  1. I admittedly fell for it this year and thought he could do something. I was so wrong. I did however say that the Packers would be awful and miss the playoffs, so 50/50 not too shabby. God there were so many offseason GB defenders. That team is in shambles. Hard to win when you legitimately don't have wide receivers, not to even mention Rodgers problems.
  2. Honestly sucks, I can't take much pleasure in this. We're a far better team anyway, and I really like Hall as a player. Once again there really aren't that many really good, consistent RBs outside of the usual suspects, but he seemed to be well on his way. Good running backs are fun, hope he makes a total recovery.
  3. This team is 3-4 and AirTryHard is declaring divisional supremacy lol. This is the same guy that doesn't want to extend Poyer, a football mind for the ages. Imagine the state of this board, or heck this guys posts, if the Bills lost to the Chiefs by 21. Now we're conveniently just handing out excuses for a 3-4 football team with serious questions at quarterback. More to the point, the brain champs in San Francisco got 62 yard, zero touchdowns and 21 point drubbing for their shiny new toy. They basically got 75% of Singletary without the wins. But hey just wait, eventually Shanahan the all knowing is gonna get 200 yards from this guy that hasn't really played fully healthy in 2+ years.
  4. Yeah poor Android Brady is so torn up about it he was partying on Friday night at Kraft's wedding, in between screaming at his offensive lineman. I completely agree that family is 100x more important yet botox Tom is the one that made the terrible decision. So now I'm allowed to point and laugh after two decades of having that stiff, unlikeable turd shoved in my face as the greatest ever. Of course it was a terrible decision. Further proof that Tom Brady is just an unlikeable, probably not very good dude. I also just now realized how crazy it is that 81 year old professional vodka tester Robert Kraft just had a wedding. Bet there weren't any creepy conversations at that shindig.
  5. I was sort of joking a few weeks ago when I said he'd quit mid-season. Now it's looking very possible. Seriously, how much longer is he really going to last when this dismal team is losing to interim coaches? No way that anti-tomato eating dork commits to a 7-10 season with everything going on.
  6. As expected, there was some terrible football today, but my god that last game was painful. The Donkeys and Steelers need to be banished to some kind of triple A league for the rest of the season. I can even stomach the Texans over those two right now.
  7. Imagine also whining about life at 45. I'm 43 and I had a lot more "s**t" going on at 35, and even more and different "s**t" going on at 25. It's never all roses but I'd hope by 45 you're at least projecting that you're in control. This is why you should probably drink whiskey instead of eating an all spinach diet. Tommy is proving in real time that his protective bubble lifestyle has equipped him with no ability whatsoever to deal with life turbulence. Just a win always baby that will still throw tantrums, as we've already seen multiple times this year.
  8. Apparently Subway not only pulled that ridiculous commercial of his, but also the entire sandwich bwahaha. "Mmm this contract is dangerous" *stares into camera vacantly. Enjoy the contract Russ because I think the endorsements might be slowing down. Russell Wilson is great at being the weirdest and also the most overrated QB in the league. I thought both titles belonged to Cousins, but nah it's Russ. I honestly think he's just counting his cash and is completely checked out, but I also think there's a high probability that he'd be making Steve Buscemi from Happy Gilmore style kill lists if he wasn't athletic. He's like an android from the future constantly in the process of learning how to be a human. I just can't take anything that he says sincerely and I have to imagine at least a few of his teammates can't either. Great job, Denver! Let's ride into oncoming I-25 traffic while Russ cooks boiled hot dogs and ramen with a lighter.
  9. Why do I feel like this already happened two years ago? Wish him well anyway, his 2018 season was insane.
  10. Been calling this for a few weeks now but he's going to bail on his team. Bank it. Bucs are already floundering, and if they ever get into a situation where they're against the odds for the postseason - he's out. If they completely stink it up? Oh my god he's out. No way old Noble Tom will play all season. He'll leave them in a heartbeat. I think old CTE and Beet Juice Tom actually thought this was a win it all season, sheesh. I'd take Giselle and my family. This is Tom Brady, bathe in the hate. The greatest QB genius of our time couldn't even make normal life decisions.
