Diggs - bonus for 6 more catches - extension ?
Nelius replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ok got it - we need to hurry up do what the team that missed the playoffs did, in order to hopefully make the playoffs next year...while completely ignoring that we're currently in the thick of things now. Makes total sense, thanks. Fantasy football rots brains. There are still people who would rather have the Minnesota or San Diego offense over what is happening right now in Buffalo. It's truly mind blowing. -
That is perfect. Can't wait

Diggs - bonus for 6 more catches - extension ?
Nelius replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
Diggs in his prime can probably help win a Super Bowl, too, like in a few weeks. Maybe if we flame out of the playoffs a couple more times then you'd have a better point Mama Pecorino Romano but now is clearly not the time. Ah he's a Jefferson truther, so I'm thinking maybe a troll. He says earlier that the "Vikings clearly don't miss Diggs". But Diggs is in the playoffs, and Justin Jefferson isn't... -
The good and the bad (just one each) for you in this game
Nelius replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
A good stat that really surprised me is that Gabe Davis was targeted 14 teams which is crazy. The bad is that he didn't do much - 3 catches - but I like that they're going his way as much as they are now. The catches will come as we know, his hands are incredible. -
Yes, it's just not really the traditional game you can expect. Considering that the Bills were 6th in the league in rushing yardage before today's game, it's honestly kind of a silly question at this point. It's true however that many don't count your QB ripping off 32 yard chunks part of a team's standard "running game", which is absurd.

We’ve been talking about Haack being a liability since Day 1. Bad time for it to come true. Might have the yips. -
Congrats Josh now number 3 most rushing tds in team history
Nelius replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is his 4th season, he'll probably overtake Thurman at some point. Even if he slows down but plays for another 6-8 years it won't be hard. That's wild to consider that he may not only break Kelly's records, but also Thurman's. He's running at a historic level at this point. I think somebody said today he's the only QB to ever rush for 6+ TD in his first 4 seasons. Not Newton, not Vick, not Randall Cunningham...Josh MF Allen. And those guys never threw for 4k a season. Cam barely did it once, none of them ever did it twice. Actually it's consecutive seasons, just found it - he's not only the first QB to ever do it in his first four seasons, but also any four consecutive seasons. Ridiculous. He needs to be a 99 in Madden from here on out, he's unlike any QB that's ever played at this point. -
Quietly the Dolphins are the 2nd hottest team in the AFC right now

This aged well. Tua might be the worst starting QB in the league. Bottom 5 for sure. -
Edited: Browns are amazingly (NOT) going to make the playoffs
Nelius replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Browns being the early favorites make about as much sense as Baker Mayfield being in 40% of all commercials that are being forced on me during game time. He's not a good QB and the Bengals are going to destroy the Browns. -
When you take a step back and view this whole thing through the lens of AB being a giant douche canoe rather than a poor brain damaged human being, it kind of starts to look like he planned this a bit, which I know sounds crazy, but we're talking about a crazy person here. He immediately uploaded new music hours after the "meltdown"? Had some viral cab driver with a big social media presence just waiting for him who's also streaming vids for clout? I don't know, it all seems a little bit set up considering the tik-tok age that we're in. Almost as if AB has a multi-million dollar offer to box a Paul brother or something in his back pocket.

I just don't want the Bengals. Mixon is the type of back to give us fits and that passing game is incredible. It's like they have three #1's right now, one of them being quite possibly the best rookie WR to ever do it. I have no fear of the Pats or Titans again, but think I'd rather see the Pats. Vrabel is conducing some sorcery this year, I don't understand half of the Titans wins. Plus I'm reading that Henry is expected back, so yeah give me the Pats again. Alright now that I've checked all scenarios it seems like the Bengals are very unlikely. Hopefully whoever sees them first takes them out.

This is a point if it happens week in and week out, but he put up 300 passing yards against our nemesis last week... Just can't really stand stuff like the "we didn't pay that much for a RB" quips when he's clearly doing it all - he's got 4,000 and 34 through the air through a genuine 16 game season. Quite the running back considering those are still better than Kelly passing numbers... I think a better way to phrase it is that he has talent to just punch in a few cheat codes and still rush for multiple scores and carry the team on his back even during a bad passing day.
-
He won't get MVP and there's a couple others who probably deserve it more right now especially after today, but how many more records did he break today with the two rushing TD's? I believe I heard he's the first QB with at least 6+ rushing TD's in his first four seasons, plus the one about fastest to 100 passing TDs and 30 rushing. He had a horrible day and still broke multiple records while helping us to the playoffs again. Just incredible. Hey remember when Alex Van Pelt was our starter?
-
I see absolutely nothing wrong with the Diggs trade even with Jefferson's ascension. Diggs is also a team leader and has a great relationship with Josh, two things that a rookie definitely does not guarantee you. They're both top tier WR's, ours just fits this team perfectly.
-
Then why play him at all? Brady likes him. Unless TB's in on it as well then I don't buy it. If you put him on the field, and Brady tosses him a single TD, then he gets bonus money. It doesn't make sense to sort of limit him when he only needs like 55 yds and a TD over the course of two weeks. He could do that in a single drive.

Gronk showcasing some of those A+ media skills in the post game interview. Managed to completely avoid the AB question but also congratulate AB's replacement and repeatedly state that you have to show up for all 60 minutes. Well done, Gronk.

Sanchez is just bad at this, much like he was at football. He sounds moody and uninterested. -

Diggs is so tough but man I swear I just saw a wobble when he ran out of that tent. Hope he can rest next week. -
Mike Davis's tweet says Bar Bill, and the guy right above me started talking about Wing Nutz. The confusion is legit. I don't think it's confirmed that Cordarelle got Bar Bill.
-
Is that Wingnutz? I immediately read a Wingnutz article after the last Wingnutz hype explosion on this board and I've wanted to fly 1500 miles to Buffalo specifically for Wingnutz ever since.

If the price is right, absolutely. He still showed some burst this year that our Singlemoss duo simply doesn't have. I remember a 42 yd dump off reception or something like that in his first real game back for example. Plus he may still be coming back to an extent and the Giants are a pretty awful organization nowadays, a fresh start with a winner could be all he needs. Definitely a Breida upgrade at minimum.
