  1. Dak isn't that good, but they don't have to make that decision until 2020. They gave up their first round pick in 2019, so they're unlikely to find a franchise guy in that draft. This only makes sense if you believe Eli will be significantly better than Dak next season(I don't) or if you think Dak is gonna net the Cowboys something big in a trade.(I don't) Eli is done.
  2. One could argue that Nick Cage's main problem wasn't that he fell in love with a hooker. Liz Shue actually provided some pep in his step.
  3. I fall in love with hookers almost every time I get wasted.
  4. I just don't remember much sympathy for Bania. Costanza had a soft spot for the ovaltine bit. Didn't have to think much. Other than that, he was wildly unpopular.
  5. Is everyone aware the OP is TROLLING or nah? Some of his material is decent, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something.
  6. It's also more acceptable for a fat chick to make fun of a skinny chick than vice versa. A disadvantage of privilege if you will.
  7. It's actually the opposite. Faith or lack thereof has no place in a professional organization. If the Bills are slighting players for their personal views on Christianity, one way or the other, it's a problem. There is no evidence to suggest some sort of litmus test, but if there were, that would be a problem.
  8. It was a good piece. The one thing I'll quibble with is the notion that we play the Pats well(as the article suggested). We've had a few high profile competitive games which skews outside perception. We all know that the Bills have been dominated by the Pats since Brady's arrival. Just kind of odd that those that don't follow closely seem to think we routinely give them fits.
  9. Comp picks depend on what another team is willing to pay him if I understand the formula correctly. I can't imagine him getting much in free agency. Most likely a small one year prove it deal.
  10. The narrative has been that no matter who plays QB, the Bills are going to be atrocious on offense. This is not a Barkley vs. Allen thing. Barkley played well above his ability, but he demonstrated that the offensive talent isn't as atrocious as they've been made out to be. They're well below average, but good quarterback play masks a lot of deficiencies. Not saying Allen is going to worry about losing his job long term to Barkley, but the excuses for poor play are slightly diminished.
  11. I'm more concerned about the RZ defense, although I have no explanation or theory. Just needs to be better if they're to be considered an elite unit. 3rd down percentage is annoying as a fan, but probably has too many variables to be considered statistically significant.
  12. KB is PRESSING. I don't think he's the MOST dedicated guy there is, but that angle is blown out of proportion IMO. The truth is he's just not a very good player and the QB's are not good. Almost felt bad for him on the TD drop because you could tell it hurt. It's in his head at this point. That's not an excuse either; football requires mental fortitude. I just think he gets a little too much hate for "lack of effort."
  13. Any way you slice it, Barkley put some additional pressure on Allen to perform better than he has thus far.
  14. Appreciate it. I vaguely remember him after seeing the pic. Isiah's got some Avion Black to his game as well.
  15. There's a good chance Allen won't work out. I agree he needs to play, but we've got to be prepared as a franchise for the possibility that Allen isn't the answer. The more QB's we kick the tires on, the better.
  16. I was specifically asking why you felt Allen gave us a better chance to win than Barkley ever could. What has Josh Allen done as a professional QB to give you such confidence in that statement?
  17. You don't need to tell me about Teller. Been a fan since the draft. Still, his decisiveness was a major factor in the lack of QB pressures.
  18. No doubt. It's not a bad thing to find a viable backup QB in the middle of the season. Just trying to keep it in proper perspective. We've seen true garbage at QB and what kind of toll that takes on a team.
  19. I was thinking about that after I posted. The positive under McDermott is that we've won the majority of close games we've played. Call it luck or happenstance if you like. It's not something I'm used to as a fan. That's how a team with a negative point differential sneaks into the playoffs. We also haven't squandered leads. When things start well, they stay that way. The negative is that once things start going poorly, they never seem to step up and change the momentum to keep the game competitive. This may mean absolutely nothing. Just personal observations. Keep in mind, I'm trying to be as positive as possible right now because I firmly believe we do not have a quarterback.
  20. He's decisive, which is part of the reason the offensive line "looked" so much better yesterday. Our first round QB should take note of that. His skillset relegates him to backup. As others have pointed out, he easily could have thrown 2 picks. They weren't mental errors either. Both times he nearly threw a pick, it was an arm strength issue. You can't teach speed or arm strength.
  21. The answer to this question is NO. I think we all know that. I do like the fact that they've recognized the need for speed and versatility at the position and brought him back up and brought in Isaac McKinnock. Those sweeps to McKenzie could be more prominent going forward. They've tried it a few times with Zay, but he really doesn't have the athletic skillset to make it work.