  11. Looking forward to taking a break. If I take another Monday off, questions may arise. But if I were a gambling man I'd be eyeballing that ATL-CIN game. Awful defenses and a ton of skill players. Chase and Burrow coming alive. I feel like we're all locked in some horrible Denver purgatory, but I will have eyes on the Jets-Broncos game. God I hate the Broncos so much right now, worst team in the league. NFL and everybody that pitched Russ screwed up terribly in organizing the visibility of that god-awful team. Elway and his weird face and all the owner's children fighting, that team sucks so much. DET-DAL? Who am I kidding, get outside this Sunday
  12. 100%. He's a 270 pound condor with 4 sacks already this year, learning from the absolute best in the game. Tell your friends to buy Greg Rousseau jerseys now.
  13. Patience my international friend, for we already have this - Von Miller and Groot. It's a long season but they're both gonna get 10+ sacks. In other words, Greg Rousseau will eventually be one of those players mentioned above
  14. And that's now both Moore and Mims being vocal about lack of targets and wanting to leave this year. Paper Airplanes. Wake me up when the Fish go on a streak again because the Jets hype is even more ludicrous. They'll win more games with a solid defense and a lucky bounce here and there but that offense is still bottom third of the AFC. The ongoing dysfunction is borderline hilarious. Saleh's a good coach, but he's going to need another year or two. You can't win a Super Bowl when a significant chunk of your skill players want to leave...
  15. This one actually interests me if it could somehow be done. Clear McKenzie/Crowder upgrade obviously. It's probably fantasy Madden world to think it's even likely because the Jets won't just toss him over to the division leader, but I could see him thriving with Josh. Just give Josh your young, fast (4.34 40) and hungry, and they'll thrive.
  16. Sorry, but are we really sure that defenses are "scared" of a guy that has rushed for 3 touchdowns in the last two years? I think everybody's in wait and see mode, not fearful. 2019 was a very long time ago in football years. Also fun fact - Singletary has averaged more yards per carry in his career. 4.7 to CMC's 4.6
  17. Kind of a weird trade, but hey it works for us. Really surprised by how much Kittle has been an afterthought in that offense this year and that's likely only going to continue now. He was the second coming of Kelce seemingly a year ago, now he's lucky to get 6 targets a game. Feels like a situation with too many mouths and not a good enough QB to feed them all, but will definitely be interesting to watch.
  18. HIs pace this year should put him over 9k career yards and 60 TD already at a young 29 years old with plenty left in the tank. He plays the type of game that should allow him to last pretty long too, he hardly gets touched on some catches. He's been on a run these past few years and could statistically end up in some pretty rare air. Add a ring or three and Diggs could have an incredible career.
  19. What? Is the insinuation that his name is not Josh Allen? This is about as weird as your random comment about not wanting Poyer extended the other day that you also didn't respond to.
  20. The mediocrity of these AFC West teams continues to be one of the most surprising things going on this season. Wasn't Herbert supposed to challenge Allen this year?
  21. I thought this thread was going to be a sarcastic dig at Mahomes. I honestly thought Mahomes was pretty unimpressive today. He's been a wizard during other games so I'm not discounting him at all in general, but he threw some ugly balls today.
  22. I bet the Packers take them out late November. I've been down on the Packers since preseason and think they're a fringe playoff team at best let alone a potential NFC champ, but that looks like a good spot for them to start getting right as they start to make a push for the playoffs. Other than that...yeah, what a cake schedule. Maybe the Giants give them some trouble if they're at all for real?
  23. Brady's going to quit before the season is over, been calling it since about week 3.
  24. You'd definitely hope so, but I've known more than one person from daily fantasy sports betting that just max out credit cards since they're acceptable at most sites.
  25. Why exactly are you any % against it, let alone so adamantly against it? I mean, outside of general trolling and pessimism. You seem to think you have a good reason
