  1. Sorry honest question, what was the issue with him last year? I'm only seeing he went for 90 catches and 1134 yards. Love the Hines Ward comparison. He's getting there statistically YOY now as well, he's a great wide receiver. Too much time has passed to maybe say we'd be "better off" but it's hard to argue that somebody as good as him wouldn't compliment.
  2. Yeah you're probably correct in regard to "nobody credible", but it took two seconds to find that walterfootball.com as recently as last week declared that they thought that the Jets "had a chance to reach the playoffs" pre Jamal Adams departure. but again you're probably right.
  3. 239-2-2 and most importantly, an L Brady sucks. they pre-season hype is going to be hysterical by about week 5 or 6. Equally hilarious - the almighty Gronk went off for 2 catches, 11 yards, 0 TDs. 2-11-0. hahahahahahaha
  4. He was great, after years of being great. I couldn't comprehend why he was being mentioned with potential cuts in the offseason. We have one of the best, most consistent returners in the league.
  5. Baker laid an egg. Darnold laid an egg, again. Rosen is practically out of the league. Rejoice Bills fans.
  6. This offense carved them up today. Josh was in total control. Of course he needs to correct the errors, but there was no question of who was the better QB. And that's a division rival. For all of the hate I definitely remember many thinking the Jets were a savvy playoff pick a few months ago, but now they're just the Jets since Adams left, or something. I'll take Josh Allen in a wild shootout with any team, turnovers included.
  7. I absolutely love how just about every talking head Twitter "sports journalist" dork is making the same tired joke about Allen's endzone overthrow, in a desperate attempt to keep their 2018 projections intact, while he goes off for 300 yards, multiple scores, and an 11-6 regular season record since the start of last year. It's like they're in so deep with their awful takes that they can only double down on their Allen hate at this point. MVP-MVP-MVP
  8. B+ is a solid score, I agree. I think it's alright to dock him for the two fumbles, an A+ requires total perfection. But man I am so excited, Allen is an absolute beast. He may be a true MVP contender. We're quibbling over B's or A's while our 1st round franchise QB goes off for 300 yards and multiple scores and yet another W. We've come so far. I may be a little off with his first year stats but I think he's 17-12 as a starter now, and I know for sure he's 11-6 in the regular season since last year. He's one of the best in the AFC already, let's go.
  9. I went full homer - grabbed Diggs, and both Singletary and Moss as a handcuff. Figure I have a very solid back between the two. I've also got Lamar Jackson and Saquon so it felt like a luxury I could afford.
  10. Really like Sutton. I'm really not terribly worried about the Broncos this year, especially after the Von Miller news, but watch this open the door for a Jeudy hot start. I still think he's going to be the best WR out of the draft.
  11. The attitude rumors have to be somewhat real at this point, right? Either he's a limited QB, or he's a potentially talented QB with a bad attitude. I don't want either.
  12. Movie in the making. Is Rosen really that bad/limited? I feel like the giant attitude warning coming out of college has to still play a part, and maybe he really is that much of a turd in the locker room. It's reason enough in my opinion
  13. yes you're right, honestly felt like he was drafted a couple of years ago. Andy Isabella is amazing, great to see him sticking around but still, would take our WR group over even that stack that includes two legends. nice.
  14. Hakeem Butler got cut, which reminded me that people here wanted him years ago, which then reminded me that it's so awesome that we're now at a point with our receiving group that nobody cares. 3 years ago there would be multiple threads if anybody like Hakeem Butler was available. I also realize that I'm now that guy bringing up Hakeem Butler, but whatever. It's so awesome that WR is a strength now after years of playing which 4th string wide receiver could we pick up and make a star.
  15. Best news I've heard today. Got to love John Brown too, what a vet to have in the room right now. Same with Beasley, Diggs, man. It's really incredible how quickly WR has become a strength for this team. It seemed like a rut we were never going to get out of for so long post-Moulds. Josh and Gabe Davis are going to have a connection this year. You can feel it coming.
  16. Lamar Miller? What year is this? Isn't he like an older, slower Jordan Howard but with injury problems? I'm really not the least bit concerned. New England looking shaky this year.
  17. Of course you resign Matt Milano. Absolutely love what he's saying about Edmunds, but it also makes it clear that Milano is currently a leader in that room.
  18. No, I would not at all be cool with letting this devolve into a trade situation. He's not unhappy, he's just considering opting out of a likely plague-shortened season.
  19. I mean if thousands of "fans" are getting it wrong and harassing me and I was only 25 years old, I may consider just tweeting once to clear the air a bit. Which he did. I seriously expected an AB like meltdown with the way some of you are responding. He made one tweet, and now the self-righteous old man fan collective is ready to label him a primadonna...
  20. I'm seeing a single tweet. That's being immature and mishandling the situation? I guarantee his DMs and mentions are making him feel real good about staying in Buffalo right now...Twitter sucks.
  21. Yeah, but then you realize some have also died. Do you really want to roll those dice? Rhetorically speaking, that's not really an open invite for the tough guy hoax screamers to proudly yell about how many places they'd be willing to take their children right now. They can also carry the virus and give it to you, your mother, your innocent old neighbor minding her business, etc. and around and around we go for the 1000th time on this board. Well yeah that's exactly the case. It's certainly not a requirement for multimillionaires to entertain you.
  22. Gamble. No shame. I haven't left the house in 4 months and it's legal here, and if there's more than a few of us we probably don't need the meeting anyway and its just going to inevitably devolve into smaller meetings to recap the bigger meeting.
  23. It just won't end. Hasn't he retired 3 times now? Two years from now I'm still going to be stuck in the house reading about Antonio Brown waffling on a comeback, I swear.
  24. I respectfully disagree, but I'm not going to die on the hill if you think otherwise. It's all good. I just can't take Jordan seriously and thought Fauci treated him the same way.
