  1. I don't really understand our TE situation, but am otherwise cool with all of this. I wasn't even big on Hollister I honestly don't understand how we're going to proceed with only two TE. He's got to either be coming back or they have plans for somebody else. Yeah Gilliam, so maybe 2.5 TE, but it's not going to be enough. I wasn't really ready for this much Sweeney, but Let's go Tommy, I'm rooting for ya. He's definitely going to see more action than I expected. If he's really #2, he's probably going to see a lot.
  2. His 2014 season, man. Color me equally enthralled, Emmanuel. This is the modern day James Lofton addition. Careers are eerily similar right up until about this point, when Lofton then went on to put up 1,000 and went to the Pro Bowl in '91. Wouldn't be shocked if Sanders does something similar, he was still good last year.
  3. I like the idea of mixing in Stevenson at some point but no way you make a rookie the main guy on this team right now. That's a miserable loss waiting to happen. It's got to be McKenzie.
  4. Also have to argue against this a bit, at least in my experience. I've been in Denver for 20+ years and have made it a point to try every single new wing place that gets talked about - nothing even touches your B- wing from Buffalo that you can get from any local sub shop. Granted, that's one city, but it's one large, growing city that seems to import everything else well. Wings, nope.
  5. Fitz looking like he's about halfway through his werewolf transformation. I love this man.
  6. This is more like it after the Tre White nonsense. So I'm assuming that makes him the #3 WR, with Hopkins and Adams left for the top 10. Acceptable. I'm further assuming that Davante Adams will snag the top WR spot because that's been the standard for about two years now. Is he really clearly that much better than every other WR or is that a bit of extra hype because of his career with Rodgers? I understand that he's extremely good, but when you put him in the mix with Diggs, Hopkins, Jones, heck Mike Evans, I don't know if I consider Adams to be the clear #1. I'd personally give the edge to Hopkins, and I think Diggs is in the conversation for #2 right now.
  7. Tre's ranking is ridiculous, easily the most out of place number in the countdown. It's almost as if they got through most of their picks and realized they forgot about him. There's no way the players have him ranked behind Jessie Bates or James Bradberry (what in the world?!). No way, I refuse to believe it. That kind of fall is typically only reserved for players who miss a season, I don't understand the disrespect. Do people think he had an off year?
  8. This isn't even the only rip off, unfortunately. There are tons now, all doing the same Captain Luck thing, and of course none are nearly as funny or interesting.
  9. Mahomes, of course, but Tyreek Hill is a cheat code that remains underrated. Can't be dismissed at this point. Jerk human being maybe, but incredible WR, quickly becoming an all-time deep threat/dynamic player at this point. And then Kelce. Lol no.
  10. I think of this differently. He's got better stats than both of them, and is likely the new floor, so now neither of them are getting in. Other HOF backs other than Thurman that have fewer yards than Edgerrin James - Marcus Allen, Franco Harris, John Riggins, OJ Simpson. And then also Fred Taylor, Corey Dillon, Steven Jackson, etc. etc. If they're going to keep accepting RBs then he's clearly the best choice right now.
  11. Suns-In-4 guy set the bar and won the moron championship when he pummeled a Nuggets fan with uppercuts while simultaneously barking and swinging at his friend. This one is just kind of sad.
  12. Not sure if I feel bad for him or if this maybe continues to validate that he's as much of a jerk as originally advertised, in which case haha. Apparently he was whining about reps recently, so could be a healthy dose of nobody can stand the guy. Twitter seems to think he goes to Atlanta.
  13. Currently drooling all over myself. I've seen Rousseau compared to Jevon Kearse a couple of times before and was like "haha that would be nice" but it's looking more and more like he's legit. The edge presence we've wanted for years? Right now? Oh man.
  14. Will add that if it's at all about "the story of the NFL" more so than stats and rings, then Marshawn should be an absolute lock. Doubtful, but I think he was more impactful/legendary than McCoy, Taylor, Dillon, etc.
