  1. McDermott had his team fired up and Bowles team quit on him. That says a lot of McDermott's ability to motivate, but not nearly enough about his long term viability as a coach. There are certainly some good young players on this roster, but I'm not going to read too much into what happened yesterday against a bad Jets team. I was already aware of McDermott's ability to motivate.
  2. I noticed THAT as well. Never being around Allen when he came off the field. There is quite a bit of speculation involved in this as we don't really know what's going on inside the room, but the body language yesterday was pretty obvious to my untrained eye. I get it. You're upset. It's gotta be frustrating. That doesn't excuse being a poor teammate. You suck it up and support your teammates at the very least.
  3. The hail mary is another great example of putting self above team. I don't have a degree in body language, but I did not like what I saw from him on the sidelines yesterday. It's a rather moot point because he'll be gone, but there's some evidence that he's a piss poor teammate.
  4. He didn't look like a "good guy" yesterday sulking on the sideline shooting daggers at Barkley. You really think you deserved another chance bro? I had alot of respect for him as a person even though he was a historically awful QB that didn't belong in the NFL. Not anymore. I'm NO fan of Allen, but he's been upbeat and positive towards the team even when he's on the sideline.
  5. GM: Brandon Beane HC: Sean McDermott OC: Brian Daboll DC: Leslie Frazier ST: Danny Crossman Just you wait and see! On a serious note, I have no idea why people think Leslie Frazier is some kind of defensive wizard. He's mediocre at best.
  6. Yep. What you need to do defensively is get after the quarterback and cover. Can't get gashed in the run game but it's not a top priority. Basically need a couple players capable of making big plays to alter a few possessions a game.
  7. For some STRANGE reason, I feel like Barkley might have a decent game. Very little is expected from him so there's virtually no pressure. He's at least got an NFL arm. He's similar to Anderson who I think may have played slightly better if he was 100 percent committed to it.
  8. No. He bought himself at least another year by squeaking into the playoffs with an awful point differential. Now he's brought in yet another offensive coordinator who doesn't know what he's doing and the wheels are falling off. It's THIS year. We're not going back to 82 to take State.
  9. I think McVay should probably be fired. This board has taught me that losing is a GOOD thing and portends future success. With the way McVay is succeeding, dismal failure is right around the corner.
  10. When did this country become so pro-management? It's kind of creepy really. Good for him.
  11. I'm not knocking you personally, but that is one of the most ridiculous takes I've ever seen. He's only won MVP honors once? Cam is a unique talent that gets overlooked because people don't quite know what to make of him. His success cannot be questioned. Josh Allen is the worst rated passer in the NFL(besides the Peterman and Anderson of course.) I'll be happy if Allen makes a Pro Bowl. An MVP season seems unlikely at this point. One percent seems about right.
  12. So they were sort of like the 2018 Bills, but completely different in pretty much every way imaginable. Got it.
  13. This is exactly correct. I happen to disagree with regard to Allen, but this is the underlying subtext to many posts.
  14. Never in all my years of following the "next great Bills QB" have I seen fans want a guy shelved as much as they want Allen shelved. Nobody ever worried about EJ getting injured or ruined by Nate Hackett's offense. I'm not just talking about this situation. Going back to training camp, there's this sense that fans want to keep Allen on the bench as long as humanly possible. I get it. If he looks like crap, next year doesn't look so bright.
  15. Fans are terrified that Allen may just not be very good. That's where this sentiment comes from. It would be in McDermott's best interest to shelve him as long as possible, so he deserves praise if he doesn't take the easy way out. The sooner we find out what we have, the better.
  16. Sounds like something I'll put on my resume. I played quarterback when I was 12, so basically I was involved in "Sporting Goods Distribution" at quite a young age.
  17. Exactly. The Jets aren't so much geared up to STOP Barkley, Anderson, or Peterman. They're just trying to put in some kind of gameplan to at least limit the potential damage they'll do to the scoreboard at MetLife.
  18. I'm gonna leave the whole smoking subject alone after this, but it's really about respect. I make it a point to never smoke around anyone. If I'm at a casino table, I'll get up if I need to smoke. Shoot, I'll turn away from someone if I'm outside a building. Just give us a tiny secluded area at the stadium and I'm cool. And I think the overwhelming majority of us drink. My hat is off to the Bills fan capable of complete sobriety.
  19. This was like 85/15 Bills before you started spitting facts. I've come around to thinking 28.5 is about right. They would have very little chance of scoring, but we would certainly not dominate them on offense. If the Bills had the OL they had last season, I think they could conceivably run them into submission. Not with this group.
  20. No designated smoking areas. Again, it's a bad habit, but a bummer if you happen to partake in said bad habit. Yeah. I'm not one to pull some BS like that, but every baseball/basketball stadium/arena I've attended had some kind of option. It is what it is. Had a good time because we beat the **** out of the Raiders and went to 5-2. How times have changed. I'd still go if given the chance because I live 2500 miles away and won't have many opportunities. I'm sure it's a much different situation for those in closer proximity.
