  1. Ha there were like 3 other more creepy ones that you needed to step over to get to this one
  2. Even if Punt God's powers leave his body and he's a worse holder than Bojo then I still don't think you roll with Haack. Haack was borderline disaster a few times and never really did anything incredible the rest of the time. I still say he's too slow to kick and that it will cost this team dearly. I found a list of available punters that included some decent names but it was from late May and apparently every single one of them has since signed, so I guess Haack is still in the mix unfortunately. Let's go Punt God.
  3. There's got to be a joke that I'm missing with the Zach Wlson inclusion. No way that was serious considering the rest of it.
  4. Couldn't find this but how about the simple fact that Rodgers is 38 years old? Maybe peak Rodgers was scarier or as scary, but I'm taking the 26 year bull nearing his peak.
  5. Some dudes are just built different. Don't tell this guy about Roy Nelson. You'd think logic would prevail though in that he was great at the end of last season with the same physique, because you're not changing that much in 6 months. He'll be fine.
  6. I didn't even know he was still playing. The saga continues, Wu Tang Wu Tang. Ha just looked it up and not only is he still playing, but he's playing very well. Has a TD in each of the last three games, about 70 yd average per game. Duke really is kind of a bad dude with an interesting story. When he makes the leap into athlete boxing I'll definitely still be rooting for him.
  7. Sammy's an incredibly weird dude and I am extremely happy that he is not a Buffalo Bill, but the fact that he's learned to train for the first time in nearly a decade and is one of the only experienced receivers playing with Rodgers could mean that he might actually have a decent year this year, as painful as it may be for most to admit. He's also made $70M and counting and has a ring, but most, myself included, would consider him to be a tremendous disappointment. One of the strangest careers I've ever seen, I half hope he has the best year of his career just so it gets more bizarre.
  8. Exactly. Thanks for the point assist. 34 year old Rodger Saffold has never played a down for the Bills, yet the unhinged anti-Edmunds crowd would rather give him a nod, simply because he's not Tremaine Edmunds. We're at the point where we're favorably comparing Cody Ford to Edmunds. You can't even spell Quessenberry's name and yet he's acceptable?
  9. We don't really even know who are starting guards are but have fun man.
  10. I'm not an Edmunds apologist by any means, I can just fully understand the difference that 8 seasons on the football field provides. In what reality is Edmunds so bad that you'd rather have a mid-30's rental for one season? Wagner is no Tom Brady lol c'mon man. In fact, Bobby Wagner's stats for the past 4-5 seasons are downright Edmunds-like. He tackles more, but has been doing so for one of the worst teams in the league. His sack, interception, and big play numbers for about the last 4-5 seasons are just as boring as Tremaine's. It's been a long, long time since that dominating Seattle defense (shouts to Kam Chancellor, what a beast that guy was)
  11. Not gonna get into the whole Lewan thing but I feel like "great" and "awesome" have been the ways to describe Eric Wood every time he speaks for about the last two years. Guy has really been hitting his stride after the first bumbling year or so as a media personality, I only see positive impressions every time he does something like this nowadays.
  12. Marv's intellect has been inspirational for truly my entire life at this point.
  13. Bobby Wagner will be 32 years old when the season starts? I can tolerate some levels of Edmunds hatred but can't really overlook an entire 8 year difference at LB. No, Wagner would not have been a huge upgrade.
  14. Lamar hasn't been good for two years, and only reached Allen/Mahomes level that one season. Ravens are also rolling with Bateman and Duvernay at WR? I'd honestly swap him out for Burrow.
  15. So then that's kind of a thing then right? Fans are going to hate it but Edmunds value may come from his dependability/durability. Like a Kirby Puckett / Gary Payton type. Maybe even an oversized London Fletcher to put it back in the NFL realm...although Fletcher had twice as many TFL's by his third season lol
  16. Currently unsigned 33 year old Cole Beasley and currently unsigned 35 year old Emmanuel Sanders? Or like versions of them from the past that no longer exist? Sorry, not trying to be rude. I just don't see why going younger and faster is an issue? Cole and Sanders probably will never play again unless there's some WR emergency. I could actually see Sanders joining a team before Beasley.
  17. Gotcha, but I don't know man. I can listen to the argument that Hill/Waddle are better than Diggs/Davis - although both groups should get a bump or a minus due their QB situation. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Diggs/Davis have much better stats at end of year. Regardless, I still don't think that the Dolphins have a better overall depth chart on offense than we do. And I certainly don't think Philly does. Philly?! I'd put the Bills in the top 10. I think a few of your choices (Dallas, TB) are probably correct.
