G Jon Feliciano (Raiders) to the Bills
LSHMEAB replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like one of those weight loss before and after success stories. -
WR John Brown (Ravens) to the Bills
LSHMEAB replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The contracts are all wisely front loaded. Whatever you think of the moves, they would still be able to sign a top tier FA WR next year. -
TE Tyler Kroft (Bengals) to the Bills
LSHMEAB replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess I don't understand where you're coming from. I was quoting a post that said something along the lines of "I hope this isn't another Clay deal." My response was that it would be great if Kroft matched Clay's production in 15 and 16. -
TE Tyler Kroft (Bengals) to the Bills

You wouldn't be happy with 1100 yards, 7 TD's and excellent blocking for two seasons of Kroft? I would. -
Report - Bills talking to Hou for Clowney
LSHMEAB replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If it weren't for the rookie contract vs. Clowney's money, it'd be a no brainer. I would prefer they swing a deal that shifts around the first or something else creative assuming there's any validity to this(which there probably isn't.) Having said that, the defense would transform from solid to elite with this type of move. -

Would you take Clowney at 9? I would. -
WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills

If Josh Allen is the real deal, the offense should be vastly improved even if you don't love the acquisitions. -
WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills

"Next year's" free agent class is always loaded. "Next year's" draft is always loaded. This regime is in no position to sit on that cash. The time to win is now. -
WR John Brown (Ravens) to the Bills
LSHMEAB replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To play Devil's advocate, the deal he signed is SUBSTANTIALLY better than the one they offered in 2018. Not quite sure that he improved his stock all that much in 2018. That being said, if he balls, I really don't much care about the contract. -
What Bellicheat has been up to....
LSHMEAB replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When I looked at the thread title and the picture, I assumed you were talking about his weight. -
Although I expect Dawkins to play LT or LG, that's a possibility. If we make another move, it may give us a clearer picture as to what the line will look like. At this point, we've signed 2 players(outside of Morse) who don't have a definitive position as of yet. I think we're in general agreement that alot of this won't be sorted out until training camp. As you said, it's a challenge for the staff but not a problem. Long and Ty(don't want to look up his last name again) are better than Miller and Mills. That's a good thing.

I understand that everyone wants to compile an absolute list slotting each player at all five OL positions. The reality is that 2 of the guys we signed don't have an absolute position. Long will not play center with the Morse signing. Dawkins will start somewhere whether it be LT or LG. Ty will start somewhere whether it be LT or RT. The Bills will almost certainly draft multiple lineman. Based on these signings, there will likely be much to sort out in camp. It will be up to the staff to decide who plays where, etc. Morse at center is really the only certainty.

Please don't forget our other new WR.......
LSHMEAB replied to Mooshocker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't rule anything out considering Foster's ascent last season, but he's Da'Rick Rogers at this point. -
Ansah would be a perfect compliment to Trent Murphy. Chances are strong that ONE of them would be healthy any given Sunday. I kid. I do think Murphy would be on the outside looking in if we swing this deal.

WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills

The other benefit to the Beasley signing is that he's a terrific rapper. His personality just might surprise you. -
The Strategy of Signing Frank Gore
LSHMEAB replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not. I'm still bewildered by the fact that this move is so polarizing/scrutinized. They signed an old RB who somehow remains pretty effective. Better than Ivory for sure. I don't see any strategy/grand design. I see an upgrade at the backup RB position, which still needs an upgrade and I fully expect them to draft one. -
Most if not all of it depends on Allen's development. With the upgraded offensive personnel, 2019 sets up to be a pivotal season for JA. Not like we're the Chiefs, but the crap supporting cast excuses are gone.

WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills
LSHMEAB replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With the money we're shelling out to lesser WR's, I continue to believe that Brown nixed the deal. Nobody knows for sure, but that is my belief. Either way, we added a known commodity in Beasley and a guy with "upside" in Brown. Not particularly enthused or disappointed. The one area of concern I still have is at guard. If we're going to run the ball downhill, they have to upgrade at that position. -
TE Tyler Kroft (Bengals) to the Bills
LSHMEAB replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills get Clay years 1/2 level production out of Kroft, it's a homerun signing. -
WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills
LSHMEAB replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For sure. He seems to be at his best when a play is extended by the quarterback. Got those wiggle moves that allow him to get open quickly. Don't love the contract, but it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Terrific weapon to have, especially on 3rd and 6.
