  1. Ehhhh here's hoping and it would be fantastic if this turns out to be true, but when you have a generational talent like Allen at QB you invest in the most advanced weaponry year after year. If Josh throws for 7,000 yards this year and every single one of our receivers has a career year you still go get another, brand new WR or TE next year. I'm still thinking WR in the 1st, definitely one before the second round ends.
  2. Man this is awful. Prayers for his family. What I find pretty frustrating, to put it mildly, about the whole Gil Brandt thing and similar takes like it is that it seems to ignore at least the past year of Haskins still very young career. Yeah, he had some very obvious hiccups with Washington, but he then managed to stick in the league with Pittsburgh for over a year and was down there practicing with teammates who clearly loved him. Seemed he was on the upswing and may have at least found a place as a competent backup with upside. Way too much negative chatter out there about his very young career considering he was still an NFL quarterback that seemed to be comfortably progressing.
  3. I don't see us moving up much for CB with this team's ability to develop defensive backs. They could take 3 starting in Round 4 and make something out of it. Moving up for offense, so WR since it's the 1st, or just a couple of spots for CB makes the most sense. I'm buying into the Jameson Williams chatter, I really think they go WR in the 1st. Does the Will Fuller comparison come with the PEDs? I'll take a healthy, hulked up Will Fuller streaking down the sideline. You can't get that nowadays with the real Will Fuller of course. Shenault is broken or too slow for the NFL, there's a reason beyond Jacksonville's ineptitude that there's no real interest from anybody.
  4. Denver-based and watched them more than any team than the Bills. I respectfully disagree. Jeudy took a step back last year and looked kind of lost at times, Tim Patrick is just a guy. Sutton is nice granted but they also lost Noah Fant who was supposed to be their offensive future just two seasons ago. I don't think they're primed and ready, I think they have tons of guys that need to prove themselves and they could easily be as mediocre as it gets. They don't have the same roster on paper as LA, KC, or even Vegas in my opinion.
  5. This Broncos love needs to stop, I'm sorry. It's ridiculous. They're a mediocre team that added an aging Russell Wilson and now they're casually being mentioned with Buffalo, KC and Cincy. Stop. They made Nathaniel Hackett their head coach, they may very well finish last in the division.
  6. Colts are interesting but who is Ryan throwing to? That WR depth chart is definitely worse than KC post-Hill, might even be in Green Bay territory. Pittman is a good 2 on most teams, and that's about it.
  7. I think you could tell by about his 3rd game or so that we might have drafted somebody special. Was that just his third game when he did the first hurdle against Minnesota? I agree he wasn't trash and that a lot of it was just propped up by talking heads that wanted to be right about him being a reach, and they were able to cling to that through about the end of his 2nd season. Even casuals and pessimists knew he wasn't a bust well before the end of his 2nd season, so everybody but Nick Wright jumped on the bandwagon real quick when it was evident in season 3 that he was the real deal.
  8. Some good rankings that I pretty much agree with but I'm not really tracking the Denver love. They might be more competitive, but #2, in this conference? I wouldn't be surprised if they're last in their division. I think the Raiders have the better full roster on paper, and I'm not convinced that Wilson is that much better than Carr to make up the difference.
  9. I'm not a defensive coordinator so it's tough to answer this question based on Madden skills alone. Hill certainly looks more athletic, but perhaps Coordinators fear Diggs' game intelligence more, neither of us really know. I'd definitely be more concerned about Diggs and Allen than Tua and Hill.
  10. As has Tyreek Hill. Just last year alone he had stunning game totals of 14, 37, 22, 19, and 2 yards. Completely disappeared for more than a quarter of the season. I expect more of these with Tua at the helm.
  11. I agree that CB is the biggest need but this team has shown an ability to create decent CB's and we all know how much McDermott loves his secondary. They could take 2 or 3 late round DB picks and turn it into something. Put me down for WR in the first. I can't really see them going RB but it's always smart to draft a WR in the top few rounds pretty much every year with a QB like Josh.
