  1. I think there are just some extremely shell-shocked individuals on this board. Not trolls necessarily, but some that seem so disillusioned from years of poor play that all they can now manage is a grunt and slight headshake of approval even during the best of times. It can be annoying but maybe they'll burst into uncontrollable sobbing or something if the Bills finally win a ring.
  2. Dolphins lol, try harder contrarians. Tua is maybe 1/5th of Josh Allen and will not ever get close to a ring, get real. I can entertain the Colts or even the Bengals, but not the Fins barely getting by the Jets, Giants, and the Ian Book led Saints - quite possibly the three all around worst teams in the league right now outside of Jacksonville.
  3. Ha was just going to ask if there are any legitimate non-trolls still on the fence about Allen. I mean even if they are it means nothing, the numbers don’t lie. He’s not just a true #1 that absolutely has the “it” factor, he’s also doing historical things.
  4. Ha think I definitely heard Diggs telling off a Pats fan before they cut the audio. Loving the Diggs is out of sync and/or washed takes, wonder if we’ll see any more of that nonsense.
  5. Just delay the season, this is beyond ridiculous. Saints are gonna have Kamara tossing the ball to himself like a lonely kid in a parking lot.
  6. I don't understand Allen at all but I'm even more confused by Dawkins. Obviously rooting for the guy to be Pro Bowl caliber but I thought he's looked awful this year, just not right, as if he's either injured/sick or out of shape or even both.
  7. Bummer for Godwin, I'm a fan and he was really putting up some numbers the past few weeks. This syncs with AB's return so I can almost guarantee we see an Antonio Brown explosion in the coming weeks. How can we make Tampa Bay even more unlikeable? Oh I know, a Brady to AB connection throughout the playoffs.
  8. Sucks and I hope Cole comes out of it just fine, but let's be honest, I'm not having much difficulty envisioning Kumerow or somebody else matching his recent production. It hurts our depth obviously, and Beasley is somebody you've always got to think about, but with the emergence of Knox and Davis he's hardly been the factor that he was last year. I'd almost prefer to see Kumerow or Hodgins' height just to mix it up a bit. Kumerow is 6'4" by the way?! Since when. More of him then please.
  9. 1.) Obada, get it out of the way. How can you not, and I hope it continues. We saw an earlier flash from Epenesa and he disappeared, but maybe this is different, and of course I'm rooting for the idea that this d-line is learning to dial it up. If they don't sack Mac Jones once next week then fire everybody involved, considering the investment. 2.) Not a surprising take whatsoever as many have been saying it for weeks - Gabe Davis might be a legit #2 and he deserves 8+ targets because of it. No more 3 target Gabe Davis - great hands, great size, great understanding of the game. He's the real #2, now get him the ball. 3.) If you work on #2 more then I think it opens up Diggs more. Diggs is still one of the best in the league. He quietly hit 1,000 again today like nothing. I want to see that 15 reception 200 yard Diggs game down the stretch, or in the playoffs. It can be done, they're already working Knox so perhaps Davis is the key. Fear of Davis + Knox = Diggs going off? I still think a classic Diggs blow up is the key to scaring the s*** out of the rest of the AFC.
  10. Right there with you, it was clear that Devin has been the best back. He looks a step quicker (for Motor) and extremely decisive out there. Shifty. He's not perfect but he's very good and getting slightly better in a lot of different ways year-over-year it seems. Problem is a lot of AFC teams have +1.5 or so Motor's on their roster so I still want to see this team invest heavily in a back next year. Henry, Taylor, Chubb, Mixon, now NE with Stevenson...the balance is shifting a bit and we're going to need a top-15 RB performance regularly to really make a statement I think. We already know our QB is better, but the AFC has been adapting to Baltimore for years, and you can't get by with middling RB play. Singletary has earned his place. Moss is so sadly disappointing I'm afraid, so a huge need right now is somebody who's at good as Motor at least, but ideally is clearly much better.
  11. Josh is having another top tier season. You'd think it was mediocre by the tone of the board sometimes but he's going to soar past 4k and 35 passing TD's again (so over 40+ total), especially with the extra game of course. Pretty incredible to do that in back to back seasons, and he's got the build and overall perfect QB aura to do it for another decade plus.
