He did he even just acknowledged and sort of apologized for it -

But he's not a "running QB". He's already got two passing TDs! He's a a freak with a cannon who can also run. Celebrate it. -

This WGR broadcast is torture. If I have to hear that Cars 4 Kids serial killer jingle one more ***** time I'm hurling myself off the roof. -
Looks like Shady will be a Bill in 2019
Nelius replied to Starr Almighty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If all parties are interested then I have no problem with it. Shady's earned one last chance to show that he hasn't completely lost it. I still want them to draft and/or bring in a younger back, ideally someone like Ajayi or Tevin Coleman and not some 30 year old journeyman (watch it be Doug Martin...). -
A Few Thoughts about the Pats Game, In no particular order
Nelius replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The constant emoji closing in every single post kind of makes you come across like a lonely old cat lady that still plays with dolls. ***** is weird. -
What about all of the money he's made for a lackluster football career? Did Ricky Williams have issues or did he make a personal choice when he stepped away because he didn't want to stop smoking? Maybe I'm jaded, but some of the opinions here are so soft. This guy might just be a selfish, lazy dude playing damage control - not some heart wrenching sob story. The guy has more access to money and resources than you or I ever will. If he wanted to heal himself once and for all he could. It would take a lot of time and money, but he's got both now.

Way to cherry pick to frame your "argument". I have like 8 other posts here that made my point entirely clear. Point blank - I simply don't believe that his issue is as serious as some are making it, considering his history. You can choose to disagree and act like the subject matter expert as I'm sure you have multiple tabs open on the topic and are now an addiction expert. I personally believe that this guy just likes to smoke weed, got caught AGAIN, and is playing damage control. I guess we'll see who's right soon enough. If TMZ snaps a pic of him clubbing or he joins a reality TV series within the year, I'm not going to shed a tear for him.

I've been stopping/starting when I need to for decades. Now that I have degrees and a career, I'm all about daily rides on the MJ train. I've also earned it. If I needed to stop tomorrow, I would, and could. The worst thing that happens after you stop is that your dreams become so vivid for a few weeks that you may roll out of bed. The horror!
-
Why is it so impossible for people to understand that he may just be incredibly selfish and undisciplined and chose to smoke and/or drink, got caught, and is now playing damage control? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me six times, and I'm an idiot. It's entirely possible that some of these guys don't want/care to stop, and that may be more so due to entitlement, celebrity, and money than some hardcore addiction...
-
LOL at some of these bleeding hearts. He's a rich TMZ celebrity that trashed houses with Manziel. Football has been secondary to him for years. His statement was pre-emptive damage control and nothing else. Guarantee Gordon is more likely to be seen clubbing it up in South Beach than at a rehabilitation center anytime soon. Don't be a sucker.

Josh Allen’s Adjusted Completion Percentage = 72.7%
Nelius replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, not at all. But you however, are a clear and obvious troll that has likely been here before. You're not terribly good at it in all honesty. -

The "new guy" is 100% a troll. He's running all over the board in a desperate attempt to be contrarian. He's trolling. -

Oh nevermind, I see what this guy is doing. Keep chugging along, edgelord. -

Hell, I'll still take 23rd from a "project" QB only 15 weeks into his first season. Even that's a hell of a lot better than what many were predicting. He's outplaying what his critics said no matter how you look at it. -
And the ridiculous continued faith in Bortles. And the stubbornness and general buffoonery of Marrone. And the apparent rampant lack of discipline (Fournette throwing punches, Ramsey's mouth, etc.) The Jags suck. They peaked last year.

First Half: Wk 15 Lions at Bills 1 pm FOX
Nelius replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Might say something about his trust in Ford. I'd much rather Josh keep the ball than the 4th-string running back... -
DeAndre Hopkins is still quietly the best receiver in the game by the way.
-
See Hopkins performance against the Jets tonight. It's more than the best WR that you have. It's a dependable, game changing wide receiver that can alter everything. We haven't had one since Moulds.

Who is Rooting for Miami (sorta)?
Nelius replied to billsfan_34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just can't. I'm old enough to still feel the hate and they're still the most boring team in football despite that random TD last week. I hope the Pats lose everything and Bellicheat ***** himself on live TV, but screw Miami. -
Right on, I agree with most of this, but if Ryan's in that third tier then I'd move him to the head of the pack and knock Stafford out of it completely. I think Ryan is pretty much in lock-step with Luck right now, although far more durable which is a huge plus. Big Ben, Wilson, Goff are in that cloudy second realm too, I wouldn't have issue with anybody ranking Ryan ahead of any of them. Mahomes can definitely hang with the big boys and is probably a step ahead.
-
Yeah, 2 of 6 despite the results is kind of hard to argue with as it's still well outside of Brady/Rodgers/Brees, but it's still much better than the Lions, or Bengals, or most of the league. I'll settle with Matt Ryan being in a lonely B+ tier all by himself. He's definitely outgrown the Stafford tier.
-
I don't get how losing the Super Bowl = struggling to contend for the playoffs? Choke or not that team with Ryan was 2nd best recently, which I would assume should mean something to a fanbase that prides itself on an extended run as the 2nd best. I should add that I'm not a fan of Stafford, and I don't think Cousins was worth it. Neither are in the same tier as Matt Ryan in my opinion. That's kind of my point. Ryan should be edging his way into the elite, but he's still largely mired in the mid-tier with these QBs who truly haven't done anything. Ryan lost a Superbowl, Stafford can't win a playoff game.
