  1. The como? I've seen some terrible movies for $1.50 there but something tells me it has been gone for a long time.
  2. throws like tater...
  3. How expensive are we talking at The Globe?
  4. Heading up to Montreal for the 3rd time to catch the Sabres beat up on Les Habitants. Anybody been up there before? We're staying at the Sheraton across from the Bell Centre. Looking for suggestions for places to eat, things to do and nightspots to hit. We're more bar than club guys, unless of course we're talking strip club. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. In the past we've eaten mostly and the Hard Rock and Peels pub and hit up Chez Paris. We're looking to branch out a little bit.
  5. monorail has been closed since they began construction on the MGM City Center http://www.vegastodayandtomorrow.com/condomap.htm
  6. Never stayed there but spend a decent amount of time there. They have a great brewery in the back of the casino and usually have decent table limits. It's no Bellagio but it is no dump either. Check out what www.cheapovegas has to say. There are probably some good reviews on tripadvisor.com too
  7. Something like "The man who brought me to the island is a great man"
  8. I know where I can listen to the games online? I know you can watch them on sportsline.com but it is easier to hide radio from Lumberg than it is TV...
  9. agreed, so the big question is "Why was Jack playing football with the Others/Hostiles?"
  10. Less than 10 hours to showtime, I hope last week's great episode got everyone back on the bandwagon.
  11. Last night was a great episode and even sh--, I mean stojan can't argue. It's still on way too late but I loved it none the less. I have no idea what Locke was thinking. First off he lets the guy get a jump on him, although I have no idea how the guy untied himself, then he blew the place up. Do you think he would have pushed "77" if he had seen all the C4? It sucks really bad that the place blew up but boy is it good to have Sayid around. Don't think anybody else would have figured out there was another person there.
  12. If you're going to make a joke at least spell it right. Nice fat fingers, fatty....
  13. Kwame Cavil is one of my all time favorite players, I almost bought his jersey, I really thought he was going ot make it...
  14. From ESPN.com: Whittle understand the mantra that the more you can do the longer you will be around. Whittle has learned to continue his career as a professional football player and plays multiple positions as well as contribute in a variety of ways on special teams. Whittle is able to play all five positions on the offensive line and is an intelligent player that uses angles to his advantage against defenders. He works hard to use great technique using hand placement and leverage to wall off opponents, but he lacks the power to move defenders and expand the hole. This lack of lower-leg strength is also evident when Whittle faces two-gap defensive linemen that are able to stalemate him at the point of attack and shed him to make plays. Whittle does a nice job in space engulfing linebackers at the second level when pulling. When asked to start at guard this season for Minnesota the Vikings actually fared better up front with Whittle in the game. In pass protection, Whittle does a very good job working his hips and feet together with average punch but good hand placement re-directing the pass rusher. Along with decent size Whittle brings versatility, football smarts and deceptive athleticism for an offensive lineman that will allow this veteran to continue to make a roster, get on the field and contribute

  16. You're 100% correct, people don't know what they are talking about. He made a few huge saves and got left out to dry on the goals. He does a great job when called upon.
  17. Didn't think it was a bad show but nothing special, worth DVR'ing. Interesting to see Rainn Wilson playing some different characters. Oh and I had no idea who Arcade Fire was but you guys got me excited and they were AWFUL...
  18. So more questions from last night: 1) Why did Jack get beat up for his tatoo? 2) Why were all the people watching Jack? 3) Are we thinking they live somewhere civilized or uncivilized? How many islands can there be? 4) When does Jack score with Juliet?
  19. It's almost time. Last week got me rejuvenated. I'm looking forward to tonight. I just wish they'd move it back to 9 PM...
  20. Wow, I was expecting to get slammed for my statement. Glad that the Senate didn't even vote on it. Possibly the first time I've agreed with VABills...
  21. What a waste of time. I hate politics but most of all I hate Dems.
  22. Damn I missed it. Did anybody save it?
  23. My favorite and really demonstrates my overall attitude towards life is this Deep Thought: To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around, that way if anyone says "Hey, can you give me a hand" you can say "Sorry, I've got these sacks"
  24. Does anybody actually believe Alex is Ben's daughter?
  25. Definitely too late and I finally got through the 50 Loose Ends, wow, a lot of reading. I'm looing forward to tonight, though it will raise more questions than answers.
