  1. Couldn’t agree more, but was it McDermott or Beane? Somebody deserves credit for this defense and I feel like that’s largely McDermott, but somebody also deserves a s**t ton of blame for the state of this offense especially considering recent moves and I feel like that has to be Beane. Could be completely wrong of course, but I feel like we collectively always group the two together. What if one is okay and the other is completely out of his league?
  2. But why not just grab somebody waiting for a job if this is the scenario? Peterman might be the worst QB to ever suit up in the history of the NFL. That ain’t hyperbole, the stats support it. Why not ditch Peterman and grab anybody available for a spot start? Seriously Is this Stockolm Syndrome or something? How tf does anybody think Nate Peterman is a capable NFL QB at this point??! What more do you all need to see???
  3. I sincerely don’t get it. It’s really the #1 thing that makes me question this regime right now, and if this happens I may go into full blown “F the process” mode. Peterman does not belong in the NFL and I have to imagine that most teams would have dropped him long ago. To start him at this point is just insane. WTF are you trying to do McBeane? None of this should be about your ego’s at this point. If this truly happens, and fails again, then get them all out of here.
  4. Woods is the biggest loss to me, but to be fair Goodwin likely won’t do anything this year while chronically injured without Garapollo, Hogan has seemingly taken a step back (although he’ll probably go for like 170 in a playoff game because Patriots), and Sammy isn’t really even a #2 right now so I get it from a management perspective. Woods however is so legit. I see people talking about him being a dependable #2/#3 in their comparisons to Zay and I wonder where they’ve been the last two seasons. Bob Woods is Hines Ward light right now. Goff loves him. He’s one of the best legit #2’s in the league and is bordering on #1 status. Don’t sleep, we should have never let him go.
  5. You didnt answer. Convenient. Nobody in their right mind thinks Fitz and Peterpick are interchangeable, friend. Thanks for playing.
  6. Simple question for the third time wordsmith: do you think Fitz and Peterman are interchangeable?
  7. Meh, he looked good yesterday.
  8. God that’s gross. Daboll is awful.
  9. Man, AJ Green is so underrated year after year after year. He’s absolutely one of the best WRs in the NFL.
  10. When you completely muff three entire games, then that’s more than enough. His career should have been over before yesterday, but he played, and once again we saw what happened. He’s had more than enough chances in this league. Does anybody really ever want to see him in a game again? Is there still some weird, give him another shot contingent on this board?
  11. No, I’m a rational, sober human being. Will just ask instead of continuing to derail - do you truly think there’s no difference between Fitz and Peterman?
  12. Dude, you’re crazy. You’re trying to claim that Fitz and Peterman are the same. Fitz is also light years beyond the corpse of Derek Anderson. Just stop.
  13. I’m only arguing that he’s better than Peterman, Derek Anderson, and the current Josh Allen. A poster in this thread acted like Fitz and Peterman are interchangeable - does any rational non-troll really believe that?
  14. I never said that playing a qb early destroys their development in general. Not at all, you’re putting words in my mouth. However if they’re completely lost, develop the yips, start taking awful hits, etc., then continuing to trot them out there could absolutely ruin their development now that you mention it. Killing the kid isn’t going to make him better... Fair enough
  15. I don’t understand your answer, sorry. What do you mean there’s nothing to discuss if he gets hurt? Like we just forfeit the season or something? He is hurt, and I’m not at all comfortable with Derek Anderson and I guess Logan Thomas (?) behind him.
  16. He replicated it against us with a much worse Jets team one time.
  17. I don’t completely disagree, but what if he gets hurt? Completely unravels? Needs to take a seat for the sake of not completely ruining his development? Peterman is no longer a real option so are we all really comfortable with Derek Anderson? If the defense keeps playing like this we simply can’t accept 85 yards passing. Allen is the future (hopefully) but you can’t dismiss everybody else and their efforts if he continues to struggle like he is.
  18. What? Fitz doesn’t have an interception rate anywhere near Peterman, and while he does throw interceptions, he also throws touchdowns, and multiple completions, many of which are like (gasp!) 20 or more yards downfield. I can absolutely understand the eye rolling and apprehension, but if you don’t realize that Fitz is currently on a much higher tier than any of our current QBs, then I don’t know what to tell you.
  19. Dude you have been doing this since Losman. Over a decade of being an absolute pessimist about our QBs across multiple message boards. If it’s trolling, it’s beyond pathetic and weird at this point. If it isn’t, then you sincerely may want to find a new team because you clearly have disliked this one for over ten friggin years now.
  20. This would be like the Bills having interest in Julio Jones and AJ Green if Zay Jones went down... Eagles are a mess.
  21. I really don't get why they don't just roll with Clement, Smallwood, and maybe pick up a power back elsewhere. Ajayi was decent but he's not Bell or Shady. Eagles are panicking it seems.
  22. Totally agree and want to add that Justin Tucker is the most under appreciated dude in the NFL. He's automatic. It's such a boost to have a weapon like that.
  23. Thank you. Signed in just to say this but you beat me to it. Second time that moron has called out “liberalism” in an attempt to explain the rules. It’s not “liberals”, it’s Goodell (a known conservative for the matter, hey-yo). His dad was a famous Repub you dweeb.
  24. Yes, really. Russell Wilson won a Super Bowl, has been to 4 Pro Bowls, has statistically been a top QB for several seasons, and he could potentially start for another 6-8 years. Kaepernick never did this, Tyrod Taylor never did this, Dak Prescott never did this, etc. Where are you people coming up with these lousy comparisons? Like him or not, and regardless of what he does this year, Russell Wilson is firmly in Tier 2 QB territory with the likes of Rivers, Cam, and Big Ben.
