Out of state fan here that's listened to WGR post game shows over the internet for what feels like a decade now. What's going on this year? Second week in a row I couldn't get any post game on Audacy and then a few other lamer apps that usually offer their broadcast. I know Audacy switched to WGR about an hour after the game last week, but I checked nearly 2 hours after the game this week and it was still some CBS schlub. I'm assuming they're actually still doing shows and this is just an issue with picking up the broadcast? Pretty disappointing. During the drought I could pick up a WGR post game in 15 seconds, now several years later when it matters, I can't get anything.

Normally, as in every single other game, I would agree with this, but he was another potential body in an awful war of o-line attrition today. This was like the one game Bobby Hart could have possibly helped out. His stupidity is an underrated reason for some of our issues today. If he's truly that bad in addition to being stupid, then why in the world is he taking up a spot? Get rid of him for any other journeyman D grade body that doesn't punch opposing coaches.

Allen was also still chuckling after getting hit like an absolute psychopath. While everybody else is getting injured and other QBs are screaming over ankle sprains. You just can't compare him to other people at this point.

I thought that burning the visitors thing was common knowledge but apparently not? I saw so many posts today about how the Fish had to play in the same weather so therefore the heat was no excuse. I don't personally think it dictates wins and losses, but the two teams aren't dealing with the exact same environment when it feels like it's 99 on the field.

Right? Yeah guys every team plays while missing their entire secondary and multiple starting offensive and defensive lineman, and those teams find a way to win on the road... They had victory in their hands multiple times and didn't close, this is true. But it's also true that if they were healthy it wouldn't have been as close against that team today. Let's not conveniently overlook this and dismiss half a dozen missing starters with more bodies piling up during the game as a simple excuse.

I don’t understand why Moss doesn’t get goal line attempts. McD even said before the game that our backs “all have slightly different strengths” but it looks to me like we just have 3 dressed backs that we use in exactly the same way.

I’ve seen this a few times now but isn’t it common knowledge that the Fish’s stadium is designed so that the visitors bear the brunt of the sun? I can personally think of about 10 other reasons why we lost today before getting to the heat, but I don’t think it’s an equal situation for both teams.

This is unfortunately where I’m at. It was nice to think that Gabe and Knox would become top tier options this season but it just hasn’t happened yet. They’re nice contributors, but this team needs another gamebreaker.

You’re trying to hard at this point. He’s a very solid, competent, well respected veteran so yes, per your example he is in fact “prime rib” compared to Van Roten.

Game was kind of bizarre, I remembered multiple people limping off the filed well before Dane's injury. The first few plays in particular seemed to be mayhem.

I just now heard the Poyer news which was quite the left hook after convincing myself all day that we'll survive Hyde's injury largely because of Poyer. Hopefully it's only one week. It's gonna be a challenge but I do trust our process especially when it comes to the secondary and they've been playing under the best tandem in the game. Look at the bright side, it'll be interesting to watch the new squad and if they play well then it'll be awesome. I told myself to stop doubting this regime when it comes to the secondary after they seemingly hit on Benford, it's possible this team doesn't miss a beat. And of course the biggest x-factor is Tua against pressure. He might just suck tomorrow.

I looked away for about four hours. Where did this come from? It's still going to come down to Josh and the d-line. It can be done, maybe we even flex the run game and try to control tempo more, but Hill and Waddle against a completely gutted secondary is quite the challenge. One thing's for sure is I think we'll get a good sense of the real Tua tomorrow. He should definitely have his opportunities, but on a pretty big stage with Von Miller breathing on him. I'm hoping there's a very real chance that the main storyline tomorrow is Tua flopping.

Groot domination, he was popping early during Week 1 and clearly isn't relaxing. The Groot-Boogie-AJ trifecta under Von's tutelage is really an incredible thing. Potentially up there with Josh Allen being Josh Allen in terms of a franchise changing dynamic. If this dline and secondary ever gets healthy at the same time, good luck everyone.

I knew Von had gas left but I'm just blown away weekly at this point by how much he has left. I never thought going back to his signing that it would be Parsons/Garrett level at this point, but there's the proof. HOF tier player.

I'm assuming I'm just naive and missing something, or maybe even preaching to the choir rather, but I feel like Kay Adams exists just to tee other people with real knowledge up. It becomes pretty annoying when you view it through this lens. Every single thing she does has the same structure - she's the discussion moderator that manages commercial ins and outs but she never really offers anything in terms of knowledge. She ushers segues.

I'll say 120/1500/15, which seems insane but even the higher estimates aren't that crazy. He's elite and in a perfect situation. Not to get too far ahead of ourselves but since we're already doing it anyway, if Diggs puts up a season close to what people are calling for, he'll have roughly 9k yds and 60 TD well before 30. While arguably still in his prime considering how he plays. Big time numbers.

Even in this thread the consensus seems to be that he clearly lost a step. Well, he clearly lost that step an entire year ago. I highly doubt he's improved since then.

Good for Beas but man that team went from Evans, Godwin and Jones to Beasley and Russell Gage real quick. Evans suspension aside that offense is banged up. I also thought Brady's tantrum was over the line for even him last week. I've never really seen him like that, he seems absolutely miserable. I honestly wonder if he'll finish the season, especially if things start getting rough and they lose some games.
