Got some speed this weekend as mentioned but just about everybody on this offense already runs a 4.5 or lower. That's not slow. Tyreek Hill is a unicorn, he's hard to duplicate, but having 5-6 guys on offense that can run sub 4.5 isn't awful by any means. You're missing some guys too - Stevenson ran a 4.45 and that was considered poor for him, and he blew away the 3-cone drill. Was surprised to find out that even Kumerow runs 4.5. Howard runs a 4.58. We've got a ton of guys with decent speed, I don't really see the issue.

My first thought. Was it boring or just a completely different draft considering the lack of QBs?

Going 5th in most mocks. We've got enough sixers to get it done. Moving up late in the draft for a punter would be something.

Rd 3, Pick 89 (25): LB Terrell Bernard, Baylor
Nelius replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still available as well. Crowder on the other hand also had interest from the Browns and 49ers at least and easily would have had a home by now, and yet this dude is acting like the Bills gave him the league minimum 2 months after free agency started. -

Despite the fact that this is its entirety is presented like the rant of a 15 year old, I'll highlight this because it's where things really went off the rails. Crowder is a tough, 28 year old target machine. Fantastic route runner. You either need to be trolling or opening your first pack of football cards to think that 33 year old, half-broken Cole Beasley is going to produce more than Jamison Crowder on the same field with Josh Allen in 2022. -
They seem to be strangely focused on the run game yet I also remember them ignoring Aaron Jones at many important times last year as a fantasy owner. It's almost like they're building as if Dillon is going to be the second coming of Derrick Henry. I'm not sold, his ypc dropped last year and he lacks Henry's strength and stiffarm reach.

Or double down, he's still available. A second round or later Breece Hall is much more interesting.

Love the player but you honestly might see him fade. Philly is such a weird team with so many mouths on offense that put up below average numbers. And they've burned through so many WR picks the last few years - Reagor's a bust, Arcega-Whiteside is trying to be a TE now, we'll see about DeVonta Smith still. They either can't develop or just have terrible luck. Be he struggles for 800 yards.

I'm sure it's been said dozens of times in various thread but I just can't comprehend what the Packers are doing. They're really going into the year with Allen Lazard and Sammy Watkins as their top wideout options? During their legendary QB's final run? It just defies logic. Then you add the spice of the completely wasted Jordan Love pick and the fact that they haven't tried to move him yet. Just a weird team, they deserve all the ridicule they're getting.

I actually just read that "Tommy Doyle needs competition" as justification for holding on to the 4th round pick... Gonna go wash my eyes and down about 8 more beers. There will be trainwreck, look-at-me takes, regardless of the pick. We filled a huge need. On to tomorrow.

I can only assume it was sarcasm?

Predict which/how many teams from the AFC West make the playoffs?
Nelius replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
Two - Chargers and Raiders are my pick, but KC would be the third Raiders scare me a bit with that pass rush. Crosby was an A+ draft pick. Late 4th round becoming one of the most feared pass rushers in the NFL, paired with Chandler Jones is nasty. Oh yeah, Davante Adams. Carr isn't Josh Allen but he's still regularly slept on. They have a lot of the right pieces. I find the Broncos love this offseason gross and it's nice to see that people have seemingly come to their senses in this thread. Nate Hackett and old Russell Wilson are going to just easily defeat the Chargers, Chiefs, and Raiders? Everybody talks about how loaded the Broncos are but how about how loaded the Chargers and Raiders are? And the Chiefs still have Mahomes and mutant Kelce. Donkeys may win less than 8 games, banking it here in this prediction thread. -
Fan Duel ranks the top 10 pro athletes in NY
Nelius replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
He won Finals MVP twice and both Klay and Draymond have multiple videos that you can view online right now calling him "our best player". They give the Finals MVP to anybody just pitching in? I just thought the Eichel comparison was weird but now you're acting like sixth man Durant came off the bench for 8 points a game and was gifted a couple rings. -

