  1. The hell you been? At this point, I'd rather have LVE, but Edmunds bounced back in the finale. I just don't know how much to take away from that game as it seemed like the Fins quit. Edmunds needs to start playing angry; maybe he needs a messy breakup or something. Got all the talent in the world. Prefer LVE's production for the moment but time will tell.
  2. To be honest, I don't remember previous regimes having such unwavering support. The closest I've seen was the Tom Donahoe era. That taught me a valuable lesson; trust, but verify.
  3. It's not Reed's job to manage the team. He's essentially a fan voicing his opinion. Until we see results, it's fair game.
  4. What is "turn it around?" You talking playoffs? Hell, even 9-7 and a wild card loss is fine. These are not unrealistic expectations in year 3. I've seen the teardown. I want to see some construction.
  5. You'll definitely get "flamed," but I like to think you're entitled to your opinion. I have serious doubts about Allen, but that'll be settled next season.
  6. Nantz just seems extra extra with every call today. On a close to the sticks play the first NE drive, that "got it with a yard to spare" seemed super obnoxious. I've heard the b***washing schtick before, but he's on a roll today.
  7. Why does it feel like Nantz is a die hard Pats fan? Maybe it's just me.
  8. As long as they start winning, they'll be fine. I would think all Bills fans would be tired of other teams popping up everywhere. It's our turn. Make or break in 2019.
  9. Rivers has that swagger about him today. Didn't really see it against Baltimore, but he was getting beat up all day.
  10. He's just saying what many of us are thinking. They made the decision to go full rebuild so we've dealt with many growing pains. This season is make or break for McBeane IMO. They drafted their QB who will be in his second season in the same system and have 90 mil in cap space. Hope and excuses will run dry if next season is anything like 2018.
  11. They're getting ready to play in the Conference Championship game in McVay's 2nd season. I'd be pretty happy with those kind of results from a Bills HC. I would agree with the poster who said that Goff doesn't look right. He seems hesitant to pull the trigger for whatever reason. Had perfect protection on a few PA plays with "open enough" receivers down the field and ran OOB or threw it away.
  12. I watched Williams and Ferrill intently during the NC game. Ferrill soundly beat him virtually every time they lined up against each other. Not just in pass pro either. He got pushed back run blocking as well. He's not an NFL LT IMO. Rather take the guy that was whooping him.
  13. I think people are equating "wanting them to lose" with actively, consciously watching the game and hoping his teammates fail. The human psyche is a bit more complex. While I'm sure he doesn't have any knived out Foles' dolls, there's most likely a small part of him that doesn't want to watch yet another Eagles Superbowl from the sidelines. The human brain can walk and chew gum at the same time. You think Tyrod wanted Peterman to light it up against the Chargers? By all accounts, Tyrod is a high character guy much like Wentz. Doesn't make them infallible.
  14. Shaq is just so meh. He's like the Ryan Tannehill of defensive ends. He does some things well(tipped passes, contain, etc), but not nearly enough to warrant that price tag. I'm in favor of drafting an edge rusher at 9. I assume the option decision precedes the draft so that could tell us quite a bit about the direction they're going. I didn't know you could pick up the option and rescind. Seems practical but a little bit shady. In a perfect scenario, he takes a 4 year/18-20 mil deal, but I can guarantee you someone will outbid that if we decline the option and his performance is even just steady in 2019.
  15. I'm with you on the hindsight thing. I don't really play that game because I personally didn't think he'd be this good. But he IS this good. I don't really blame the Bills because there was too much going on with the organization. What's done is done. I can't sit here and pretend like he's not special because the Bills didn't draft him.
  16. If you really take a look at the number of posts one way or another, the overwhelming preponderance of them are pro Allen citing everything Kansas City has that the Bills don't. Not quite sure where the persecution complex comes from. Right now, Mahomes is great. There's no reason to believe he wouldn't have solid results anywhere. QB's like that tend to make everyone better. Hopefully, Allen gets near that level and the Bills get him more talent. It's unfair to judge Allen one way or the other at this point. We know what Mahomes is all about.
  17. Why people feel the need to bash Ralph Wilson in death is beyond me. At this point, I don't care if he didn't spend x amount on y coach, etc. He went above and beyond to make sure we're even here talking about a team named the Buffalo Bills.
  18. I would like to think you've read enough of my posts to understand it was 100% snark. Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL.
  19. I think Mahomes would be a great QB regardless of where he landed. It doesn't really matter if he'd put up the exact same numbers on another team. He appears to be an elite QB.
  20. At this point, there's not really a comparison between Mahomes and Allen. I just want to see Allen improve and hopefully become "the guy." The comparisons are getting kind of old. I understand there's a narrative because we passed on him, but I enjoy watching Mahomes play as a football fan. Would love to be watching the Bills in a playoff game, but it is what it is.
  21. What's up with Captain Andrew Luck? Time to step up or he won't be alive to send home any letters after this battle. This is a bad defense.