  12. When you have Derrick Henry you're always in the mix. He's the most dominant force in football.
  13. WR cupboard getting pretty bare, even for prove-it veterans that may want a ring. Jamison Crowder still sitting out there, would be a great Beasley replacement. I also can't believe that sites are ranking Antonio Brown. Will Fuller to Cleveland is got to be all but guaranteed at this point with Watson. Doesn't worry me too much, but he was still pretty dang good when healthy/not being dumb. Could a Sammy reunion happen? Good lord. Never even crossed my mind until now but if you want a potentially cheap, vet receiver with playoff experience...there aren't many better options.
  14. How is Joe Haden not 47 years old? I swear he was a free agent in 2003. Clearly I'm in the dark on his post-Cleveland career so I can't say I'm totally opposed to it, but man he feels old.
  15. He's always been known as a pressure artist so I looked up last year's number and sure enough, he led the team. Had 26, which was also more than Jeffery Simmons (8.5 sacks), Carlos Dunlap (8.5 sacks) other Josh Allen (7.5 sacks). Kind of nuts, really. He's got to have the worst pressure to sack ratio of anybody the past few years. Clearly the pressure is good and still valuable but it's wild how few sacks come out of them. I'd still bring him back for cheap if he can keep causing some chaos.
  16. I like the Duke Johnson idea. Much more than Melvin Gordon. Melvin Gordon makes a ton of mistakes and is kind of a headcase. Not a very likeable player, he'd be the whipping boy by mid-season. I can see him losing a costly fumble in the playoffs already. Duke is slightly younger than Melvin but has about 1,000 less carries. I feel like he's always shown skills but has just been on some awful teams that always are testing out at least 1 or 2 other guys. As far as cheap prove-it flyers, I can't think of many better options. What's Kenyan Drake up to? Raiders always seems to have 1 or 2 interesting backs that are just kind of stashed and not doing much
  17. Why is Allen Robinson still available? Go get Allen Robinson. The Eric Moulds of his generation, he'd be a great fit
  18. Currently imprisoned Justin Bannan? I think Bruce left right before his rookie year but that's the best I can find
  19. It's going to be all about the Achillies but he's actually averaged nearly 15 yards per catch his career. That's insane for a TE. Like a deep threat TE? Kelce who's your A+ TE who does WR things averages about 12.5 ypc, nobody else really comes close at the position. Most TE's are sub-10. I'm assuming this is a bit of a dice roll - kind of hoping for a special weapon for a special QB.
  20. I've wanted OJ Howard since 2017 and I'm still pretty happy with even possibly broken OJ Howard. Averaged over 15 ypc his first two seasons, had unreal athleticism at one point, hopefully still does. Think it's safe to say this is an obvious Sweeney upgrade, as much as we love you Tommy.
  21. Denver-based Bills fan chiming in and I think the answer is yes, but to temper expectations. Is he 2014 Von Miller of current Aaron Donald level dominance? Probably not. Can he still bend and manhandle people and get you 10 sacks a year and provide an individual pass rush that we really haven't had recently? I think so. The key to this all will be Rousseau's development. If he takes a step and Von Miller is even old Von Miller, then I love it. He's an upgrade over Hughes in my opinion if we're comparing the two, and I'll be the first to say that Jerry belongs on the Wall.
  22. Tee hee. It was Bengals and Rams, of course I didn't watch that closely, I barely had my eyes open. Half time diva kicker is news to me. Even more enlightening is that some seem to think that it was a justifiable excuse. Like c'mon dude, it's the halftime show, nothing else matters right now.
  23. He wanted to watch the half time show? Is that the real reason? I assumed he just had a big head and was being weird which is dumb enough for a kicker, but if he actually wanted to watch the half time show like some 6 year old then that's even more ridiculous.
  24. I was an idiot when I was 21 as well yeah but I wasn't publicly sharing my cringe idiocy to millions, and I'm pretty confident that my idiocy also wasn't a fraction as annoying. I was just drinking and eating pizza and sleeping in weird places. This dude is the worst. Any time I see anything on him or the wife I start to immediately physically react like I need to get away. True, physical, shut it off cringe.
  25. I definitely wish my hands were bigger instead of smaller
