  1. Top 10 potential, as in uh, a top-10 running back in the entire league? This may be the first mistake
  2. Chargers/Raiders and Chiefs/Cards but I have a soft spot for Detroit and think that Philly/Detroit game could be fun. Detroit has a great o-line and could do something this year and Philly is supposed to be loaded. I'm not entirely sure I believe that personally but I'll be checking in to see.
  3. Definitely, I was impressed. Loved Diggs putting up big numbers in Week 1 as well. Didn't see much Knox tonight although there are only so many balls to go around, but just one thing I'll be keeping an eye on. Just an observation, I don't really care who puts up the points.
  4. Lol Anyway, this team looked unstoppable in the second half. Two key positive second half developments in my opinion - Greg Rousseau domination and Jamison Crowder's emerging safety valve status
  5. Dude 2 hours of drunken WGR call slop is part of the new season ritual, I love it
  6. WGR is back. What a perfect night. Only kicking myself that I didn't take tomorrow off. I wouldn't put much stock in Von's post-game comments. As somebody else said he was just trying to be diplomatic, and as a Denver native, Von's just kind of a weirdo sometimes. But he's our weirdo thank god. He was taking videos screaming with Josh pretty much immediately after that slightly awkward interview.
  7. This is awesome. Great info but not totally sure how it skews based on those comments. The Quintin Morris usage throws me off, but perhaps they really like him. Can't tell if more reps at this point means you're earning the position or that we're testing you out because we're not sure, but I think it's also very interesting to see Hodgins at 50+% ST reps. Clearly trying to see what he can contribute. By that logic it would seem the 10-20% of reps for Kumerow, Howard, Johnson indicates that they're gone? Could have it completely flipped in which case they're safe and high usage = cuts, but I don't think so. Would seem like a stretch to conserve all of Kumerow, Howard, Johnson.
  8. Saw that he made himself very vocally available to the Bills on Twitter and didn't even realize he was out of the league for so long. What was his deal exactly? He was a top punter in the league and then he was a bit of a distraction and was gone? I can't find anything about an injury or drop in performance. Honestly sounds like he was so annoying that it pushed him out of the league.
  9. I mean it's my name dude I'm sorry if that reaction floors you. Your tangent is interesting.
  10. It's actually also my name but hey heck of a jump. I'll change the pic if it bothers you that much.
  11. The argument that this now shows Bills players that management doesn't have their back may truly be the dumbest thing I've read all week. No, I'm pretty sure that's not the takeaway. I can almost guarantee that veterans who aren't rapists aren't second guessing leadership because of a rookie who at minimum made some absolutely terrible decisions. I wouldn't doubt if some are relieved that they don't have to deal with this distraction.
  12. Great move. Had to be done. People are apparently recoiling at the awful details, but yet you still have the handful of always contrarians that feel he, of all people, got a bad deal...
  13. As has been said I'd say Green Bay shuffled the decked and moved on more than KC who still has Kelce and a bunch of weapons. I've had this argument a few times here this offseason but I think we're going to be surprised by how awful Green Bay is this year. I know they still have some stars on defense and in the trenches but most of them were hurt last year on top of their awful wide receiver group. I bet we're going to see a full melt-down from Rodgers this season, the likes of which we've never seen before. So to answer your question, it's too early to tell. I personally can't see any advantage to shedding your #1 to go with a bunch of unproven scrubs, but we'll certainly find out by watching GB.
  14. Pretty sure he's popped up here a few times in various forms. Any time the Bills lose a game they shouldn't there's always some very opinionated new poster or somebody who hasn't posted in 2 years that has his troll-like cadence down perfectly. Will blow up a stupid loss to the Jags into questioning whether Allen is really a #1 for example. QBs are his angle, and it's so obvious that Josh is incredible that it's probably very hard to run that schtick right now I would imagine.
  15. #26 sort of makes sense considering the barely important statistical dropoff but we all know how valuable Diggs is. I think the number of WRs left is more important, because there's no way Diggs isn't really top 3/4 in the league. I bet there's at least 4-5 more left, and I assume they're going to give Chase top 25 after 1 year. I can't imagine he's off the list completely. And it's in, Chase at #24. Meh, I know his numbers were incredible but I'd at least personally flip him with the veteran who's only one season removed from putting up even better numbers than Chase's rookie year.
