I think the most encouraging game for the defense was actually the GB game. I understand that Rodgers was banged up, but we made life uncomfortable for him and that is the key against a top QB. You could almost dismiss the Viking games as some kind of crazy anomaly and the Titans game because Mariotta wasn't very good. Going into GB, not moving the ball, and only allowing 22 points was most impressive to me.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

Damnit! I didn't even know I was in the running for this thing, but I'm still disappointed. -

I've always said there were black folks willing to listen to Trump. He was actually extremely popular among that demo prior to his run. What I find absurd is the notion that Kanye West is gonna give him some kind of boost. He most certainly is not. I call it like I see it. -

I don't get the feeling that you're in touch with the black community; not that there's anything wrong with that. Kanye actually had a modicum of clout left. There WERE impressionable people willing to consider what he had to say. Today changed that. The optics were atrocious. If he could have just refrained from wearing that silly hat or acting so subservient, it wouldn't have been such a disaster. The man needs help. I'll leave it at that. -

Not quite sure why you need to equivocate. If the right wants to claim Kanye, go for it. The persuadable blacks are now gone after today's public humiliation. That was not a good look. -

The man is talking about doing math while playing basketball. We're gonna have 8 year old's taking stat breaks after every point, rebound, assist, or blocked shot? He's also imploring Apple to build an IPlane so the POTUS has the "flyest" plane. Forget about politics for one second and recognize that this is a troubled individual. -
Yeah. The fact that most of the public money is going on the Bills and what seems like a high line is actually going UP strikes me as fishy. In general, these games don't go well for the dog. However, I'd be on the other side of the counter if there was such a thing as a guarantee. I just don't see how we're gonna score.

Someone needs to be fired over Mahomes right now.
LSHMEAB replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's odd that you keep comparing him to "certain" QB's. Prescott looked like a solid, unspectacular QB his rookie season. He's regressed and I'm a little surprised. I've never liked Watson. I don't see him improving much beyond what you see. Mahomes is different and most people who dispassionately watch football can see that. To each their own. -
He shouldn't have any complaints about the social scene in Buffalo. Let's do it.

My personal vow regarding Josh Allen: Who is with me

I'm gonna go ahead and give my opinion as to what I'm seeing each and every week. But that's just me. -
Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread

I like Inslee quite a bit but that lisp is going to hurt his chances. It's unfortunate, but those things matter. What I want to see is an unabashed liberal. Hillary lost because she didn't stand for anything. I still have no idea what she was campaigning for and I followed it closely. Her campaign was essentially, "Donald Trump is a bad person, so vote for me." Ideas like $15 minimum wage and universal health care are overwhelmingly popular, yet the left has failed to embrace them out of fear of the S word. Trump proved that the direct approach is the correct approach. -

I think it's gonna end up being Pocahontas. That's a hell of a nickname to shake, but she's authentically far left and unapologetic about it. If there's one lesson we've learned from the past 3 elections, it's that nominating a moderate, "electable" candidate is a recipe for disaster. Don't love the optics, but the field is not particularly strong. I've been really disappointed in Corey Booker since he joined the Senate and had his Spartacus embarrassment. I don't know he lives that down.
