strong enough to support that muscle. If I am correct, his injuries have all been torn muscle, torn tendon related. The problem is if he gets "smaller" he is no longer the all-pro that he is.