  16. Rooting for him. My brain reads Babylon Spector every time I see his name. As if he's some spooky dub dj. Boh, Babylon Spector
  17. I think the Bills ranking is fine, respectable, and agreeable. The Burrow-Chase connection was just unreal last year. I get it. May be a little bit of hype inflation because our boys have been doing it for longer, but hard to argue with #2. The rest of the list is awful. As much as I hate Cousins, give me Cousins-Jefferson all day. Surprised they weren't top-5 really. Being left off the list entirely is ridiculous. They've got to stop with this Michael Thomas nonsense. Winston and Thomas ranked 10th? Did some high intern win an award to be able to submit that? Thomas hasn't played in nearly two years and Famous Jameis is still the finger licking W eating Famous Jameis that we all know and love. People are treating him like some elite QB now, as if he doesn't throw 30 interceptions when he throws 30 TDs. Who in their right mind would rather have Winston/Thomas over Cousins/Jefferson?
  18. Nice job, OP. My take because hey who doesn't like an offseason list: Tier 1 (tiers roughly in order): Bills, Chiefs, Bengals Notes - I'm going to cut it off there. I think these are the only 3 that deserve respect based on roster and recent postseason play. Concerning Cincy, Burrow is legit imo and they have the best top 3 WR depth in the game. Tier 2: Chargers, Raiders, Titans, Ravens, Colts Notes - Chargers the clear favorite here as they're on the Tier 1 bubble, only missing out due to recent playoff history. Las Vegas terrifies me personally, I think the Crosby/Chandler pass rush is going to be insane. Derrick Henry is still the best offensive weapon outside of Josh Allen when he's healthy. Lamar isn't, but until he's completely figured out the Ravens deserve a spot. Tier 3: Browns, Dolphins, Steelers, Pats, Broncos Notes - I'm just not buying what the Donkeys are selling. I think they've been massively overhyped and it's already dwindling. They were considered a potential #2 in the AFC by talking heads at one point after the draft! It all seems to rest on Javonte Williams, who looks great, but solid RBs are a nice to have more than a team carrier, with only 2 real exceptions in the NFL. Tim Patrick is out for the year, Jeudy's not living up to expectations. They don't have Fant anymore. Just not seeing the offensive production. I think the Steelers are going to surprise and be annoying. The Rest: Jags, Jets, Texans Notes - Jags sort of take a step. Jets flounder. Texans are the worst.
  19. I'll have to rewatch because I didn't notice the clumsiness initially. I think the run and his general stat line is being considered impressive in the sense that he looked pretty solid overall and many discounted him earlier as a cut, so now there's over compensation in the other direction. I personally think he's going to not only make the team but be a surprising goal line force. I called earlier that he'd have at least 8 overall regular season TDs.
  20. Jumping on this because it best explains my position and response to the win now mentality which I can't argue with either. In terms of a general roster add of course. I just don't really see where he fits in, or whether or not we start to cannibalize the offense with less targets for other, potentially even more dynamic players. I'm assuming he's going to want to be a pretty significant contributor of course. I think people are massively discounting Crowder, but I'd obviously rather have OBJ in the slot which he can do, but is he really going to want to get beat up like that at this point in his career? Something's just not adding up for me with our current healthy roster and a healthy OBJ who is going to want targets.
  21. We currently have a healthy Hodgins and Shakir, which is interesting, and both apparently look good, which is even more interesting. So far so good, fingers crossed. If that's healthy depth than I'm kind of failing to see the need, barring major injury. Definitely a nice to have, but I'd rather Diggs, Knox, and Gabe get the targets personally. If he's willing to play pretty extreme depth then of course.
  22. Honestly probably the most interesting news that I could find outside of the Panthers cutting Andrew Parchment. No word yet on Bill Kleenex.
  23. Gale Sayers and Terrell Davis? I think Sterling may have been approaching a special level during the years he played. 18 TDs the year he got injured. Kind of a logjam at WR at this point though. Holt and Bruce probably deserve it more, and they're not even guarantees. Steve Smith deserves a spot, statistically anyway.
  24. Interesting statement. Hard to disagree that he was a special upper echelon player, but I guess I don't think it's that watered down, especially compared to the other major sports. Baseball is incredibly watered down (Harold Baines?!) and in hockey, if you scored 700 points and left a mark then you get a ticket (other than Mogilny which continues to be a weird, borderline hilarious travesty at this point). I think over time there's some sense to creating some best of the best category since naturally there's just going to be a lot of people, even if you restricted to 2-4 a year.
  25. I thought this thing went off the rails about 3 minutes in with Cousins at #99. The posterboy for QB purgatory, let's give that guy some claps. Seems like Poyer's gonna get slighted. What a shame, he's easily top 100. Maybe they slide him in top 50, that wouldn't be too outlandish but it feels too high. Cousins, Mac Jones, various random 49ers, but no Poyer is something.