Except Durant led teams to two rings...and around we go. Lol. If your argument is truly comparing perceived baby qualities then I'll let you have it, but you're not framing it very well -

Yeah you keep repeating ridiculous things, which I'm questioning. I can even sense the backpedaling. You don't like Durant, okay, but he has rings and hardware that you're now dismissing which is just silly. Call him a baby fine, but he's a decorated baby whereas Eichel has done nothing. I mean it's not like I'm arguing Durant vs. Michael Jordan. You compared him to Jack Eichel! Lol just insane Also wasn't the star on the those teams? The league collectively considers KD to be the best in the league. In what alternate universe did you ever see KD as a 2 or 3 on any team? This is poor trolling at best I think -

What in the world is this? Durant has 2 rings and has led 3 separate teams at this point. I understand disliking him, but he's objectively a proven legend compared to Eichel. Very weird comparison. -
Top 10 Herd Hierarchy following Free Agency
Nelius replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess, but everybody touting them as SB contenders seems to be dismissing the fact that they don't have a can't miss, guaranteed offensive weapon like we do with Diggs for example. They just got rid of Fant who was their offensive centerpiece for years. Jeudy took a step back last year. Javonte Williams looks good but only has a single season in a shared system. Etc. There could be a lot of disappointment in Denver this year is all I'm saying. They look great on paper but there are way too many questions to crown them champs of that absolutely loaded division. -
Top 10 Herd Hierarchy following Free Agency
Nelius replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like it. Kind of a weird segment that doesn't allow for much analysis, it all seems rushed. Am I the only one that's blown away by this insane Broncos love though? Number two in the AFC, what? That's not the first time I've seen this. So people think the Bills will be playing Denver of all teams in the AFC Championship? Nate Hackett led Denver, huh. I just don't get it. I've got them 4th in that division. -
Ehhhh here's hoping and it would be fantastic if this turns out to be true, but when you have a generational talent like Allen at QB you invest in the most advanced weaponry year after year. If Josh throws for 7,000 yards this year and every single one of our receivers has a career year you still go get another, brand new WR or TE next year. I'm still thinking WR in the 1st, definitely one before the second round ends.

Dwayne Haskins killed [Edit: struck by vehicle]
Nelius replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Man this is awful. Prayers for his family. What I find pretty frustrating, to put it mildly, about the whole Gil Brandt thing and similar takes like it is that it seems to ignore at least the past year of Haskins still very young career. Yeah, he had some very obvious hiccups with Washington, but he then managed to stick in the league with Pittsburgh for over a year and was down there practicing with teammates who clearly loved him. Seemed he was on the upswing and may have at least found a place as a competent backup with upside. Way too much negative chatter out there about his very young career considering he was still an NFL quarterback that seemed to be comfortably progressing. -
I don't see us moving up much for CB with this team's ability to develop defensive backs. They could take 3 starting in Round 4 and make something out of it. Moving up for offense, so WR since it's the 1st, or just a couple of spots for CB makes the most sense. I'm buying into the Jameson Williams chatter, I really think they go WR in the 1st. Does the Will Fuller comparison come with the PEDs? I'll take a healthy, hulked up Will Fuller streaking down the sideline. You can't get that nowadays with the real Will Fuller of course. Shenault is broken or too slow for the NFL, there's a reason beyond Jacksonville's ineptitude that there's no real interest from anybody.

The Buffalo Bills are the best team in the NFL
Nelius replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Denver-based and watched them more than any team than the Bills. I respectfully disagree. Jeudy took a step back last year and looked kind of lost at times, Tim Patrick is just a guy. Sutton is nice granted but they also lost Noah Fant who was supposed to be their offensive future just two seasons ago. I don't think they're primed and ready, I think they have tons of guys that need to prove themselves and they could easily be as mediocre as it gets. They don't have the same roster on paper as LA, KC, or even Vegas in my opinion.