  15. He might be right on the...edge (cringe)...but he belongs. He's got more rushing yards than Thurman. He had 3,262 rushing yards his first two years! Led the league both seasons. He was a monster when he first came into the league. He preceded AP in terms of entering the league and just instantly being the scariest back. Heck, Pro Football Reference which are much smarter than you or I when it comes to this stuff have a HOF Meter index that compiles all relevant stats to gauge a guy's chances for making the Hall, and Edge is right there at the cut off, so it seems that he's there statistically. I further agree that longevity, durability, etc. also do count. Curtis Martin was the perfect example before Gore. There are probably less than 10 RBs who were out of this world electric for more than a couple of years tops, so being very good for a decade+ is definitely worth something. MLB is getting even worse at this imo to go off on a wild tangent, They're apparently even reviving a couple of committees to comb back through players that didn't get into the Hall, to see if they belong now apparently. Harold Baines? Now that's a hall of very good. Edge is arguably a top 10 RB of all time - he may just crack the list for sure, but he's orbiting around the 9th/10th spot. That's worth something. He's a step above McCoy, in my personal opinion, who jumps Corey Dillon and Fred Taylor as the ultimate borderline RB candidate that will never get in.
  16. Again, he didn't play poor in back to back games. He took a team that you and the Skip Bayless boys counted out before the wild card, to the Conference Finals. He beat Baltimore, yet contrarian rubes sit back and still concoct arguments for why Lamar might still just be a little bit better... What QB could he better resemble that would give you more confidence? Mahomes is pretty much everybody's #1, so I'll give you that. If you want to count Brady, fine. I don't think it's apples to apples at this point, they don't play the same game. But for legacy's sake, Brady was closing in on 25 years old before he won his first Super Bowl. Hey look, pretty much the same age as Josh. I run into these vague arguments every once in awhile and I guess I'd like more examples. Who are these active, elite QB's that you're comparing him to? Who, if you don't like the deal, would you rather see the Bills take a run on, pro or prospect? Vaguely saying "I don't know man", when everybody else knows, comes across as trolling. Who can Josh Allen be more like to provide you confidence?
  17. He put up a 5-1 TD/INT ratio and an 61% completion percentage, on his way to the Conference Finals. I don't think you're trolling necessarily, I just think you're recycling contrarian talking points that were debunked a season ago. Actually, maybe you are trolling considering you've moved the posts and are now arguing if he's even "legit". Alright I'm out.
  18. What year is this, this reads like a post from two years ago. Dude, Skip Bayless? C'mon. If 45 TDs in the regular season and the Conference Finals isn't enough to inspire hope, then I really don't know what to say. If nothing else I'd consider listening to every other talking head that likes this deal rather than Skip Bayless, who's entire thing is to come up with awful, annoying, contrarian takes about every single subject...
  19. Cool, even less money when they inevitably re-enter the QB market in a year or so.
  20. Yeah I agree 4th right now, but strong candidate as future #2 after Sanders. Just curious if he's getting lost in the shuffle or still progressing.
  21. McKenzie and Breida, assuming he's still San Francisco Breida, give us so much speed. Loving these reports, I hope we see a ton of them. Any word on how Gabe Davis is doing? Obviously hoping he molds into our stud #2 for years but all of this other WR talk has got me wondering if he's the odd man that slips. It's way too early for that talk, I know.
  22. Completely agree with the incremental opinion, but will add that my frustration just about peaked with pretty much everything concerning Peterman in 2018. I was definitely questioning McDermott, wondering if this was kicking off another decade of futility, etc. Started to turn around once we started trusting Josh more and saw obvious improvement. The final Dolphins game his rookie season was a big turning point, that game was pure fun for the first time in a long time as a Bills fan. Settled into low level hope the following year which resulted in playoffs, and haven't looked back since. Completely unaffected by it now, this team will contend for years.
  23. Diggs forever. He's 27 and put up 1500 yards last year. No question. He might still peak!
  24. I've considered Cousins to be the lamest example of a starting QB for about 2 years now - the perfectly average dude that you sink money into that will never, ever get you a ring - but this is truly hilarious. Plexiglass, Kurt?! You dummy. Sometimes that discipline can't be learned, though. You left out an incredibly important stat that dulls everything else - Winston: 30 INT (led the league!) / Allen: 10 I know you weren't necessarily comparing them, but I'm just adding that there are some very good reasons Famous Jameis is still a giant risk despite the gaudy numbers. Top of the list for me personally is the infamous "Eat a W" video where he drools all over his fingers, but his always very poor decision making is right up there as well. He's like rookie year Josh Allen, forever.
  25. Best offseason news ever. Could you imagine if Baker somehow gets more? I'm surprised he's still even in the same conversation as Josh, but people feel this helps set the market for him
