  1. The franchise QB failures mean there's potentially a systemic problem with scouting or heck and/or from the top down. You're the one acting like they're just going to conveniently pick up Josh Allen Jr. in the next year or two, with their current roster intact. That's the ultimate hurdle, franchise QBs aren't guaranteed. They always have a really bad QB. But I also disagree with pretty much everything else you've said.
  2. Rolling with Dawson again for us. Khalil Herbert is the most worrisome Bear.
  3. OK? So perhaps we're in agreement then. He's the legend so maybe you kick Herbstreit to the curb and try to inject some life, but his listless commentary this year has been a hard listen. Maybe he doesn't like Herbstreit, there's always that angle.
  4. A Super Bowl? C'mon man. Both Moore and Mims wanted off the team just less than 2 months ago. They've got a trio of flashy young players in Gardner, Wilson, and Hall that I think injects a lot more hype than is legitimate. Their defense is not the brick wall that Saleh fanboys want it to be and they're 7-8 for more reasons than their extremely sub-par QB play. Also, it's not like a franchise QB just inevitably drifts toward you. As if they're just guaranteed one in the next couple of years while they have their current roster. Their increasingly long list of QB misses is part of the reason why they're still a mess. Why the confidence that they're going to suddenly get it right any time soon?
  5. Herbstreit is insanely boring but he's honestly been providing more content than Michales this year. Al sounds effing depressed or medicated.
  6. I've found Broncos fans to be kind of prickly and contentious. Way more than other fanbases. I've been to two games against the Bills at Mile High and while nobody was in my face like that Raiders Karen, there was a lot of borderline not funny talk and just a general heavy air like these people do not want us sitting here right now. Got probably half a beer tossed on my back after a Denver touchdown although it was disguised as nearby celebration, and honestly could have been. They also get very drunk. Not football, but a friend and I got pretty much chased out of The Pepsi Center (Ball Arena) after a Sabres/Avs games years ago. Sabres got destroyed like 7-1 but we stayed for the whole thing. We exited through some packed stair well, wearing Sabres gear, and there were probably 20 drunk dudes behind us screaming "F New York" and throwing plastic bottles. More and more started joining in so we kind of just booked it as soon as we got downstairs.
  7. Pouring one out for all of the gamblers that suddenly thought Zay Jones was good tonight. The Jets are still a mess, sorry. Don't care how good some talking heads think Saleh or that WR room could be.
  8. Yup. Looking Kelvin Benjamin like recently. I fell for it. Thought playing with Aaron Rodgers with only rookie competition would result in at least a few gift TDs. Nope.
  9. Probably the best thread title on any message board I've ever seen
  10. It's what we expected right? If I'm following correctly he's still on his rookie deal and then is inching toward top-5 money next year, before new deals anyway. His rate is higher than a Hunter Henry or Mike Gesicki anyway. I think he has the potential to be kind of a big deal. Top TE in the AFC East potential. We banked on him and Gabe emerging and both still have a lot of questions but the Dawson run the last couple of weeks has been great to see. And Gabe could go off for 2+ TD in a playoff game. This feels like a great time to point out Mark Sanchez trying to make an awkward, sweaty Dawson's Creek reference over the weekend that made zero sense whatsoever. Knox caught a perfectly normal pass and Sanchez the Brainiac said something to the extent of "Dawson Knox...Dawson's Creek...you can count on him". Thanks for the effort, Buttfumble.
  11. It's not quite this, but I'm a little curious about the attitude myself. I noticed that Diggs was pretty much the first one on the field to celebrate with Bass after the kick, so I still think trying to call him a diva (not you) is dumb and shortsighted, but his frustration may be a very real issue. There's been some weird body language the last couple of weeks to say the least. Maybe it has to do with stats, maybe it has to do with Gabe and McKittrick practically holding hands while running down the opposite sideline on some plays.
  12. Julian Edelman just mad that he'll be in the Dancing With The Stars Hall of Fame before the actual HOF. He's not even very good at the post-game life. Kind of twitchy and creepy on camera.
  13. As a nearly 20 year out of region online listener - WGR sounds like its in quite a sad place right now. I remember hearing far more excitement and better content years ago during the drought. These dudes are just slogging through things and trying to get off air ASAP it seems. And that's after the 1 hour CBS block most weekends.
  14. Can't wait? lol dude. did you let the Pats troll veil down? C'mon, you can't wait for them to have a total disaster in the playoffs? Can we get a little more context on what exactly you think this team should do and why you think this season is a lost cause?
  15. Oh definitely a trade off. Kind of an observation more than anything. Maybe the calculus is to allow secondary players to thrive, maybe it's all just coincidental and he's not very good. I just found it interesting.
  16. For all of the Frazier criticism, he kind of handled Hill despite the TD. He came in well under his normal stat line and general impact. He also completely eliminated Chubb during the Cleveland win. Seems to have a knack for neutralizing the best offensive player for what it's worth. It definitely isn't pretty, but interested to see if the trend continues in future games. With Chicago up next we'll have to wait a couple weeks though.
  17. But a couple more games like this and he'll have the most eye-popping stats as well. I'm sure there are some daily fantasy sport nerd ratios that others may excel at, but if he finishes the season with 4600-38td, and 850-8 on the ground? Hurts might get close but nobody else is doing that.
  18. If the eye test plays and passing stats weren't enough - could easily hit 4600 yards and 38 td through the air - he's on pace to put up 850 and 8 on the ground for his best rushing season ever. His ypc increased again and is now at a career high level after this game as well. He's got to be back at the front of the discussion there's nobody like him.
  19. Didn't care how it got done, but man that was a legendary way to get it done. Allen kind of launched himself back into the MVP discussion as well if you care about those things. Miami might be out at this rate. They're one loss away from doom.
  20. All right boys don’t murder the punter please
  21. Ingold playing games or just that much of a dork that he actually thought Edmunds would dap him up?
  22. 3rd quarter dude. Momentum feels like it’s shifting but you’d think this was the final drive from some of these comments
  23. Seriously. Heaved it. Just awful broken coverage, Tua still sucks