  18. That's a separate point, and one that's open for debate. You were discussing depth beyond the top 2
  19. So if Diggs and Gabe are Hill and Waddle, then exactly what depth do the Dolphins have beyond them, which is your argument? Could probably extend that to the rest of the teams mentioned. I'm so over the Broncos hype btw - apparently the extremely disappointing Jerry Jeudy, often missing Courtland Sutton, and Tim Patrick who is essentially a modern day Josh Reed are more feared than our skill players?
  20. Yes, I guess in that scenario, or worse if both of them get hurt at the same time, then it puts the team in a bind for outside help. But isn't that likely the case with every single NFL team and their top 2 wide receivers? What team exactly has a never ending supply of outside burners? I'm not arguing with the obvious fact that if everybody gets hurt then you have a problem, I'm arguing with the comparison to reality and all other teams. And hey, we don't really even know if we have nobody in this scenario, that's what the 5th round pick and the other players that are getting discounted in this thread are for. It's a weird point to bring up frankly. Similar to, if both Josh and Case Keenum get hurt, we might have some QB trouble... Also what's your example of a top of the league skill player assembly, if this group, with a +1 best in the league QB boost, is only middle of the pack? The Chiefs? Certainly not post Hill. The Colts lol?
  21. The end of that article is pretty ridiculous, as if every team has 5+ top grade weapons at WR. You really just need a bunch of unique and/or explosive guys after a couple of all-world weapons, and that's exactly what we have. Oh but they only have a 5th round rookie, and Jamison Crowder, and Isaiah McKenzie...oh and Dawson Knox, and Motor, and James Cook. And again this is all assuming Gabe takes a step back and I don't know why anybody would think that. And it glosses over the fact that Diggs is absolutely an outside threat. Uh, one of the best in the league in fact, so it's pretty convenient to not really nail that point home. Gabe is a #2. Legit. Upside is a #1 on another team which is the most concerning thing about him really, gonna need to pay. And even if he gets hurt or fails to meet expectations there are plenty of bodies to pick up the slack. I expect more of these more or less contrarian articles poking holes in our roster as we get closer to the start of the season now that we're near the top of SB favorites. "The Bills have surrounded Josh Allen with 8 weapons, but will that be enough?" or "Are the Bills relying too much on Josh Allen?" etc etc etc I also find it annoying that every fantasy talking head and their mother really likes to discount Jamison Crowder apparently. The guy was a lock for 60-70 catches and a target hog when healthy with the effing Jets. And now he has the best QB in the league. I'm expecting him to blow away Cole's contributions.
  22. The thing with Moss is that he has the easiest path to sticking by way of injury, or by being able to provide something different. Doesn't he pass protect well? He's also still the best power option. Ford and Epenesa have too many people in front of them and won't easily benefit from a single injury. I think they could all remain Bills for other reasons raised in this thread, but just chiming in to say that Moss is not a guaranteed departure considering he seems to be one of the current players that everybody's dumping on. Do you really need Gilliam if Moss steps up for example?
  23. I would have agreed with you before but this Cleveland blunder continues looking worse and worse. They are clearly the worst organization in sports, this Watson contract may end up being the worst sports contract in history. Makes the Anthony Rendon contract look like a small administrative error. It might be Baker's best option to turn the whine to 11 and play the sympathy card at full strength at this point because more and more are feeling bad for him. For example I just ran a quick Google search for Watson and top story is "NFL is pushing for indefinite suspension of Watson" lolololol. Granted they can probably void the contract but they can't just be like "Uh, hey Baker" at this point. Truly unbelievable, I love it.
  24. Opinions of Sapp aside, it is weird that Kaepernick is still relying on these shadowy pro workouts to propel him back into the NFL as if he's some kind of legendary figure. There are numerous other leagues now and it's been 6 years bro. Even diehards who think he got blackballed have to be skeptical simply because it's been 6 years bro. Swallow some pride and go demolish Kyle Sloter and Paxton Lynch in the USFL, guys who are also still sniffing around a chance in the NFL and are legitimately your competition at this point. I can't think of an easier way to raise some eyebrows and win more public support. Instead its these clandestine workouts that only 3 people and apparently zero media are allowed to attend.
  25. Not a Kaepernick apologist by any means and I wouldn't doubt if he's awful now, but there are slowly emerging counter arguments to this, and a general sense of it being Warren Sapp trying to regain relevancy. Granted, that's only from Kaep's agent and Raiders talking heads so far, but it's not as if Sapp is the most trusted source in media. Didn't he pretty much fade from view entirely after that prostitution thing? I don't really know why everybody thinks Sapp has credible inside info all of the sudden as if he's a regular provider of breaking news
