I did not declare Allen a bust, his play in college did that... It's too bad McBeane got fooled by the Jets and got stuck with Allen. Yes, correct, growing pains = a better draft pick. The team will take a step back this season, may as well maximize the draft pick by putting the bust project QB out there that everyone wants to see start anyways...

Funny, I always feel a bit sad for the eternal optimist fans, always a letdown, they should have the wherewithall to see it comming, but their religion always blinds them from the truth. I think that's tragically sad.

Go with the QB that will get the most losses, maximize next years draft along with the cap space.
