Landry's going to get tossed if this stays close. Can't wait. -

Dude no, I couldn't disagree more sorry. I want our franchise QB to score points. Whatever it takes, I don't care how ugly this game gets. If Allen completes 32% of his passes but goes 7-2 over Baker then it's truly all that matters. -

ALLEN!!!!! Are some of you from the future? What is this sorcery? I'm streaming and listening to WGR and am minutes behind some of these updates -

Feels like a great time for a Baker interception. I'm anticipating at least 2 or 3. -

That was absolutely incredible. -
Amazing how the National Press Ignores the Bills
Nelius replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually think people will annoyingly jump back on the bandwagon if/when we win. We'll be 7-2 in a weird muddled AFC with another AFC notch, it's going to be hard to ignore. I'm almost liking the hate right now, it will be incredible to see the heads spin Sunday evening. -
What is your perfect scenario for this weekend?
Nelius replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We win. I don't really care how it's done. I'll take another AFC notch, we'd be in great position. But I hope Baker melts down completely. If Allen is going to be playing clowns like him and Darnold (Rosen doesn't matter anymore) for years to come then I hope he truly gains the upper hand this weekend and proves he's in the top tier of that class, thus setting up the real argument of Allen vs. Jackson for the rest of the season and beyond. Dolphins win, Ravens lose, Steelers win. I think the Ravens are pretty much a lock but let's make the AFC even messier. A dream scenario would be Pittsburgh going on a run and taking the division, and the Bills and Raiders getting the wild cards. The Ravens are currently terrifying. -
Yeah I'm following, so let them have the 6th spot. Raiders grabbing the 6th is a continuation of a best possible scenario season for the Bills. I'd rather the Raiders go on a run than the Chargers or Steelers personally. I'm clearly framing this optimistically and assuming the Bills are a 5th seed lock, but it looks so good right now.

Beat me to it couldn't agree more, especially with the current AFC jumble.

Already? The AFC is so muddled the Charges would have been legit WC contenders had they pulled it off, and they still scare me more.

McKenzie needs to be active at least this year
Nelius replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Except that McKenzie in motion was really messing with the Redskins which kind of negates your entire point. I think they did it every single play on that first TD drive. Yes, granted anybody could probably do it but perhaps he sells it better since he's liable to go 20 yards on a shovel pass. I think this thread is largely about McKenzie vs. Foster anyway, and I don't see how anybody can defend Foster at this point. Zay's gone, so if you move on from Foster as well then there should be room for both Duke and McKenzie. Unless of course you think that we should still just wait until next week again for Robert Foster to get his first reception of the year... -
Singletary. I enjoyed the coming out party. For those keeping score he now has 7.1 yds per touch across 52 touches. Apparently the sample size was too small for some last week. I'm excited to see what he continues to do and think some are still selling him short. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he ends up spoiling the fantasy discussion and has a better game than either Chubb or Kareem Hunt next week

[Misleading Title] Bills 2.5 points favorite over the Browns
Nelius replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Check out these Cleveland alarmists acting like the Browns are some well-oiled machine. They'll FINALLY come out on all cylinders while our ho-hum inept team butt fumbles their way to 10 points or something. Get out of here, Cleveland is awful. Denver doesn't even want to win anymore but couldn't give the game away to these stooges today. Yes, Nick Chubb is worrisome, but in reality Kitchens will probably inexplicably under-utilize him while Baker throws three first half interceptions. This Browns fear is hilarious. Has anybody actually watched that dumpster fire this year? -
[Misleading Title] Bills 2.5 points favorite over the Browns
Nelius replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"bang average"? They won again today and are in the playoff picture in a much better NFC. It's lazy at this point to sell Philly short in an attempt to dump on this team. Yet they still can't even beat the Brandon Allen led Broncos. Cleveland is a mess. -
You just agreed with a post that basically stated that years of experience has led to your distrust of doctors, so Williams is now a "mammoth idiot" for what, not being as old as you? He's retroactively an idiot because you in your old age have figured out that doctors are drug pushers? What an insane comment. Williams is not out of bounds for trusting his multi-million dollar medical staff.

Let's add 9 receptions and he's still at nearly 8 yards per touch. Why wouldn't you give him the ball more often? It really seems a better option than dismissing 29 touches as luck, or whatever. I truly don't understand why some are dismissing this rookie who was billed as a playmaker, and is currently living up to the hype? He just had a TD last week, where is this pessimistic attitude coming from? Of course you give him the ball more.
-
7.9 yards per touch across 20 rushes and 9 receptions. That's ALL open space? Seems to me he has some kind of burst to still be averaging nearly 8 yards after almost 30 touches. And hell burst or not, if he's practically going to get a 1st down every single time he touches the ball, I'd say that shows more potential to be a playmaker than anybody else on this roster.

My pessimistic B- is now a solid C. He definitely shouldn't be getting worse, I'm not a fan.

Glazer: Bills are still in market for a WR
Nelius replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As does his blocking. He was a great story last year but I think he went undrafted for many reasons. We all know he's only here because of Daboll anyway. -

Nelius replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed, which is exactly why the should bet the farm on Mike Evans. Durable, 6'5" with a near-40" vertical. Let him bail out Josh on a regular basis. -
I almost feel bad for him. Almost. Everybody and Mitch Trubisky's mother knew it was a reach.