  12. They'll pay him and he probably deserves it. He's not as good as Josh but he may be #3 in the AFC, he's good and has proven he shouldn't be doubted. I was surprised by Huntley today though, too. Feed Mark Andrews is the name of the game apparently, but Lamar can do that and also rip off 120 with his legs.
  13. Don’t have a kicker available what? If we lose to a team that didn’t even dress a kicker...
  14. First watch is what a hit. Third watch is what a dive. For Paul, sorry.
  15. Really didn't think Jonathan Taylor would pick up the Derrick Henry historical season baton when Henry went down but man he is good. I feel like the AFC North and South have all kind of quietly focused on rushing a bit more than the other two AFC divisions and it's starting to pay off - Taylor, Mixon, Henry (inj), Chubb (inj) - two of those guys are banged up but those are the four best backs in the league, and Najee Harris is still working on things in Pittsburgh. Come to think of it NE may already be ahead and following that same mold with Stevenson. Is this all to compete with Baltimore? Regardless Bills are going to have to make a serious play at RB to compete long-term, these AFC backs are scary.
  16. Diggs continues his return to the top tier, extending his streak of destroying the fantasy dork talk every time he has a down game or two, as if he didn't just put up historical numbers last year. Stop, he's top 3 in the league. Thinking maybe 9 or 10 receptions for 120 and a TD, which will statistically put him right at the top again at the end of year. With 2 games to go while he's heating up and will need heavy usage.
  17. Other than proving he's in game shape I really don't know why he did this. And proving your in game shape doesn't include getting beat pretty easily. It's not money at all, there's no way that partial robot Frank Gore is broke, and he's never done anything weird. He also had several interviews about this fight and it all kind of sounded like he wanted to just compete and showcase his health/skills. Got to protect that brain though, Frank. This was dumb.
  18. Interesting dig, but the 17 game regular season is going to throw all of this and much more out of wack. Pretty much draw a line after 2020 as you would for stat records or any other 16 game season obscure facts.
  19. Yeah that's a good point. It's not like he's hard up for money and he probably wants to do it so on one hand good for him, but CTE is an issue. It also seems like every retired athlete is boxing or trying MMA nowadays, and a few of those brains probably really shouldn't be.
  20. Weather is increasingly irrelevant and equalizing across the NFL with domes and better stadiums. Very hard to "build" a team for some random game that they may see once or twice in a career. We need to adapt and get away from this idea that our players are primarily vikings built for snow in the 1980's.
  21. Yes, fantastic work for him. Giant tool and clearly a self absorbed moron for the rest of society.
  22. A little more perspective, or perhaps a thought exercise: take away Josh Allen Pretty gross, yeah? They're honestly running a perennial 5-11 (guess 12 now) operation without our top QB. I'm keeping the door open in case they can run the table in the regular season, but I can't wrap my head around some of the conservative calls these last few weeks, especially when truly the vast majority of their current credibility rides on the arm of the blue chip, mutant QB...I simply just don't get it. I'm starting to feel like McDermott's naturally very Jauron-like in a lot of ways, and that his talent is almost outplaying his conservative philosophies in spite of him. The team from top to bottom's got time to make it all work, but if this season fails, or worse fails miserably, I'm completely off the McBeane train. It's all about Josh Allen at this point. Dude's going to put up another 4,000+ passing yards, maybe even 40+ TD season regardless of what happens. If this regime can't build around him, get one that can. He's more important than anybody at this point.
  23. Haha fast moving fail train. Came on here because of the Lambo news and this thread is the first time I've seen it official. I'm quite convinced at this point that Urban Meyer is just simply kind of dumb. Just too dumb for an NFL coaching position. He can probably find his sweet spot somewhere with a lesser known Ohio college.
  24. Diggs is absolutely a #1 lol. Maybe the #2 and beyond needs more height sure, in which case start with Gabe Davis and then draft more height. And by Mike Williams did you mean Mike Evans? Evans is a first ballot HOF at this point sure, he's incredible. I'd take Diggs over Mike Williams of the Chargers in a heartbeat, however, but yeah I guess he'd be a good second option.
