Colts Running Game could limit Bills offense
Nelius replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know that people discount RB performance because "they're a dime a dozen" and all that but are really going to overlook 400 yards over 2 NFL games now? That's really good. He also did that over the last 4 weeks of the season after he seemingly figured something out. Jonathan Taylor is good and could be a problem tomorrow. A small problem hopefully, but not one that should be completely dismissed. Hard to just toss away the fact that the put up 250 yards in just his last game, c'mon now. -

Bills weakness against the run is exaggerated but I feel like Jonathan Taylor's rise over the past 5-6 weeks has been pretty understated. He's really good. 253 yards last week. He's not Henry but he may be the most complete back that we've seen since Henry. I can envision awful scenarios where Taylor and Hines chunk it up while Rivers game manages and dinks and dunks efficiently. Colts shouldn't be able to keep up with us so I hope Allen airs it out early and often. -
Beasley goes from may not play to posting a superbeas-like 11-120-1, chewing the Colts up and serving as the ultimate difference maker. Diggs also goes off but it's Diggs, so not surprising.

Benny the Butcher “We the Mafia” new fight somg

Guy has broken through nationally, is currently one of the biggest names in hop hop, and yet all he wants to do is rep Buffalo any chance he gets. I think it's awesome. There's a new, longer clip that was released. Sounds like it was mixed down better and is more of a complete track. Much, much better than this clip imo. I'm trying to post but have no idea what I'm doing, but the Buffalo Bills Twitter account posted it recently. -
Josh seems like he's a second or two ahead of everybody right now. He completely constructed that no look TD play. Positioned everybody perfectly, literally pointed at least twice to either properly position players, or throw the defense off? Who knows, maybe all of that movement was intended to throw the defense off, but either way, he then capped it with a flick of the wrist no-look TD...nobody does that. It was cute when Baker threw the ball as far as he could into the back of the end zone to none of his receivers for the "longest pass ever in the NFL" but he's nowhere close to Allen's level right now. Allen is in "who's better" conversations with Mahomes. Baker's doing lame commercials and losing to the Jets. I would love to see the Browns in the playoffs. I think Allen destroying Mayfield would be perfect for his legend.

Eagles quite the dumpster fire this year. Where's Wentz going? Niners with the Jimmy G info?

Couldn't agree more! Actually compared them to that Bills era last week. Plus all of Bowlen's kids fighting over the team. They really are a mess. I actually feel bad for Von Miller and think we'll see him in a new uniform soon.

He looks great. Not sure if you saw his ridiculous stat line today (30-253-2) but he's been improving every game. Nyheim Hines is a nice weapon but Taylor has clearly proven himself to be the one to worry about these past few weeks. Which is why I completely agree with stepping on their neck and forcing Old Man Rivers to do something with his 47 year old arm and inability to move in the pocket.

I don't think it's premature to say that Derrick Henry might be a historical force. Like one of the best ever. These last two seasons of his have been unreal and he's running for 200+ a game regularly at this point. He's a terrifying human and I wouldn't mind avoiding him in the playoffs. Logan Thomas is one of the best stories of the year. A legit, good, TE. It's cool to see. And lastly, Broncos have really turned into a bottom dweller. Elway is no Beane, that's for sure. That team is a mess. A mess facing QB purgatory, so they may be a mess for awhile.

Colts and Titans Games Thread... and scenarios
Nelius replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree with all of this, but for the sake of devil's advocate, don't overlook Jonathan Taylor. He's really hitting his stride lately and might be the best back this team has seen since Derrick Henry. 253 yards on the ground today. Thankfully our D has really been stepping up. They're going to need to keep it going because I think everybody including Jim Irsay know that the Rivers isn't going to fully beat you with his arm right now. I expect another 25-30+ Taylor carries. In general though I agree that the Colts currently look like the best team to face. Steelers and Browns aren't too terrifying imo either, so this is shaping up quite nicely with one of them guaranteed to survive next week. -

Allen is blowing my mind. Always been on the wagon but I didn't expect him to be throwing no look TD passes. He's statistically better than Mahomes right now. We have a top 2 QB, it's unreal. -

It's a 29 second t-shirt commercial with some audio fun. I can't find anything that intended for this to be a real thing other than the OP's opinion. Even the tweet referenced is to promote his new Buffalo Bills themed shirt. I wouldn't doubt if these guys were just ad-libbing over a 45 minute t-shirt shoot and this was the product. This isn't supposed to be the new Shout song lol. -
I've come around on it. Who knows, maybe maintaining the same rhythm is better Covid prep in some way, of which this team has done a pretty good job of managing so far. We've kept a pretty healthy team together for the most part so I'm okay with the professionals just doing their thing. On the brightside if Allen stays upright and healthy for even just a half he's got a good shot at 4500-35, which is just awesome.

Their second hand vinyl sells for $2k+ on Discogs right now. These guys built a cult following and did it right. They'd be fine with just their core base but now they're breaking through on a national level. It's so cool to see. -

Isn't this all actually just to promote his Buffalo Bills themed t-shirt through One Buffalo? I think the song was just some extra promotion and not intended to be that serious. Per everything else on Twitter the shirt that he's wearing is the focus. Yeah it's on the one Buffalo site. It's a tshirt commercial. -

Yeah the video is unfortunately kind of lame but I'm surprised to see all of the Benny hate / unawareness. He and the rest of Griselda are doing great things for Buffalo, and they put out some of the best hip hop of the year. Like 90's golden era hip hop, none of that soundcloud mumble crap. -
Their QB depth chart is Taylor Heinicke and Steven Montez? No, they are not a good team. Chase Young is fantastic and they've got some nice pieces, but if you're dressing Colorado Buffs sort-of legend Steven Montez as an actual NFL QB in 2020, then you've got some things to sort out before you're a legitimately good football team.

General thought is that it's insane that he's even putting up a comparable line. Did anybody really expect this by year 3? I'd take '20 Josh Allen over '10 Brady, '14 Rodgers, '15 Newton, '17 Brady, and maybe even Lamar last year. For this year's MVP, the stats are there, it's just a shame that we may be seeing absolute peak Aaron Rodgers this year. I think I even remember some talking heads pondering if the window was starting to shut on Rodgers a year or two ago. Clearly nope. But outside of freak-Rodgers, it's also clear that Allen is putting up MVP numbers right now, and if this is anywhere near his new baseline then he'll get one eventually.

Diggs first team all-pro chances?
Nelius replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Late night drunk WR rankings, I'm in. Allen Robinson is absolutely a deep threat and one of my favorites in the league. So underrated. I appreciate this though, and will counter with the following: 1. Nuk 2. Diggs 3. Michael Thomas (of last year anyway, who knows) 4. Adams 5. Hill 6. Julio Jones (I don't believe he's hit an age wall and is still a freak when healthy. HOF easy) 7. Allen 8. Evans 9. Robinson 10/11/12: Cooper, Jefferson, Ridley
