  1. He was statistically better through two games last season but I definitely remember similar conversations about people still doubting him through the first two weeks last year, particularly after the first Jets game. All the way through Week 7 really, many were ready to kick him to the curb after the Titans game, more after the Chiefs loss the next week. So maybe just maybe he'll pick things up a bit.
  2. They completely shut down Tyreek Hill. Nice one, Ravens.
  3. Is Derrick Henry creeping into the best ever RB conversation at this point? He's incredible. Clearly picking up where he left off last year which puts him on a 3 year stretch that I can't remember since maybe Terrell Davis?
  4. I mean...35-0 Has that even happened before? People are dismissing this like we regularly shut teams out...
  5. How about flashes of elite play (Diggs TD pass) while shutting out a division opponent in only week 2? Maybe things will get better? I’m not opposed to criticism so much as the “put up or shut up” comment...after today, which I just found funny.
  6. I get that he has looked better and made some really bad throws today, but all of the talk about how “he better earn that money” and “no excuses” after a 35-0 blowout is weird. Isn’t that more so putting up than shutting up? If Josh wins a ring but does it with a pedestrian 3500 passing yards and 84 rating, is there going to be disappointment?
  7. “Grrrr it’s put up or shut up time”...as the team shuts out a division opponent So you just want stats basically?
  8. Aaron Rodgers has a man bun now? Man for all of the Allen worry here imagine dealing with that mess in GB.
  9. 35-0 ho hum. Trust me guys I know quarterbacks.
  10. There’s still plenty of time for people to whine about a 35+ point victory.
  11. You know some refs are good, and then some refs are bad...(awkward silence) Heck of a game, Matt Millen.
  12. Meanwhile Sam Darnold looks like the best QB in the league, because we’re only 6 quarters deep which is pretty much meaningless...
  13. Glad it worked out obviously but once again even the play by play guy was like “just got it away”
  14. Already nervous about this Haack from the end zone punt
  15. It’s those takes at this point that are hilarious. Josh isn’t even a good NFL player now? Lol ok
  16. I’m mildly concerned but folks are in here acting like Josh didn’t just throw an MVP caliber TD like 20 mins ago...
  17. Bills - 17 Dolphins - 13 Our now traditionally slow start continues and we will not be happy with the product and mass panic will continue, but it's an extremely valuable W and things will continue to get better
  18. Yes, but then about 3 or 4 hours later I do often take a peak at the post-game thread and turn on WGR in case I missed any entertaining meltdowns. Then pretty much off for a few days until the week starts picking up.
  19. Trying really hard and can't think of a more boring team
  20. Just in case you're not aware Chris Simms is probably the biggest Josh Allen homer not named Jordan Palmer. He loves Allen, he's almost annoyingly positive about Allen in all instances. I think this is a pretty solid, critical breakdown. Frustrating really.
  21. Moss was impressive in college, and while it's open to personal opinion, I thought he showed some flashes last year. Regardless, considering his competition, isn't it much easier at this point to say that Matt Breida has never been an impressive player (5th NFL season) than Moss (2nd NFL season)? Breida has never really done anything other than flash potential every once in awhile, and even that was 2-3 years ago at this point. It's not as if we should all respect Matt Breida as some vet that's proven himself, he's never even been a feature back. At this point he's barely a running back.
  22. I didn't mind adding Breida to the stable to see if he could recapture what he had truly 2 years ago, but I did not think it would come at the expense of Moss. Some fun Breida facts - He hasn't scored a touchdown, rushing or receiving, since October 7th, 2019. He had more fumbles (2) than touchdowns (0) last year. For all of his incredible breakaway speed, he's had only a single 20+ yard run since he was with the Niners. Only a single 40+ yard run going back to 2018. I don't know, maybe Breida can't really contribute much at RB any more, in which case he's solely an ST contributor, in which case they're really only dressing one back? That doesn't seem right at all. If they're this committed to Breida on ST as it seems then they really need to figure out a way to also get Moss dressed.
