Getting rid of talent because they didn't fit the system/didn't want to be here/got outbid is NOT NEW for the Bills franchise. It's been done time and time and time and time again. These guys have made a point of emphasizing the need to get rid of these players, but I've seen this play before. They have THE Coach. They have THE Quarterback. Why should fans expect anything less than the playoffs in 2019? I'm getting the sense that people are already preparing for mediocrity next season, yet are somehow fine with it. I want more from this team. I'm sick of tired of watching other teams spring up out of nowhere and go on playoff runs while the Bills talk about "next year." It's always next year.

And as bad as KC's defense was, they still had 27 takeaways. Only 7 teams had more. Defense is all about playmakers now. A near elite corner in White helps, but the only young guy in our front 7 who makes big plays is Milano. I expect Edmunds to improve in that category, but we need to add one more. Our safeties are reliable as well as occasional ballhawks. What's missing is a young pass rushing force with Jerry and Lorax getting up there in age.

Meh. I agree in a sense, but all 4 remaining teams have playmakers in the front 7. Winning defense in the playoffs means pressure on elite quarterbacks, TFL's, and turnovers. I wouldn't discount defense entirely. Just have to properly allocate resources.

That play was definitely fatal, but he made plenty of mistakes on his own after the first two drives. Missed alot of passes and looked mediocre at best. Still a letdown to see that final drive end like that.

I agree with the sentiment, but I don't really care if only one of the two(Chiefs or Rams) win. The idea of a Pats/Saints SB just feels boring. Like when two aces square off in baseball and the final score is something like 12-9.

Definitely still got a lot of upside, but could see us easily outbidding the Ravens considering they drafted Hurst in the first round last year. It does probably mean they're not sold on Williams, but it would be a good value signing IMO. That's what free agency is all about. Teams are gonna keep their top guys so you have to look for players their respective team may undervalue.

Fair enough. But it would be great if Allen shuts us all up next season. It really would. That's what this is gonna boil down to. If he gets it done, I'm not gonna give a rats a** about Mahomes. I don't expect 50 TD's or anything crazy. Just play solid efficient football. Something like 25 passing TD's and 3500 yards with a 9-7 record would he a huge step in the right direction.

Forget about the whole hindsight debate. Would you rather have Mahomes or Allen? You have a choice right now. Who are you taking? I just don't think you have to play make believe to be a Bills fan. I'd rather see the Bills win the Superbowl and Allen throw for 60 TD's, but I call it like I see it.

Saints and Brees have looked suspect for awhile now. Maybe that Cowboys game wasn't an aberration. Terrible underthrow by Brees on that pick.

Caught quite a few Eagles games. Wentz did not look fully recovered. Very odd situation indeed. Ok. Now it's just getting ridiculous.

Many people agree. Somehow, Doug Pederson is overlooked in all of this. May be the second best HC in the NFL and I never hear his name mentioned outside of the QB debate.

Very early, but this is why I never bet against the Eagles in a big game. With all the talk about Foles/Wentz, Pederson never seems to get his due.

Yeah. I'm gonna refrain from throwing one of the greatest players in Bills history under the bus for Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott. These guys haven't earned a damn thing yet.

I've stopped betting against Doug P. Haven't seen him lose a must win yet. I don't expect them to win per se, but I wouldn't be shocked. Definitely hoping for a tight game.
