  1. No. Yes! As to the topic, I spend zero time thinking about or dissecting the proper method of food consumption. If someone turns on a cooking show, I leave the room. I pretty much just eat when I'm hungry. Again, to each their own.
  2. I know people are half joking, but I never understood the fascination with what people eat and don't eat. Do you!
  3. There's just a hint of you know what when players are considered "selfish" and "ungrateful," yet owners are less frequently or fervently attacked for fleecing municipalities out of tax dollars for stadium funding. And yeah. Pretty much. I was trying to properly phrase earnings maximizing in a more dignified fashion and was surprised to not see a red squiggly line under "maximization."
  4. I can walk and chew gum at the same time. I don't cling to my opinions if they're disproven by evidence. I recognize them as opinions. While it's true that I believe Allen will bust, I'd gladly be wrong. I don't sit there waiting for Allen to play like trash so I can come to an anonymous message board to say I told you so. What prize do I win? I'm not into moral victories. What I want to see is the Buffalo Bills become Superbowl contenders. Anything that precipitates that is cool by me.
  5. You never know! I'm an Allen skeptic, but I'm not opposed to pairing him with a guy like Harry if they view him as roughly equal to a Brown. My only gripe would be if they reached. Let's say they view Brown as an 84 and Harry as an 82. I wouldn't have a problem taking Harry. If it's more like an 8 point gap, it would be a mistake.
  6. You are aware of the distinction between competent and elite, correct? The rookie QB's than pan out generally look "competent." People act like the other rookie QB's struggles portends something good for Allen. It doesn't. It's entirely possible they all suck. I don't expect Allen to light up the stat sheet or the score board. I do expect him to take chances and look the part.
  7. It's ridiculous to expect the quarterback we drafted 7th overall to look "competent?" Talk about low expectations.
  8. Yep. No more excuses for the rook. Time to look like a competent NFL QB.
  9. You've got an odd writing style that's sometimes difficult to decipher, but I like the way you think. If Allen is gonna be the guy, it makes a lot of sense to focus on receivers with greater catch radii. That being said, I wouldn't want to pass up a better player on that basis alone. That's short term thinking. Marquis Brown will end up being the best receiver in this draft IMO. I'm fine with them taking catch radii into account, but wouldn't be fine if that was a determining factor.
  10. He beat Clemson! Clemson for god's sake. Tom Brady never even beat Clemson!
  11. Now you're catching on. If you're gonna be bad, be historically bad. Try as they may, no one will ever duplicate the PeterMan's level of ineptitude. The man is a living legend.
  12. You mean you "loved" his game. According to many on this board, he's toast. The crime of attempted earning maximization is punishable by banishment from the NFL. RB's can play forever and it's not like they take a beating. What a punk! Edit: I had no idea maximization was a word. You learn something new every day.
  13. Also need to bring back the Peter Man. It was a rash decision by the Bills to part ways so soon. Seems like a good decision to bring back Thompson. Between DT, McKenzie, and Foster, they've got a lot of versatility down the depth chart at WR.
  14. 3-4 years? That's what they said about EJ. The offense is bad, but they resemble a real, live professional unit when the QB play is competent. This is the NFL, which technically stands for National Football League, but Jerry Glanville would beg to differ. Allen needs to put up or shut up.
  15. If you took the time to actually read the article, this has very little to do with NY vs. Florida and a great deal to do with US vs. China, Vietnam, and Haiti. Additionally; From the article: “For me,” he said, “the cultural change was to have people really spend most of the day talking about those things.” If the company is shifting it's business model from manufacturing to fashion and licencing, would you rather have a site in Derby, NY or Miami? That's not to bash Derby, but I don't really see trendsetting innovation coming from that hamlet. They're essentially setting up a sham operation in Miami in order to meet certain criteria for the deal. Nevertheless, their new business model probably favors a site in South Florida, all things being equal.
  16. That is really grasping at straws to assume they'd franchise Ronald Darby and pay him 16 mil a year. Unless of course, you're also assuming they drafted Pat Mahomes and Tre White wasn't on the roster. In that case, the entire world would be flipped on it's head and we'd have very little to complain about. When you feel the need to make things up, you probably don't have a great case.
  17. We're screwed! Stanford has replaced him as the "vet" LB'er.
  18. Wait a second! If that's true, then I still don't.....care.
  19. Fair enough. So if Allen plays like trash, we won't be hearing about how the entire offensive roster sucks, right? Barkley is not the answer, but the Jets game demonstrated the impact competent QB play can have. Barkley will never play like that again. Got lucky avoiding two picks and I have no doubt he'd once again be a turnover machine if asked to play for an extended period of time. However, he was also willing to take chances with the ball and voila, our receivers went from historically bad to merely below average. At some point, preferably soon, I'd like to see Josh Allen prove he can sling it around the field. Results are a hell of a lot better than excuses.
  20. Fair enough. I personally never want to see another situation like we had with Doug Flutie, where it never quite felt like the BUFFALO BILLS. The excuses, bashing other players, etc. to support the Bubble Boy(Allen) are starting to get old and he's played like 5 games.
  21. Me too. Far too much hope is being placed in a high risk draft pick. They'd be wise to have a legitimate back-up plan in place if he doesn't work out. We've seen QB's like Allen come and go. I'm a Bills fan. Makes no difference who's playing QB.
