Fair enough. The numbers refute my take on Lorax and I always defer to numbers. That being said, the lack of a dynamic edge athlete is preventing this defense from making the jump from good to elite. Too many TD's in the RZ. Get a freak athlete coming off the edge and I believe that works itself out. Does anyone have a better idea as to how to fix the awful RZ defense? Love to hear it.

Allen is quite a bit faster than Mahomes, but Mahomes is well ahead of him as a passer. I think Mahomes is actually pretty slow. Agree with everything else you stated.

I like to think I judge him fairly. It's not like he's been a lights out passer these last two games. But he's definitely shown enough flashes to engender confidence that he could very well be the guy. All I wanted to see was that flash of greatness. Wouldn't be surprised if he had a hiccup or 3 this season. That's fine for a rookie. The only thing I don't want to see is JA being gunshy. I'd rather see him throw some picks while taking chances than eating the ball and trying to run 50 yards with no time on the clock like the Peterman. Let it rip bro.

To be honest, I think he's more soft mentally than lazy. His lack of production had to be wearing on him. Neither is a good quality, and it was time to move on.

You could feel the disappointment when he dropped that would be TD against NYJ. I'm glad the guy is no longer a Bill, but some people spend way too much time analyzing body language, etc. We have no idea what's actually in his heart. His poor play spoke for itself, but I think some of the criticism is unwarranted. He's no longer the Bills problem.

Numbers don't lie. I'm shocked to see him at #4 in pressure percentage because I rarely notice him anymore during the games. Still want to get more athletic at that spot.

NOOOO! He's eating up a roster spot that could be had by a younger, more athletic player. If he can be had for vet minimum, I wouldn't hate it. The main thing this defense is lacking is another edge rusher opposite Hughes. We need a younger, more athletic version of Lorax. I think that'll help us out quite a bit in the RZ, where the D has struggled mightily. I'm over Lorax the football player.

I feel like the desire to sign Williams is one of necessary desperation. True number 1's are damn near impossible to find on the open market and Williams seems like the best of the available players. I don't know about a huge deal, but I'd go 9/10 per year for 4 years and then draft WR in the first round. This offense needs weapons and they can't sit around and wait for the perfect players to come around. Good piece, but I find it unfathomable that the Jets would let Enunwa go. They have a young quarterback and even more cap room than the Bills. You're probably talking about a MASSIVE overpay to even have a chance. Hard pass on Tevin Coleman even if McCoy is gone. Nice little player. Not particularly dynamic like a Kamara or a McCaffrey. Wouldn't even call him a poor man's version. Maxx Williams could be a value pickup.

Same old RZ garbage. When the hell is this team going to get some stops inside the 20? We are now at 70% TD's given up, just 4 spots from the bottom. It's a real problem for a D that claims to be amongst the best. The defense needs a young Lorax.

I predict that matchup has a zero percent chance of being played on a Monday night. Could definitely see it as a TNF game.
