  1. Coach Length is a locker room legend. How dare you speak ill of his program?
  2. These questions are silly to anyone that knows anything about sports.
  3. She'll MAKE the food, but that doesn't mean you're getting any.
  4. If your QB's are Darnold, Peterman, Anderson, and Tyrod, my advice would be to quit fantasy football. Join a 12 step program if need be.
  5. Oh noes! Thank God we have a regime that understands you build for 2030 unlike those reckless fools in LA who may be in for a rude awakening in 2 years if they ONLY win 12+games a year and don't win a Superbowl.
  6. Fair enough. McKinnie may very well have had a better career if he was more dedicated to the craft. He still had a damn good one. My overall point is that I'd rather draft talent and hope they pull it together than draft a lunchpail guy with a limited ceiling. Even drafting character is a crapshoot. Zay Jones was supposedly a high character guy and he ended up running through an apartment complex in LA crusading for Jesus or something or other. I have concerns McBeane places too much emphasis on character. Overall, their drafts have been decent, so it may be an unwarranted concern. I'm no fan of Allen, but he and Edwards certainly aren't limited physically in any way, shape or form.
  7. Yeah, but McKinnie had some character flags and big fat Mike was a "good kid." Donahoe taught me that drafting character over talent is a great way to lose your job.
  8. I'll never get over our big time win against Carolina in 2001. It was awesome! We ended up with fat Mike Williams and they got Julius Peppers. The draft is always hit or miss so I'm not a proponent of tanking, but that win was costly.
  9. Actually down to 6.5, which is kind of surprising. McCown is much better than Darnold. Maybe they assume he'll be rusty.
  10. It's tough to get get guys to sign in Buffalo because of weather/small market issues. That's the cold hard truth. Maybe we should have made a stronger push to keep the receivers that we had. It's at least a slight advantage that they were already here.
  11. This is nonsense. Reid is no offensive genius. He overpaid for useless Sammy Watkins. Unless we're comparing Mahomes to Allen of course. In those discussions, Andy Reid is the football equivalent of Russell Crowe in a Beautiful Mind. Even Peterman would be smashing records if given the privilege to operate in his sci-fi like offensive concepts.
  12. I think he spells it MahoMMes so he can internally avoid reality. God bless that man's moxie and can do spirit! Whatever he's drinking, I'm in.
  13. John, you must have me confused with someone else. I admire your unwavering support. I do not visit this forum to deride anyone nor do I enjoy the sad state of affairs at OBD. Your particular allegiance to everything this organization does is just so over the top. It's virtually impossible to not occasionally question whether you actually believe the things you type. You're an honest broker which is why I respect your Tyrod takes even if I don't agree with them.
  14. Never seemed to negatively affect Josh Gordon on the field. Maybe he needs a new plug.
  15. Peterman is such a scapegoat. Fans always need one guy to blame when the entire team is a sh*tshow.
  16. I will grant you that there are extenuating circumstances around the RZ statistics. Nevertheless, it's not a blanket excuse. Tennessee has the top RZ defense and they don't exactly have a high powered offense. You could also make a case that the yards and play per drive statistics are aided by the fact that they're getting blown out when a large number of those possessions begin. Not nearly to the extent that total yards would be influenced, but it's still a factor. I'm not saying the defense is bad, but I also don't believe they are some great strength.
  17. We've improved over the last two weeks, so the red zone defense has skyrocketed to number 25 in the league allowing a TD on 66% of RZ possessions. Pretty sure we were dead last at 80% prior to the Houston game. Elite defenses do not allow TD's 2 of 3 times opponents reach the 20. It's a vital statistic.
  18. That's like your 8th "rebiuld" so I'm gonna assume you're doing it on purpose. I'm not trying to nitpick, but what's the deal with the misspelling schtick?
  19. Don't forget about the stupid Patriots. All those dumba*s teams paying players with such reckless abandon as we acquire 5th round picks and cap space galore! Winning!
  20. Why is their red zone defense amongst the worst in the league? Why is it so shocking when they give up field goals as opposed to TD's?(They did a nice job in the NE game) Is that part of the process?
  21. Fans want to "shelve" Allen because they're nervous he's gonna look like garbage. The sooner we find out what we have, the better. Nobody is expecting him to light up the scoreboard with this offensive roster. He should be expected to show growth and competency.
  22. Stop ruining a good narrative with facts! The defense is fixed and Sean McDermott is a mastermind on that side of the ball. Just need to work on the O! This defense is middle of the pack.
  23. I didn't really see a question there from Jim, and he got OWNED. That's not a game you want to play with Trump. I'm not someone who despises CNN, but this guy is dead weight. Between this and his emotional plea to Sanders for "civility," I wish they'd cut him loose. At least Alexander asked him a question and didn't look like a fool.
