Man who hates everything chimes in on his hatred for the Hines trade, what a shocker. Yawn * 1000 You can break out graphs and charts and endless amounts of proof about how Cook and Hines are not the same player, but folks like this aren't ever going to listen.

Week 8, 10/30/2022, Packers v. Bills GAME BALLS
Nelius replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah think I’ve got the same. Oliver, Diggs, Milano. Singletary. Hamlin played well all things considered to spice it up a bit. Bass did his job. This game will be remembered as more boring than sloppy. -
A “decent receiver” It was all pretty foolish but Jaire by far had the worst response. Diggs handled the live postgame like a master and loser Jaire is offering these somewhat nervous childish retorts. Diggs is too smart for these dorks

We need somebody else to step up, agreed. May not technically have to be a WR. I liked what I saw from both Knox and Cook tonight. Would love to see either getting 5+ more targets a game and then potentially problem solved, maybe. I don’t completely disagree though. I like Gabe and still think he’s a timebomb that will probably go off for 160+ and a score or two once or twice more this year, but he’s way too inconsistent for a #2 in this type of offense with this QB. We need a 1B like Waddle, and unfortunately that is not Gabe right now.

We need to start using Cook a lot more and just let Cook Cook!!!
Nelius replied to Toyo321's topic in The Stadium Wall
They should just stop all of the cute McKenzie handoff stuff. Even if it were Shakir just stop it. Let them both be wide receivers, we have a real gadget guy now. Those 3 McKenzie sweeps a game or whatever should now transition to finding Cook out in space. I thought he looked great tonight. -
NFL Week 8: Packers at Bills - post game thread
Nelius replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
He still throws a beautiful ball but who’s he going to throw it too? Beyond that he’s clearly slower. Not just his legs, seems his trigger is slower too so he’s taking more hits, exactly what he doesn’t need as he looks way more frail on top of it all. I think he’s well over the hump. -

They are truly going to be one of the worst teams in the league for years to come without sweeping organizational changes. I honestly feel bad for Aaron Jones, hoping he doesn’t rot on that team for the next few years. Can’t believe people thought they were an SB possible this off season. Rodgers is a shell of himself from just 2 years ago and his contract has ruined them. Gonna be a case study in incompetence years from now. -
NFL Week 8: Packers at Bills - post game thread
Nelius replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sloppy but they’re so good it really doesn’t matter. I was mentally prepared for a loss because statistically a couple more are coming, and this game is slightly more meaningless than some of the others (also why I’m worried about MIN), so I wouldn’t have been surprised. Thankfully Green Bay is pretty awful. Bottom third team, called it after the draft. The sky is falling stuff is pretty hilarious though. Josh had a stinker off a bye and still won. Burrow, Herbert, and Carr have stinkers regularly and lose miserably because of them. Worrying about this team right now seems like a pretty short sighted opinion. -

I remember him getting stomped by Brady and throwing 2 awful interceptions to no TDs, the ankle is news to me -

Aaron looks like he’s melting and very old but man he still throws a beautiful ball. Even when it goes to nobody -

Laying out a bit of a blueprint perhaps. I’d like to see some more control. There’s this “how dare you” mentality with the WRs right now that needs to go. Probably gonna be this way every week now, gentleman, keep your heads. -

Pretty sloppy game yeah but imagine having any anxiety against this worthless Packers team. I think many are drastically underestimating the amount of terrible football in the NFL right now. Josh got a little chippy and made some mistakes with a cushion en route to an easy win coming off a bye week. The stretch armstrongs of the board will make some super cool contrarian threads about it, but I think this game speaks to our dominance. -

Trump vs. DeSantis, who is your man?
Nelius replied to Tiberius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How will it not be Trump? If he wants it it's his. If It's not Trump he's going to go nuclear on DeSantis. We saw what he did to 19 other Republicans or whatever. It's an insane record, and this is honestly just jokes and wishful thinking right now. For so much talk about Trump vs. the Dems, the real story is Trump's complete ownership over the Republican party and he's just gearing up. Just wait until he starts taking public jabs at DeSantis, 50% of you will melt. DeSantis can't stay in the ring with a healthy, sharp Trump. -
Consistently anti-war, other than Syria. I think the inexperienced politician thing is also a big deal. She's played the flip flopping properly in that we're all talking about her, but yet she's still a very inexperienced politician that never really did anything impactful for her constituents, so much so that the majority seems to very much dislike her. That matters. Agree with your second point entirely, but in the case of Tulsi Gabbard, there's a tremendous amount of evidence of her actually being very pro-war. Has she had a true change of heart, or is it uh, money? I guess none of us will really know. The thing about Tulsi though is she completely disappears, which I think will impact her rise. She doesn't have the Trump, Lake energy. She kind of pops up, says something that causes some minor waves, and then falls off the map for months. That's not gonna cut it.

Montgomery is not the answer. He has a career 3.9 ypc and is often just not very good. I see that Motor's quite nice career 4.7 ypc has already been debated, and I agree that he's no Fred Taylor, but you still don't give his carries to a true sub 4.0 guy. He'll plod like Moss and probably won't even pass block as well. Chicago knows Khalil Herbert is better, and even Herbert is a late round, short, not super fast Bears type of purgatory player. The Bears are Losman era Bills right now, don't take any of them. Too bad the Cowboys weren't floundering because what we really need is a guy like Tony Pollard if anything. An underused potential gamebreaker that above all can catch. Perhaps Cook can be that guy, but I wouldn't hate a vet that could show him those same ropes. Cook is kind of turning into a true X factor right now, we're almost relying on him to mix it up at some point If we're dreaming give me D'Andre Swift with some Beane magic for cheap because it doesn't make a ton of sense to still be awful and hoard a skilled RB, but other than that I'm okay with our current squad.

Ha whoops, I guess this was the proper thread for the Rodgers bashing. I put my Rodgers hate in the guess the score thread. Rodgers is going out like a somehow more annoying Marino. He will not win another ring. He has nobody to throw to. He looks bad himself. All of the fawning and #1 in the game BS from the "analytics gurus" will mean nothing when this guy retires with a single ring, a bunch of bad stories about his personality, and a whole lot of what ifs.

The thing with Tulsi is, that no matter what side she's on, she's always gonna provide that boring C grade hype. Nobody likes her. Hawaiians didn't even like her. She's not some popular force, she's just kind of out there interjecting every once in awhile. Nobody cares. She'll drift further to extremes like Lara Logan, while not actually helping anybody along the way. It's not even that political, it's just the reality of a boring political figure trying to maintain relevance. I honestly think she gave up her leverage and is just gonna be another voice in the noise now. It would have been easier to be a Dem countering things behind the scenes. Clearly that wasn't profitable enough.

Sammy Sosa will make the Hall of Fame before Antonio Brown does, which means never. AB had it. He deserved it years ago. But there's no way he's getting in at this point. And he's still a ticking timebomb, he can somehow still ruin his legacy even more. It seems foolish to get this far ahead but Diggs is absolutely on the warrior's path. 1500 yard seasons are nothing to sneeze at, let alone potentially many of them. Hopefully the ABs of the world are looking up at him in Canton when all is said and done.
